Ski-i Ski-out, and only 40m to the nearest lift, Les Croset is central to the Portes Du Soleil complex with direct access to the highest point of the network. Chatel, Champery, Avoriaz, Linderets and the quieter villages of Morgon and Champousin are easily accessible.
Les Croset is a small village with a supermarket, 2 hire shops and a few excellent restaurants and bars. The Sundance apartment block is less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest restaurant. Both apartments are fully fitted with with a dishwasher, surround sound digital TV and everything you need for a comfortable holiday. There is also a simple coffee maker, toaster, raclette and fondue for easy catering.
In the summer Mountain Biking, walking and horse riding are available
Summer Holidays Walking and Mountain Biking : Crosets is a fabulous area for a summer holiday. Right in the mountains it has two lifts working during July August and weekends in September for fantastic mountain walking or mountain biking.
Restaurants on the route down mean easy familiy days out.

We bought this for family holidays in Summer and Winter. It's a fabulous location at any time, with unlimited ski facilities in the winter and mountain biking and walking in the summer.
We bought it because it was much more spacious than similar apartments over the mountain in Avoriaz
Convenience - ease of access, Swiss construction all made it a great place to have an apartment, and then there are the views!!
This is quite simply a lovely apartment- light, spacious, beautifully appointed, warm, quiet and comfortable. There is a wonderful view of the Dents du Midi over the valley from both the living room and the bedroom, and we could easily imagine sitting on the balcony ( which was also very spacious) on a balmy summer evening.
The modern kitchen area is very well and efficiently laid out; generously equipped (we were delighted to find a fondue set and a raclette), yet with plenty of cupboard and drawer space for our own provisions. (We did not eat out, preferring to enjoy spending time in the apartment).
In the living area the sofa converted to a comfortable - and roomy- double bed, and was easy to handle; the beds in the bedroom were likewise extremely comfortable.
Internet access is an important consideration for us- and this worked well; indeed it was a pleasure to work in the apartment.
We did not meet the owners, but all previous contact with them was conducted in a very welcoming and efficient fashion; we were given ample information before our stay and on arrival received a very warm welcome from the Sundance receptionist who was most helpful throughout the week.
Regarding the appartment’s location- the Sundance building itself is situated at the lower end of Les Crosets. Although not technically “ski-in, ski-out”, access to the pistes is extremely easy; 50 yards above the building a short piste and poma join directly to the main skilift area; for non skiers it is a pleasant 5 minute walk past a delightful tiny chapel up to the resort centre. There is no light “pollution” ( if such a thing exists in Les Crosets) from neighbouring apartments, and on a clear night the stars above the snowtopped mountains are magical.
Our son went night ski-ing for the first time; a wonderful experience for him and the overall atmosphere from a non-skiers’ point of view was lovely.
The communal ski locker-room was convenient, warm and again very spacious; and all corridors and stairways throughout the building well maintained . The apartment was perfect for our family of 3 and a welcome contrast to some of the “fit as many people into as little space as possible” places in which we have sometimes stayed.
We most definitely hope to return.
We enjoyed our stay in the Sundance appartement . Good weather, lots of snow good skiing good food and fine wines
We stayed here with our twin 7yr old boys. Apartment very spacious and well laid out, well equipped and good location for skiing.
Excellent local ski school, nearby supermarket for essentials.

We had a wonderful week last December in Les Crosets. It was for the fourth time that we rented two apartments no 3 and 4.
They are very convenient apartments situated on the same corridor as the ski room and the lift.
Both apartments are fitted with all modern comforts like wireless internet and a well equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The apartments have nice bedrooms with fine beds that sleep well and a balcony facing the ‘Dents de Midi’.
For the rest you can make use of the sauna and the bar restaurant in the apartment building.
What we also like very much is the vicinity of the ski pistes. (ski-in / ski-out).
So ‘Sundance’ forms a perfect place for our ski tours in both the Swiss and the French ski area.
For us a place to return to next year!!

Only 1.5 hours from Geneva airport, Les Croset is at the centre of the Portes du Soleil ski area with over 650kms of pistes linking 14 resorts. Lifts directly from the village go towards Champoussin, Champery, Avoriaz and Linderets so there is always plenty of choice of skiing within eay reach.
Les Croset has all the amenities including skii hire, ski school, supermarkets and excellent restaurants and bars.
In the summer, the lifts open up unlimited walking and mountain biking trails.
There are hot springs at Val d'Illez and a brand new ice skating and swimming pool complex in Champery only a few kilometres away.
