|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Our resort, Palma Real is a small, quiet, beautifully landscaped community of homes. This is a very pretty, quiet place to vacation but at the same time a short 10 to 15 minute walk gets you to the best beaches, restaurants, shopping and nightlife Aruba has to offer.
Our townhouse is a very comfortable, well appointed home away from home. Everything you'll need for a comfortable stay and more is located within this home and the small, quiet resort of Palma Real. We often explain to people that when we're in Aruba, about 4 to 5 times each year, we want all of the comforts of home and so our guests enjoy all of the same amenities.
We are just a short walk away but if you'd rather not take your car then you can get to the beaches, shopping or restaurants even faster with the use of the 4 bikes (with helmets) we keep at the townhouse for guests to use free of charge.
If you want to explore the island, you might choose to sign up for one of the great island tours or reserve a car or Jeep from one of the rental companies close by for a day or two. Otherwise, just walk, use our bikes or the local bus service and save the rental car costs!!!
Free calls to and from the USA and Canada. We keep a phone in the townhouse that you can use to make and receive phone calls to the U.S. and Canada...... and it's FREE!!!
As I said the townhouse has all of the comforts of home: Cable TV and high speed WiFi. Free telephone calls to and from the USA and Canada. 4 bikes (with helmets) for our guests to use. 3 pools within the community (including the kiddie pool). 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms - sleeps 2 to 6 people in comfort. Of course all of the utensils, pots, pans, plates, glasses, silver and cutlery are available for your use. Also, our management company is very close by and so if you have any problems, they will get them resolved. We checked before we hired them; they're the best management company on the island and they're committed to taking good care of our guests in Aruba.
Be sure to take a look at our reviews. We're very proud of our guest reviews and we strive to provide our guests with a wonderful vacation in this great little resort.
If you're interested in getting a rate for a stay, it is a good idea to contact us after you get a rate from HomeAway or VRBO. Sometimes the rates they give you are not completely accurate (the software is figuring your dates and costs) and we also can sometimes show you payments methods that will save you money.
We have taken the damage deposit off of the 'rates' page. There is a $400 damage deposit that would be paid to the management company when checking in. The deposit can be done the same way you would pay a damage deposit for a rental car, i.e. putting a 'hold' for the deposit on your credit card and then it will be removed when checking out. We did it this way because if you pay the deposit through HomeAway or VRBO then your deposit is tied up until about a month after you leave.

We set a goal just a few years ago to own and manage a condo or townhouse in Aruba that we can enjoy ourselves but also make available for guests to enjoy as rental. We found this beautiful townhouse, went to Aruba to see it and just fell in love with the community and the area in general.
We really hit a home run here. We also met and established a friendship with the couple who sold the townhouse to us. They owned the home for more than a dozen years. As they're growing older they wish to spend more time in the states closer to family. They pointed out a lot of upgrades they've done to the property and they have taken incredibly good care of this home. We're determined to do as good a job caring for this home as they have.
Tom or Karen purchased this townhome in 2012
Our townhouse is located in a quiet gated community that is very close to the beaches and also the nightlife of restaurants and various casinos. When you're ready to 'go home' you have a nice quiet neighborhood to live in but you're always very close to the most active areas of Aruba for daytime fun or nightlife. We have friends who also have a rental property here and we noticed once while visiting that they had a completely 2nd set of everything; linens, dishes, silverware, beach towels, etc. We asked them why and they said that they don't like to use the same things that guests use. We feel that if it's not good enough for us then it's not good enough for our guests either; we DO use the same linens, dishes, silverware, beach towels, etc. that our guests use. When we notice something becoming a bit frayed or worn then we replace it, period.
Our guests have the free use of 4 bikes (with helmets) that we keep at the townhouse. With the bikes and because everything is so close by, you just don't need a rental car here. You can save the rental car money for other fun on the island. We're so close to everything you can walk or just take a bike a get there faster.
The townhouse has 2 master bedrooms upstairs, both with en suite baths. 1 bedroom downstairs with it's own full bath also. Virtually all of the comforts found in your own home can be found in this townhouse.
