We loved every minute of our stay!

  • 5 of 5

Agnes and John are the sweetest people you'll ever meet! They took great care of us during our stay and even let us feed their baby lambs. The property was clean, comfortable, and in a great location to explore the Ring of Kerry. It's off the main road and in a small neighborhood so it's peaceful but it's not too far off the main road to make it inconvenient. We enjoyed walking to Kells beach several times and the Thai restaurant nearby was very good. During our stay my husband and I renewed our vows in a sweet ceremony with just us and our two teenaged children in the front yard of the property. We hope one day to return!

Great introduction to Ireland.

  • 5 of 5

I selected this property for its' location, previous reviews, and quality of property compared to price. After selecting it, Ms O'Sullivan was very efficient at contacting us and setting arrangements for payment.

When we arrived in the area we learned that roads and houses are not identified by name or number. We finally stopped to ask a local resident who was walking down a lane for directions, and got our first lesson on how nice and helpful that rural Ireland residents are to strangers.

The home, amenities, and welcoming by the O'Sullivan's, went beyond our wildest dreams.

Absolutely Perfect!

Wow! The property is beautiful, Agnes and John are great and the area and opportunities to explore are endless! We wish we could stay longer! My bride and our three daughters enjoyed our stay. We played at the beach, hiked through the gardens and enjoyed a warm fire at night. Live music at Catin's in Glenbeigh, explored the Skellig's and hiked the mountain in Kahirsiveen and even snuck in Mass at Daniel O'Connell Memorial Church. So much more to do and we ran out of time. Thank You Agnes and John for making a memory that will last forever. We will definitely come back!

Stunning views and warm hosts

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here 4 nights at the end of May 2016. With 3 ladies there was a lot of luggage and we had plenty of room. Mrs. Agnes and Mr John were the best hosts! We felt like part of the family. The views are stunning and pictures can't do them justice. It was a great home base for touring the Ring of Kerry, Skellig Islands, and the Dingle Peninsula. They had lambs while we were there and Mr John let us feed them and our stroll down to the sea with Mrs Agnes was very special. Our favorite stay in Ireland by far out of our 2 trips there.

This propertys is fantastic, the hosts Agnes and John are the best

  • 5 of 5

It was the 16th of October 2016 when we landed at Shannon Airport. Well it was back to Ireland for me for the third time, every time I visit I fall in love with the people and this country again. This is the first time renting a property to use as a home base. My daughter and her boyfriends Aunt also traveled with me. This was their first time to Ireland. This rental home met every need we had and the hosts Agnes and John I feel blessed us at every turn and met all our needs during our stay. Agnes also invited us to their home for a wonderful Irish traditional supper. She also informed us our neighbors, also related to them, caught Lobster and crab and if we wanted any to let her know. We took part in both the fresh lobster and crab it was fantastic. This house had 4 bedrooms each with an adjoining bath, so we each had a special place to stay. I chose the bedroom on the main floor in the front of the house so my view every morning was looking over the bay across to Dingle Peninsula. At night I left the curtains open and fell to sleep looking at the lights of Dingle across the way. We had wonderful weather when we went there and a few clear nights. On those nights if you wanted to star gaze it was amazing. We were within walking distance of the beach, and not far from the house, was a place called Kell's Bay Gardens. The Gardens you can tour for a small fee and it is worth it. During the day you can get breakfast or lunch(authentic Thai food) at Kell's Bay. At night you can eat supper. It was the best Thai food cooked fresh by the owner's wife who is Taiwanese, and the owner has built the gardens much to the delight of anyone who comes to visit. Back to the home, every night we had a peat fire in the fireplace and sat and relaxed after a day of touring the surrounding towns and sites. We were there 2 weeks and this experience was the best vacation I've had in a long time. Again I'll let you know you will be blessed by both the home and the people who lovingly care for it and it's guests. Another thing Agnes kept us with fresh eggs during our stay plus peat logs and lots of smiles, blessings and generosity. Every view around this house is breathtaking and the accommodations are perfect. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in this area of Ireland. The house was clean and well maintained and your needs will be met very well. Thank you again Agnes and John for a wonderful stay and for using this home for our vacation.
