4BR cabin w private hot tub in Rendezvous, avail Dec. 24, 2023 - Jan 2, 2024

This beautifully appointed cabin (2200 square feet) is located in the Rendezvous development and backs onto a meadow with a cross country ski trail. It is two miles from Winter Park restaurants and shops and just four miles from the Winter Park ski area. The free Winter Park ski bus has two stops within the Rendezvous area. The Winter Park Rec Center is ten minutes away and Devil's Thumb cross country ski area is twenty minutes north off of Highway 40. Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park are within an hours drive. Note that Google Maps says Granby, CO which is incorrect. However, the coordinates on Google Maps are correct and so driving instructions are accurate.

There is a 2 car garage and a mud room in the house with a convenient area to hang ski clothes and store boots. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bath. Two gas fireplaces provide a warm, intimate atmosphere in the living room and spacious master. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a 3 burner propane grill on the porch.

The master bedroom has a king bed and opens onto the patio level featuring a private hot tub in a quiet setting 20 ft behind the house. The hot tub seats 6. The master bath has a separate shower and deep oversized tub. The first floor and upstairs bedrooms have queen beds. The 4th bedroom has twin beds.

The rental includes a fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels (including spa towels for the hot tub), hair driers, humidifiers and a washer and dryer.

The cabin is only rented during the winter holiday season and is our second home the rest of the year.

We have a strict no smoking policy and do not allow pets. Please bring slippers or good socks as we request no shoes on the carpet.

Cozens Ranch House Museum and Moffat Tunnel West Portal are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Byers Peak Wilderness and Arapaho National Recreation Area. Amaze'n Maze Winter Park and Vasquez Peak Wilderness are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as snowmobiling.

Wonderful vacation stay, summer or winter

Wonderfully located home with enough space for an extended or multiple family vacation. Having stayed at numerous rental properties where there was barely salt & pepper, having such wonderful amenities, like a fully stocked kitchen (truthfully the case!), humidifiers, streaming services, ample paper towels/toilet paper, and etc., makes you really appreciate it when a homeowner makes you feel welcome and well cared for. Communication with the owner was very prompt. Check in and out was a breeze. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Great Cabin!

We had a great time staying at the cabin while skiing over our winter break! Fit perfectly for our family and extended family. The boys enjoyed the hot tub after skiing and mom and I found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our evening meals. Great location in Winter Park - easy to get to the slopes and also close to the restaurants. Owners are very responsive if anything comes up during the rental period. Enjoyed staying in your home. Thank you!

Beautiful, spacious cabin close to all the fun activities Winter Park has to offer.,

We stayed here over Christmas 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed our week. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. Gave our family of 5 plenty of room to have our own space or meet in the family room for games and movies. Great communication with owner to make sure our every need was met! Would definitely recommend and book again.

We have lived in Denver for over 30 years and, whenever we can, come to the mountains for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and skiing. This cabin is our 2nd home and is rarely rented.

Why they chose this property

Having skied all around Colorado, we settled on buying a 2nd home in the Winter Park area because of the slower pace and beautiful surroundings.

What makes this property unique

We particularly like that this cabin is in the Rendezvous area with excellent winter maintenance of the roads. The house is set back from the road and overlooks a beautiful meadow. The hot tub is reasonably private with a lovely view of the stars during a new moon.
