About the property

Enjoy a short break in Boston in an elegant and historic building. Our building has recently undergone a $3m. renovation to recreate the splendor of the original Hotel Bellevue, in the 1890's. The location is perfect -- on Boston's famous Beacon Hill, in the heart of Government Center.

Our unit has hardwood parquet flooring, 13 foot ceilings, chandelier, floor to ceiling windows, bay windows in bedroom overlooking State House garden. Granite kitchen, marble bathroom, 2 Flat-screen TVs (45' in living room). High speed internet plus Wifi.

Step outside the beautifully furnished unit and enjoy the many restaurants, and cultural attractions of Boston. Relax on our large roof garden with views of the State House, Charles River, and Boston Common.

The central location of this clean and well-stocked apartment made being first-time tourists in Boston easy and enjoyable. The entire rental process went smoothly. We hope to return.

Felt like living in Boston, not just visiting. Lots of freedom to just go out andexplore, without the need to plan as much. Worked great for me and hope for you too!

"Location, location, location!"

  • 5 of 5

Perfect spot to explore Boston! Walk to many sights, museums and great neighborhoods! What could be better for an active 10 year-old than to have Boston Commons as front yard and playground! The apartment was great - very pretty and comfortable, and Jonathan very responsive to all questions.

Really, having breakfast with Lobster Tail pastry from Modern Bakery (North End) with my son...on gorgeous roof deck, when it's 67 degrees in Boston in February! It does not get much better than that! Thank you! We will be back!

Wonderful Boston home base!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is charming, very clean and updated, and a fantastic location from which to explore Boston. It's an ideal spot for a couple, or a small family. Jonathan is incredibly responsive and very helpful. I emailed him with a question, and he called me in five minutes! The apartment is a five minute walk to the Park St station where you can hop on the green or red line and go anywhere. You can walk to a dozen great restaurants (don't miss Yvonne's for an amazing small plates experience!). Food stores, such as Whole Foods, are a ten minute walk. And the roof deck provides a spectacular view of the city, especially at night.

Overall, I can imagine a better spot, and a more congenial host. We'll definitely be back.

Cool Spot, Warm Cuddle

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in here at the end of October and we really enjoyed our visit. I was just reflecting today with some friends at work about our time this city. Boston is fabulous and I would really recommend anybody who has not yet visited to put Boston high on your list. Jonathan's suite really added to the experience. It was comfortable and we felt at home and well taken care of. It was a safe place to land and a perfect spot for our short visit in the heart of the city. It's amazing how a perfect stranger can help settle you in a new land with kindness and warmth. The apartment was as described and Jonathan is a thoughtful and attentive host. Cheers!
