2-bed, first floor, family apartment (sleeps 6) is located on the San Jaime complex overlooking the pool. It comprises one double bedroom and one smaller bedroom with twin beds, built-in wardrobes and ceiling fans. The living area has a large corner sofa incorporating a pull out double bed and chaise lounge. The kitchen/dining area and bathroom are fully equipped. There is a small terrace to the rear and a larger terrace to the front with gate for child safety.
The San Jaime complex is very close to the centre of the resort and only a five minute walk to the magnificent beach of Son Bou. They are set in beautifully manicured gardens with a large communal pool (with pool bar), children's paddling pool, tennis courts and children's play area.
The beach, the best on the island, offers excellent bathing and water sport facilities. The resort has a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. There is a play area and water slides.
About Menorca: Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands which lie in the Mediterranean off the South Coast of Spain. With a more conservative atmosphere than its sister islands, Majorca and Ibiza, it is ideal for a relaxing family holiday in a tranquil setting.
There are over a hundred beaches ranging from small coves to long stretches of sand. The longest beach in Menorca is Son Bou – nearly 3 km of pale golden sand.
Situated on Menorca's south coast and approximately 20 minutes drive from Mahon airport, Son Bou is a firm favourite with families.
About Son Bou: There is something for everyone in Son Bou. It can be relaxing but there is plenty to do, if you wish. The beach at Son Bou slopes gently down into clear blue waters which offer excellent bathing and water sport facilities. There are several beach bars and the usual sun beds and umbrellas are available to hire, as well as pedaloes, and for the more adventurous, banana boat rides and speed boat hire.
The beach is within easy walking distance of the centre of the resort which is made up of mainly low level developments and villas nestling into the hills behind.
There is a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops catering for all tastes and requirements. For the children, there is a play area, water slides and a 16 lane 10-pin bowling alley and amusement centre.
About San Jaime apartments: San Jaime apartments are ideally located close to the centre of the resort and only a short walk to the magnificent beach. They are set in beautifully manicured gardens with a large communal pool (with a pool bar), children’s paddling pool, tennis courts and children’s play area. The popular ‘Club San Jaime’ centre is a short distance away with water slides, supermarket, shops, restaurant and medical centre.
We had a great time and would recommend to anyone!! I have been to son bou before and it seems to have stayed the same - which I was pleased about. The apartments were fab and the staff more than happy to help.

The apartment is superbly located. It is south-facing so you not only look out over the pool but you can also see the beach. The apartment was modern and well equipped - it is well maintained.
The resort itself is really lovely. It is small but has enough high quality bars and restaurants for a 2 week stay. There really is everything you could need/want on your doorstep. Perfect for a stress-free holiday.
The owner was very helpful and replied to all enquiries promptly. We even got some top tips on where to eat which was appreciated. I'd happlily recommend this property
This has been my second time staying in this apartment and it never fails to impress me.
Me and my boyfriend went to Menorca on a budget and it still did not disappoint. The short walk to many shops and a bakery made eating in just as easy as eating out, especially accompanied with the lovely views from the veranda.
I would definitely come back, again.
Overall, it was the gorgeous, quiet holiday I was expecting. And this comfortable, modern property really makes it feel like a home away from home.
Lovely apartment with great views across to the sea at Son Bou beach. Just a small walk to the pool and all bars and restaurants just around the corner! The owner was so helpful throughout our booking process - it was so nice to get back to the resort where we had spent our honeymoon - 33 years ago - brought back happy memories and we collected a few more this trip.
We had a lovely stay here. The apartment was perfectly clean on arrival and has lots of thoughtful touches such as beach balls and some inflatables to use, ideal for families. It overlooks the pool and has a lovely sea view too. Son Bou is a nice complex with plenty of shops, family restaurants and a lovely beach. It really has everything you need there if you don't want to venture out too far. It was lovely to sit on the balcony eating breakfast listening to the birds. We would stay here again.
We had great two weeks in Son Bou. The Apartment is very nice and Gillian helped us with everything. For our son 16 months old the place was perfect. The pool is next to the Apartment, there is a playground and the beach is withing walking distance.
For those that enjoy walking, there is a 1 hour walk along a coastal path to Santo Tomas. The drive to Santo Tomas will take approx 15 minutes and a further 15 minutes to the picturesque resort of Cala Galdana. The resorts of Cala en Porter and Binibeca are also within 15-20 minutes drive.
The town of Alayor is the nearest major town, 10 minutes away. Mahon, a great place to visit is 20 minutes away.
For golfers, the resort of Son Parc is on the north west side of the island but is within 30 minutes drive.
