About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

Enjoy a short break in Boston in an elegant and historic building. Our building has recently undergone a $3m. renovation to recreate the splendor of the original Hotel Bellevue, in the 1890's. The location is perfect -- on Boston's famous Beacon Hill, in the heart of Government Center.

Our unit has hardwood parquet flooring, 13 foot ceilings, chandelier, floor to ceiling windows, bay windows in bedroom overlooking State House garden. Granite kitchen, marble bathroom, A 45" flat-screen TV in the living room, and high speed internet plus Wifi.

Step outside the beautifully furnished unit and enjoy the many restaurants, and cultural attractions of Boston. Relax on our large roof garden with views of the State House, Charles River, and Boston Common.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

Love staying here when in Boston. Apt is clean, quiet, and has everything one would need. Great location to visit all that Boston has to offer. And if tired of walking, the subway and trolley stop is nearby. Also don't pass up cocktails or eating next door at Scollay Square. Front patio was great to people watch. To cap off our visit was taking in a game at Fenway. A great visit and can't wait to return.

Great location, great apartment, great host...what could be better?

  • 5 of 5

BRought my spouse for a birthday weekend to Boston to see Fenway, the Freedom Trail and the Beautiful Trinity Church. Apartment is well-furnished and Joanathan thought of every detail even to a little mending kit that we needed unexpectedly. You will love the rooftop deck in the evenings, so close to the "T" you couldn't ask for more! We loved it!

This apartment is well-appointed, beautifully decorated and in a fantastic location. Walk out your door to the gorgeous Beacon Hill neighborhood and walk to just about anything. Jonathan was a dream to work with and we would love to stay here again.

A perfect spot

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four - mom and dad in the bedroom/son and daughter on the pullout couch in the living room - had a great time for two nights at this Beacon Hill apartment. You simply can't beat the location for exploring Boston: out the door to impressive State House; down the hill to North End and the new North End Park; across the Common to Public Garden; down Beacon to breakfast spots on Charles Street; Park Street station connection to all subways.

The apartment is old-world refined - where are you going to find two chandeliers! Kitchen and bath are attractive/useful/practical. A shelf in the bathroom rather than a second towel bar would be a good idea. We opened bedroom window at night for fresh air and used a cool modern fan too. City noise was the trade-off, but was minimal and kind of nice.

Doorman was helpful, convenience store three doors down, and a visit to the roof terrace at sunset is a good idea - great view of State House golden dome and views west across the Common. Jonathan was an attentive host as well.
