The views from this fabulously furnished modern detached house are wonderful. Set in a residential area of Carbis Bay, Chy An Mor is within easy walking distance of St. Ives and the golden sands of Carbis Bay. A short steep drive leads up to the house, with steps up to the entrance, and as soon as you cross the threshold, you know that the contemporary styled home-from-home will be a sumptuous retreat. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor. The sitting-room is furnished with a modern corner suite to ensure the utmost comfort and encompasses a large window, with views stretching past Godrevy Lighthouse, up towards Padstow. Patio doors lead from the well-equipped kitchen/dining-room to the enclosed terraced garden complete with raised sun decks and additional sea glimpses. Up an open-tread wooden staircase, the spacious master bedroom is luxurious, as is the twin bedroom which boasts a little sitting-area complete with a television. One main bathroom and two ensuite shower rooms.

Fabulous house and and fantastic welcome

We have just enjoyed an fantastic week in this rental house and have had a brilliant time. When we arrived the owners were incredibly welcoming and had set out some gorgeous treats for us including scones, clotted cream, jam, fresh bread and the best carrot cake i've ever tasted...yum yum. A lovely, extra-special personal touch.

The house is very very spacious and can very comfortably house 8 people+. The beds are very comfortable, we have a super-kingsize Vi-Spring bed at home so am very fussy about the size and comfort of any bed we stay in but the one in the master bedroom was so big and comfortable.

The views from the property are to die for and the walk to the beach is just 5 mins and into St Ives is 20-25.

House is extremely well equipped, there's not one thing that it doesn't have. Truly like a home from home. We will be back next year without a doubt.

Elegant, tasteful home away from home

Absolutely beautiful house, gorgeous scenery and utterly utterly perfect. We had 6 of us in total (sadly one guest was unable to make it at the last minute), but it would quite easily and very comfortably host 8 guests.

Huge lounge, well-stocked kitchen (just as though we were at home) - bathrooms were fantastic!! Bedrooms were super!!

Upstairs rooms are new and virtually suites - one with a sitting room and walk-in shower! Views out to the water are mesmerising. All the beds were super-comfy with lovely linen - we slept like logs! Fabulous garden area with loads of sun. Wifi was a huge plus for one of our (workaholic) guests.

The house is in excellent condition, comfortably furnished, generous sized rooms with stunning views over the bay. We played Rounders on the beach, which is barely a walk away! Just wonderful. Every amenity was available, nothing was remiss. Obviously very well looked after - a credit to the owners.

Five star luxury. Although it is for people who don't mind stairs, it was all we'd hoped it would be and more! Everyone was thrilled!

I have already recommended it to a friend and am absolutely positive you will find no fault with this elegant spacious and well-amenitied cottage.