We have a 1 week minimum stay at our townhouse. If you were interested in booking a few days more than a week, we can quote you on that stay as well.
As an added bonus, we keep a telephone in the living room with an extension in the master bedroom. Using this phone you can make and receive FREE phone calls to the USA and Canada.
We also make an Aruba Cell phone available for our guests if you feel you'd like a cell phone. All you have to do is go to any supermarket or convenience store and buy some minutes for the phone. $10 or so is probably all you'll need.

The property was well maintained and clean. Its location was ideal as close to plenty of eating places, an excellent supermarket and not far from the beaches. We used the pool each day and this was clean and well looked after. We had hired a car so it was easy to get about Aruba. The bikes at the townhouse were used and also a marvellous rucksack/cool bag was used more than once. We were able to visit plenty of beaches with our favourite being Baby Beach. My family was able to snorkel and on two occasions went on deep sea fishing trips catching mahi mahi, tuna and barracuda. The weather was hot all the time we were there. I can't recommend this property enough - it was more than I could have hoped for.
We were an adult family of 4. Three bedrooms and three baths made for a very spacious and comfortable 8 night stay. The unit was very well and thoughtfully equipped. Bikes, beach chairs, water floaties, snorkels etc. were a pleasant surprise. We walked Palm beach each morning and adventured around to other areas and beaches of the island during the day and also enjoyed the pool and conversations with other vacationers and residents of Palma Real. We were met upon arrival at the unit by very helpful and informative property managers - that were available if any issues with the rental. We had none. We felt safe staying there and the security staff were all friendly. Everyone in Aruba was - by the way. We enjoyed a few meals in and a number of fabulous meals and happy hours in restaurants near by. The owners are great communicators and clearly caring and involved with their unit. Great experience and we would rent again.
The property was wonderful. Neighbors were friendly and made us feel at home. The place was clean and ready when we arrived. I understand totally the reasoning behind the allocations for water and electricity. We went over the allocations. My only issue was with the yard person watering the yard, although small, while we were there. It counted against our allocation for water. Guests should not be responsible for watering of the property.
Thank you so much for your support, care, information and accommodation !! We had a great time! Your VRBO is quite comfortable and we would definitely stay again! Vacation with a family can be taxing but with this stay it quite lovely and relaxing!!!!
This was our second stay at this townhouse, and it was another great visit. This home is so comfortable and well-equipped - it is a pleasure to stay here. The pool is great, the location is close to beaches and restaurants, and the security is good. Beds are comfortable and there are lots of nice touches - the house has beach chairs and a cooler, which come in handy. The local management company is very professional, and was helpful when we called with a small issue (resolved quickly). Owners are nice to deal with as well, and promptly answer e-mails. So, 5-stars all the way.
Tom & Karen,
This is a great place to stay. It has all of the ammendities you could ask for in a vacation home, you do not need to bring anything with you. The house is also fully equipped, full cable, wifi, air conditioning washer and dryer and a full kitchen. The kitchen comes in handy to cook meals as opposed to eating every meal out if you were staying in a hotel and it’s a fraction of the price. The place is surrounded by great restaurants I strongly recommend Wacky wahoo (Seafood restaurant a two minute walk away), the Local store is across the street and has great craft beers and free wifi, and down the road is a Dutch pancake restaurant which is terrific. The house is a five minute bike ride away from the stunning Palm & Eagle Beach. All the beaches are public so you can go anywhere you want just be sure to lock the bikes. I understand the attraction of staying in a hotel on the water, but I would much rather stay in this Condo. At the beach you can find jetskis, snorkeling and all sorts of water sports. I can recommend this place enough and I cannot wait to go back.
A very short walk or bike to 'restaurant row' where you can find world class dining in a large variety of restaurants. Of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, 2 of them are locted just a short distance from our townhouse.
In adfdition to world class restaurants within walking distance, there are also coffee shops and fast food restaurants very close by.
In Aruba with typically over 350 days of sunshine you're guaranteed nice weather for your vacation.
