Cozy & quiet

Clean, cozy rooms. Nice wood pellet stove. Enclosed outdoor yard good for dogs, though the woods & paths on the other side of the fence are off limits, as the many security cameras & no trespassing signs make quite clear. Across the street howeber is undeveloped land worth hiking in, despite the limited trails. The policy of having to contact host 30 min before arrival in order to get lock code is frustrating, as it means having to pull off the highway & accessing the VRBO app, since host’s phone # is disconnected. It’s doubly frustrating if the VRBO app isn’t working on your cell; in our case I couldn’t reach the host until I arrived & managed to connect to WiFi (only then cd I make the VRBO app work for some reason) while standing outside the lock in the rain. Host quickly responded & all was well, but it wasn’t the best experience getting access. (Just send the pass code to guests the morning of their stay.)
