Lovely brand new 775Sqf one bedroom (purchased April 2011), in a full service luxury hotel with great amenities. Full kitchen (fully equipped), dining area (sits at least 8 people plus opens to an additional bed), living room with a fire place and sofa sleeper, balcony with great view, steam shower, huge Jacuzzi tub, and washer/dryer the property is new, spacious and comfortable. You can share a meal with your friends in a homey environment, in the comfort of your room, or have access to great restaurants and fine dining on property, right around it or in Park City. The Canyons is definitely the best place to ski and to snowboard, and the mountain is only getting better, with more amenities and new lifts. We love the comfort of the ski valet and ski services. They are very courteous, always drying our boots and having the gear ready for us very timely at the gondola. We can relax completely knowing that the kids are in a safe environment.

The kids club is great with a lot of activities and they offer good baby sitting services after hours in case you want to go out and party. We are on the mountain and we have easy access to Park City, with a shuttle service that has always been available when we wanted it, just make sure to call in advance if it is a busy weekend (paid service - daily $19.95 for as many rides and guests as you want, both drop offs and pick ups). The concierge will help you with the shuttle and with dinner reservations or any other requests.

We can truly connect with nature but still enjoy and feel pampered.

About Owner/Property Manager

Owners are hospitality professionals living in Las Vegas, active outdoor family with 3 kids and a dog and a passion for travel, ski, snowboard, hiking and biking. After many years of living abroad and traveling and visiting resorts across the US, Europe, South America and Asia they found that this is the place they truly love!

Owners speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Hebrew.

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Park City area

Location, location, location. We also love the services, the easy access to the mountain, the ski valet, the kids club, the beautiful facilities and of course the fact that it is driving distance from Las Vegas.

We actually own another 2 BDR villa in the same building. We purchased it on Dec 2010 and we liked it so much after staying there for few weeks that we decided to purchase another one bedroom villa on April 2011. We love them both and we use them both depending on how many people we have in our party.

We also own a one bedroom and a 3.5 BDR Penthouse at The Hyatt Escala. We love The Canyons.

Great Location within the property

We came to ski for a few days two adults one 14 yo.

Best thing about this property is its proximity to everything we needed!

Easy access to get out of the door and hit the gondola.

Great access to restaurants and the market!

Great access to the adult pool and hot tub area.

The condo was stocked with everything we needed and then some.

Really enjoyed our stay highly recommended.

Con- we choose not to use the ski valet as we observed it to be chaotic and not well organized. We felt our equipment was better cared for by just bringing it to our room and setting outside on the deck.

This was the 2nd unit we bought there, and we bought it after learning how to navigate the Westgate building (which is not an easy task). Regarding the ski vale, I am surprised with your comment since we always use it and never had a problem. It is true that one needs to know that on the first day you need to registered your skis otherwise they don't take them but other than this it is an amazing service that we love and use all the time. Old and dated

Unit exceptionally dated, far from clean, lacking in basic kitchen essentials. The cold water faucet for the tub didn't work reported it first day maintainemce never fixed it. Great location for skiing!!

Owner's Response: Hi Thomas, I am sorry to hear about your poor experience staying at our unit. I did get a message from the hotel the first day of your stay about needing to fix the faucet and I approved it immediately. I will follow up and see why it was not fixed. It is a shame you did not contact me directly so I could be on top of it as I normally do. As far as the lack of equipment, our unit is equipped exactly the same way as all other units at the Westgate and if something is missing they replenish. I will ask the manager to check the unit and see if anything is missing and replenish anything that is missing, I will also address with him the poor cleaning. Normally they do a decent job so it is surprising. Once again I am sorry we did not meet your expectation. If I could ask one thing is that in the future please let me know of any issue during your stay and not only after it is over. regards Rom

Very Convenient

This is a nice unit that is conveniently located near an exit and not far from the parking garage. The complex is huge and some units are a bit of a hike. We had interaction with the property manager over a maintenance issue and he was quick to reply and helpful. He worked hard to resolve the issue. I would rent the unit again.

This is a great place to stay for a ski vacation.

We stayed here in early December for a week, to take advantage of the early snow and low prices. It was great for the two of us. The unit is spacious, warm, and definitely the best bang for your buck, with great amenities! Two large tv screens in living room and bed room were great for relaxed movie watching after the slopes. We used the in-room steam room and hot tub every day. This unit has pretty much everything you need. Although, we did end up purchasing an inexpensive humidifier from Walmart, as there wasn't one in the room. The gym, indoor pool, and outdoor adult pool are just down the hall, as is the garage, if you have a vehicle. The facility also stores your skis/boards overnight and will drop them off near the gondola/lift/shuttle bus for you, if you dread carrying your skis. Although the resort is quite confusing to navigate, it's great once you get your bearings. Also, the unit is in a prime location to navigate the grounds. The restaurants and food options are just ok. But, since the hotel shuttle will pretty much take you door to door anywhere you want to go in park city, you shouldn't have any trouble finding the food of your choice. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect, beautiful condo for family of 4 with a dog!

This condos layout is perfect with updated amenities. Large kitchen table, well stocked kitchen utensils, deck over looking the smaller private pool/hot tub, and an amazing steam shower and jet bath.

Convenient for dogs - close to exit door to run out with them right up the ski slopes! Given we had dogs we parked in the dirt lot in the back a few time which was super close to the room instead of in the hotel covered parking (thus not disturbing hotel guest with our dogs) In the summer this parking is overflow for the golf course; I assume it is ski lot parking in winter and not available.

The overall Westgate has many perks, game room, indoor/outdoor pool/ nice gym/yoga and close to the room is the adult relaxation pool, sauna, and steam. All hot tubs were hot- the perfect temp.

Nice 4 mile bike path ride into downtown Park City. We definitely want to stay here again.

The only negatives about the unit is the ice machine in freezer didn't work and the pullout couch bed was a but uncomfortable for our 12 and 15 year old.
