Enjoy the elegant comforts of our spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom appartment. Beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated it offers an oasis of calm and relaxation. The open and airy living area has comfortable seating with patio doors leading onto the two large terraces. One terrace is south facing overlooking the main pool and garden. It is ideal for al-fresco eating for 6 and watching the sun rise . The main terrace is west facing where you can have sundowners watching spectacular sunsets with Gibraltar as a backdrop. On clear days you can see Africa in the distance. The kitchen is bright with modern appliances and a hatch to the elegant dining area. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, (can be separated into twin beds), en suite bathroom with twin basins and bath/shower and patio doors to the main terrace. Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds and an en suite bathroom with shower cubicle. Marble flooring throughout with A/C for hot summer days. TV, CD/DVD player, iPod dock, free Wifi. Linen is provided. Over the south facing terrace is a two-part retractable awning which provides welcome shade during the hot summer months.

Oase in der Sonne

In diesem neuen Apartment hat wirklich nichts gefehlt! Die Lage war gut, Aussicht von den Terrassen herrlich, toll möbliert, super Badezimmer, Klimaanlage funktionierte, alles von Feinsten!

Kochen konnte man in der komplett eingerichteten Küche sehr gut, aber in der Umgebung sind so viele Lokale, in denen man sehr gut essen konnte.

Die Gegend ist erforschenswert und sehr abwechslungsreich mit Meer und Bergen in greifbarer Nähe. Besonders gut haben uns Estepona, Ronda, Ojen, Puerto Banus und Gibraltar gefallen.

Auch wenn man lieber nur auf der Terrasse oder am Pool entspannen möchte, so kann man dies in aller Ruhe tun.

Ein Auto ist allerdings Muss, da das Apartment auf einem Hügel ist und kein Lokal in unmittelbarer Nähe ist.

Wir haben einen Tagesausflug zu 'La Concha' gemacht, einem Berg in der Sierra Blanka in der Nähe von Marbella, ganz bestimmt die Mühe des Erkletterns wert, die Aussicht war phantastisch!

Ich kann dieses Apartment wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon auf ein paar weitere Tage in dieser herrlichen Oase.

Immaculate retreat

Four of us stayed at this imaculately presented apartment. Situated on the top floor the balconies are perfect for relaxing in the evening breeze and stargazing.

The apartment is very well furnised with great personal finishing touches.

Secluded location, conveniently placed to reach Benahavis in the mountains or easy access to the beaches on the coast.

There is a large swimming pool which is kept as you would expect a stone throw away. A very relaxing location indeed.

A great retreat away from any crowds. (you will need a car)

Wonderful apartment, wonderful holiday

I have to say that this apartment was one of the most stylish, comfortable and clean apartments we have ever stayed in and we really didn't want to come home. We loved everything about it to the quality furnishings, 2 large terraces, the wonderful location and the kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. We both love cooking and have never rented anywhere with a better equipped kitchen. We especially loved the Mercadona supermarket at the bottom of the hill which stocked everything at such great prices and had an amazing fish and meat counter. I also loved the cosmetics there, which were so cheap. Try the sea bream (dorada) and peel and eat prawns. The best restaurant we visited was Cabana Nagueles in Marbella, The steak was amazing but they serve fish too. Vera was a delight to deal with, from the initial booking to our return home and Maggie who manages the apartment was also lovely. We cannot wait to return to this little piece of paradise and thank Vera and Ernst for our stay in their wonderful home. Marcia and Kevin.

Wonderful, relaxing holiday at this apartment

Lovely luxury apartment. 2 large terraces to enjoy breakfast in the morning on one and move round for drinks on the other later in the evening and to watch the sunset was wonderful. Very quiet location although this may have been due to the fact that most of the apartment complex was unoccupied when we were there. This is also proably the reason why the pool closest to the apartment was out of action due to a broken pump which was going to be fixed the day after our arrival but had still not been done when we left. This did not detract too much from the holiday as there was another pool relatively close by to use. Easy to book the apartment and the owners were very efficient. Provided us with lots of useful information before we went and there is a book in the apartment full of ideas and places to eat from previous visitors. Good location for the restaurants in Benahavis. Go on a Sunday evening when the night fair is open and all the locals are out. However, go early and book a table and return later to eat when you have finished walking around. You will need a car to get to the apartment and get around in general. We visited Puerto Banus (eat in Tangos, expensive but worth it), Marbella and San Pedro (try Da Brunos for eating and Heaven Beach bar to relax with a drink on the weekend). We would definitely return.

