Perfect vacation spot for a family!

  • 5 of 5

In our family of 19 the age range was 14 mos. to 92 yrs old. There was enough space for everyone. the ouse & all its amenities were in very good condition and the owners, the warners, were available to answer any & all questions. Our family vacation was excellent, restful & plenty of fun.

50th Anniversary Celebration with 27 Relatives

  • 5 of 5

We live in FL so choosing a site for a week long "party" with family without personally touring it first was a daunting task. Terra (the owner) was very responsive to my email questions and put my mind at ease prior to arrival. Activities were a concern because our eight grandchildren (age 12-23) and one grand-niece (age 5) are used to very active summer schedules.

On arrival, the lodge was spotless, and Terra gave us an orientation tour. I had pre-assigned rooms so guests' arrivals (from 8 different states) went smoothly. We arranged the catered lobster boil on Monday, and the Paella bake on Wednesday from the owners and were both were spectacular. On Monday the dinner included a morning low tide beach walk and outdoor games for "the kids," which were well received. Many took a whale watch cruise, visited Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and everyone trolled Camden, Rockland, and Belfast to shop and dine. As this quite possibly was the last time we successfully assemble all adult children and grandchildren in one place, it was fitting to hire a photographer to capture the event. Everyone was thrilled with the location, view and accommodations.

Our stay at the Pine Lodge was amazing!!!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment I saw the Pine Lodge, I knew it was the perfect spot for our family reunion. The house was comfortable and spacious with plenty of room for our group of 23 people. The kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor space was unbelievable! We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the Pine Lodge enjoying the pool, hot tub, sandbox and play structure. With all of the amenities at the Pine Lodge, we certainly didn't have to leave, but we did and enjoyed many fun adventures in the area. We jumped off the pier into the bay, walked on the jetty in Rockland, climbed Bald Mountain and walked around the beautiful town of Camden. Overall our stay at Pine Lodge was fabulous from my first conversation with Terra Warner to pulling out of the driveway when we departed. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer!

We had a wonderful family reunion at Pine Lodge with 24 family members. The house is so much fun and filled with things to entertain all ages. From my very first inquiry of the house to Terra, I felt I had made a lifelong friend. She responded to my initial email within an hour and every time I made an inquiry she was there to help--she sent me pictures throughout the year prior to our visit with whimsical tales of her and her family. Terra also provided a notebook of things to visit in Maine. The downstairs of Pine Lodge is open, spacious, and airy with porches around most of the house. Terra's husband Don built the house and he and Terra have made it comfortable for large numbers of people to dine and socialize together. The kitchen is a dream and frequently we would have a dozen in there cooking at one time. We loved the lobster bake that they catered with us--complete with lobster and all the fixings and games and singalongs before the meal. It was well worth every penny for it. The yard is a dream for children complete with a pool, playground equipment for children, plus various yard games to play. We all enjoyed our visit and will look forward to returning another summer.
