An all year round lovely holiday rental, 2 bedroom romantic apartment with beautiful large terrace. This apartment block has been constructed on the edge of a cliff, giving uninterrupted sea views, and complete privacy. The apartment is light and airy, and during the summer nights,all you can hear are the lapping of the waves beneath the terrace. The apartment is decorated in a contemporary design with marble floors and high quality furniture and fittings, and the communal pool has amazing views of the cliffs and the bay. This rental is luxurious in every aspect, and offers quality accommodation for couples, or families alike. The apartment is only 45 mins from Alicante, and only 5kms from Altea, with its old town full of amazing restaurants, and cobbled streets with artists galleries, and quaint shops. Altea, also has a clean beach and a buzzing promenade, without being too commercial. There is a marina within walking distance of the apartment.

Why Lynn Rawcliffe chose Altea

The sea views are exceptional and the terrace is completely private. the marina is a short walk away and has fantastic seafood restaurants overlooking the magnificent boats that are moored there. The pool, although is communal, is never busy, even at peak times, and there is a welcome breeze from the sea.

What makes this apartment unique

this area, although is a tourist place, is very spanish and caters for predominatly families, the kids are safe to play around the marina, whilst parents can sit in the sun having a nice meal. The old town is very quaint with great restaurants also. all in all, a very safe, quality area to have a lovely quiet family holiday

Location

Car: necessary

Nearby attractions are old Altea, beaches at Altea, Calpe. For divers, the cliffs opposite the apartment offer great diving with various caves. For golfers this area offers some fabulous golf courses, there are also great walks, and mountains to climb, for the more active. Altea town has great shops, and Benidorm is only a 20 mins drive away. There is also a marina, 5 mins down the road from the apartment, with great fish restaurants, and boats that can be rented out for the day. Although a car is necessary, the roads are easy to navigate, and all attractions are no further than 30 mins by car in either direction. The coastal road has tremendous views, altogether this area has a beautiful coast, which is not too over commercialised.

Clean and spacious.

Very secure property. We used the under ground garage which is accessed via a large fob activated gate. The property itself was clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with everything needed. ( eg. hairdryer, iron) The views of the cliff and the ocean were breathtaking. We used the pool daily and had it to ourselves most of the time. I would definitely return here and would recommend it.

Замечательная видовая квартира

Замечательная квартира с фантастическим видом на море. Мы практически мгновенно влюбились в эти апартаменты. Из квартиры море не только хорошо видно. но и слышно. Очень и очень успокаивает. За эти две недели, которые провели здесь,мы замечательно отдохнули от насыщенных трудовых будней.

Анита и Стюарт были очень любезны, встретив нас на пути в Алтею. У нас был собственный автомобиль, поэтому никаких проблем с посещением достопримечательностей не было.

Кухня имеет все необходимое, за исключением чайника. Для любителей чая это не совсем удобно, так как воду приходилось кипятить в кастрюльке. Но мы заметили, что в Испании чай пьют редко. Так что это скорее ремарка, а не недостаток.

Терраса, просто огромная. Она имеет красивую "живую" изгородь, поэтому снаружи дома не видно что там делается. Это создает приятное чувство уединенности, и в тоже время вы видите,что происходит вокруг.

Комнаты небольшие, кровати очень удобные. Сон отличный, утром никаких неприятных ощущений в спине не было. Кондиционер ночью не мешает спать. охлаждает быстро. WI-FI работает хорошо, скорость не очень высокая, разрывов связи не замечали. Для серфинга достаточно, для просмотра видео надо ждать некоторе время.

Квартира нам очень понравилась, с удовольствием вернемся еще раз.

Just what we needed

What a beautiful position for this well equipped and very comfortable apartment. A tranquil and soothing two weeks for us having had a busy first week elsewhere further south.

I would suggest that having a car would be of benefit which makes Altea and Calpe within 15/20 minutes. We had a car so I am not certain what other services, other than taxis would have been available.

This was a very clean apartment with very comfortable beds and sofas. However, when we were in the apartment, we spent most of our time on the comfortable terrace enjoying the beautiful views and sounds of the sea, as well as by the pool, which was just a short, easy walk away on the same level as the apartment.

A very pleasant walk of about 20 minutes could be made down to the local marina with its selection of bars and restaurant or, as we did mostly, the best selection of restaurants and bars were not far away in Altea and Calpe, where you are spoilt for choice and we always had very good meals at very attractive prices.

A particular thank you must be given to Anita and Stuart who put themselves out to meet us at the local supermarket and then guided us in to where the apartment was and explained everything about the apartment, facilities and local area. Luckily enough we did not need them at all until our leaving date, but I am sure that they would have been attentive if they were needed.

I would recommend this apartment to most people.

Thank you Lynne ...overall this was a fabulous experience and we will be back before we move over permanently.

SUPURB APARTMENT WITH LOVELY RELAXING VIEWS

We stayed at this apartment for three weeks and enjoyed every minute, the apartment was large and very comfy and the views were stunning. Breakfast on the veranda in sunshine every morning was a added bonus as was the help and advise from the agents Anita and Graham who were very friendly and had time for us if we needed any help with anything.

We will definitely book again next year.

A relaxing vacation in Altea

Perfect for a tranquil vacation, the property we chose, provides uninterrupted views of a vast blue ocean with only the occasional fishing boat passing by. Located between high cliffs, within a quiet little cove, you experience a feeling of privacy and solitude. It is very quiet, apart from the gentle lapping of waves and the occasional call of a seagull every now and then. The interior of the apartment is well maintained and very tastefully furnished to the highest standard. The kitchen is perfect for enthusiastic cooks, being very well equiped and easy to manage. On arrival at the apartment,we were met by Anita and Stuart ,a very pleasant couple, who provided excellent customer service. We enjoyed the use of the private swimming pool, which was exactly as described, as we were the only ones using it at the time!..

Within a short walking distance from the apartment we discovered the port, where we ate at excellent restaurants, overlooking the harbour. There are plenty of places to visit by car, we took a trip to Altea for the Tuesday market which offered a variation of goods, saw the beautiful old town of Altea and took in the breathtaking views from the peak at Guadalest. A trip to Benidorm was a must, despite the image most people have of Benidorm, the beaches are immaculatey clean and inviting, with crystal clear waters. In my opinion, equal only to seven mile beach in the Cayman Islands. It is a fine holiday resort. In April when we visited, it was relatively quiet.

Because the property is built on a cliff, it may be a little tricky for the elderly or infirm, as there are numerous steps to climb if going out walking. However travelling by car presents no problems as there is a lift which goes down to the basement garage, then out through the electric gates. The terrace overlooking the sea is furnished with table and chairs and provides a pleasant seating arrangement for relaxing over a leisurely breakfast. I would highly recommend this property and location to anyone looking for the perfect holiday. It was a holiday taken by us as a family celebration, and everything was perfect....I look forward to a return visit in the future.

There is also an extra charge for final clean of 100 euros, to be paid in cash on arrival along with the damage deposit, arrivals after 8pm are subject to an extra fee payable direct to the agents.
You will be met by our local agent on your arrival, to show you around the apartment, and to hand over the keys. at this time there is a cash damage deposit of £150, or 200 euros, which will be refunded on your departure if there are no damages.