Topwohnung für hohen Erholungswert...

In dieser neuen Penthauswohnung mit herrlichem Ausblick kann man sich wirklich erholen. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Hier fühlten wir uns von Anfang an sehr wohl und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Objekt liegt zwar ein wenig abseits und ohne PKW geht hier garnichts; dafür hat man aber auch alle beschriebenen Vorteile eines zwanglosen Urlaubsfeelings. Bis zum hübschen Örtchen Benahavis sind es nur 10 Autominuten. Hier gibt es mehrere Restaurants und einen kleinen Wochenmarkt, den man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte.

Wonderful !

Just back from a fabulous week at La Hacienda. The apartment is finished to a very high standard and very well equipped - everything we needed we found in a cupboard somewhere. It's without doubt one of the best apartments on the complex with a south-facing terrace for breakfast / lunch and a west-facing terrace to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets over the hills of Andalucia. The views in both directions are quite spectacular, with Gibraltar and the Moroccan coastline clearly visible on good days.

The booking process was hassle-free, and very good directions were provided (it's about a 45 minute drive down the A7 from Malaga airport). In addition, Maggie, the local rep, was very helpful in getting us settled in. On the complex, we had a choice of four pools but, as they were all fairly similar, we stuck to the one nearest the apartment. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go and explore the area !

It's hard to find any fault at all, but probably worth mentioning two things. Firstly, the complex is high up on a hill, about 3km from the main A7 (and any shops / restaurants) along roads littered with speed bumps, so a car is essential and walking out to a restaurant is not an option - you will need a driver staying off the sangria. Popping out for a pint of milk is not quick either, so you need to plan your shopping carefully to avoid wasting time.

Secondly, whilst the complex is virtually finished, more than half the apartments appeared unsold and there were only about half a dozen families on site - whether the pool would cope if apartments are fully occupied is hard to imagine - we'd advise you to visit sooner rather than later !

All in all we were very impressed with the apartment. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is looking for high-quality self-catering accommodation in the region and doesn't mind the need to drive to get to restaurants, shops etc.

Just 15 Minutes west of glamorous Marbella on the Costa del Sol, La Hacienda del Señorio de Cifuentes is set within 100,000 sq mtrs of unspoilt green belt with easy access to 14 golf courses including the famous Los Flamingos, La Quinta and Atalaya. The stylish harbour of Puerto Banus with great shopping, dining and night life is only 10 min away. 5 min up the mountains is the picturesque village of Benahavis with its wide choice of excellent restaurants. Relax on nearby San Pedro's beaches and promenade. Only 1 hour away is the exciting water park in Fuengirola for people of all ages. Visit the beautiful historic town of Ronda and the famous white villages in the mountains. Gibraltar with its Barbary Apes at the top of the Rock is worth a visit. Estepona is nearby with SELWO Adventure Park.

For watersport fanatics the wind and kite surfing Mecca of Tarifa is less than 1 hr drive.

Historical cities such as Granada, Cordoba and Seville all make for very enjoyable days out.

Golf: Winston Chuchill once said: 'Golf is a game whose aim is to hit a very small ball into a even smaller hole, with weapons singularly ill-designed for the purpose.' Nevertheless, golf is a sport that has become indispensable and helped make the Costa del Sol (or Costa del Golf as it is commonly known) famous as a Golf destination. Our Penthouse is located in the immediate vicinity of the most popular golf courses on the Costa del Sol, if not Europe. The development is directly above El Paraiso and Atalaya. Los Flamingos, La Quinta, La Alqueria, Las Brisas, Montemayor, Marbella Club, Los Arqueros, just to name a few, are just a short drive away. The sunny climate ensures that Golf can be played all year round.

Ski: Generally regarded as Spain's top ski resort, Sierra Nevada is about 2 1/2 hours drive away. The resort offers the best of both worlds - sunshine and snow, for skiers and snowboarders. With the highest lifts and ski slopes above 2500m Sierra Nevada ski area is snow sure. Over 25 snow cannons ensure artificial Sierra Nevada snow making covers 30km of ski trails, which equates to around 35 of the ski slopes.The area was declared a Biospherical Reserve by UNESCO in 1986. Ski season is normally from 1st December until the end of April.
