Our condo, Whaler #502, is a two bedroom/two bathroom, ocean front condominium on the fifth floor of the north tower at the Whaler on Kaanapali Beach ... you can stand on the lanai, throw a tennis ball and hit the beach. It is large (1,950 sq. ft. including the lanai, 1,440 sq. ft. interior), can accommodate up to five people and has the following bedding: King bed - master bedroom, Two Queen beds - second bedroom. There is no sofa bed in the living room.

The Whaler is a luxury beachfront condominium resort located directly on World-Famous Kaanapali Beach, next to Whalers Village Shopping Center, on the West Coast of Maui between Lahaina and Kapalua. The Whaler offers spacious studio, one and two bedroom condominiums, each with a large tiled lanai. The units are Ocean Front, Ocean View or Garden View.

Our condo, Whaler #502, features a $150K+ remodel (and we're not done yet), central air-conditioning, a washer/dryer in the condo for guest use (many Whaler condos do not have a washer/dryer inside the condo), three color TVs (Samsung 60" TV in the living room and a Sony 46" TV in each bedroom), a fully equipped kitchen, free high speed cable and wi-fi Internet and more.

The perfect place to stay on Maui!

My (new) husband and I were fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at The Whaler, unit #502, for a week-long honeymoon. The condo was in perfect condition, clean and well appointed. The owner (Rick) checked in with us upon our arrival to ensure that we didn't need anything, which was a very nice way to start our week. The view from the balcony was exceptional and we had use of two boogie boards and two beach chairs. The unit was well stocked with toiletries and cleaning supplies and the ability to use the washer and dryer was perfect to prevent having to go home with a suitcase full of dirty laundry. Large screen TV's in the living room and bedrooms was a nice touch, but with the amazing scenery, balcony and the beach just steps from the building, we found all the entertainment we needed! Overall, our expectations were not only met, they were exceeded! Thank you, Rick! With luck, we will be back!

A Fantastic Oceanfront Condo

We've been renting through Rick for several years now and finally had an opportunity to rent his own Whaler condo. Magnificent! We've been in other Whaler condos through the years and can honestly say that the remodel Rick undertook really is head and shoulders above the rest. He has really thought of everything that makes a vacation at Kaanapali beach special - from the wonderful kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, upscale beach chairs, washer and dryer, cooler with ice packs, and that huge lanai overlooking the water. The views are spectacular. You won't be disappointed.

beyond up to date with remodel...............lacks nothing in kitchen......beds comfortable

always find shade on lenai even though west facing. Exceptionally well done on the remodel. Not so high (5th floor) that you can't climb the stairs (quicker and more exercise) and avoid going down elevator(longer to get to the beach)

Loved it!

We had a great stay at the Whaler #502. We loved the ocean front view and the location. The sunsets from the condo are amazing! It has windows in the front and all along the side. Loved watching the boats and people from the balcony and waking up to a beautiful view of black rock and blue water. The condo has large rooms and a large lanai. It has a nice new kitchen and is very well stocked. It had salt, pepper, foil, plastic bags, straws, etc. it was very clean and well organized. We also used the beach chairs and cooler. It was so nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. We loved the location of the Whaler. It is an easy 2 minute walk to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed walking to the Hyatt for Ululani's shaved ice. The grounds at the Whaler are very nice and well maintained. We enjoyed using the BBQ grills several times. We met some very nice and interesting folks while cooking. Rick, the owner was very nice to work with - very responsive and helpful. We have stayed in numerous condos through the years and this is definitly a favorite. I hope we get to return someday soon!!

Stunning views, beautiful Condo!

Our family stayed 14 nights in this Condo and had a fantastic vacation. The Condo is immaculate, well appointed and in the best location. The views from every room are stunning. The lanai offers both a spectacular view of the beach as well as the mountains.

We loved watching the ocean over morning coffee and had many great dinners alfresco. The kitchen is fully stocked with brand new pots, dishes and many kitchen accessories. The barbecue area is very well maintained-the grills were cleaned daily. We appreciated how close the grills are to the unit which made it very convenient to grill out.

The pool was great-never overly crowded. We were always able to get a chair anytime of day. Having the beach chairs, cooler and boogie boards in the unit was a really nice touch.

The Whaler staff is very courteous and the bellman were always very helpful.

We can't say enough great things about Rick's condo. We truly had the perfect vacation and hope to be back soon.

Hawaii Tax, $325.00 Cleaning Fee (check-in and check-out cleaning -- no daily housekeeping) and $20.84/night resort fee are additional.

Add $75/night: July 23-August 14, 2016. Add $700 for booking that includes any part of the period between July 2-10, 2017. Add $700 for a booking that includes any part of the period between November 18-25, 2017.

Check-out: 11:00 AM. Check-in: 4:00 PM.

Higher rates for shorter stays & non back-to-back bookings may be available -- please ask.

Discount may be available for stays >14 nights or last minute booking.

Holiday Season: 14-21 night minimum stay over the Holiday season (depending on arrival date). $995/night rate is for a December 16, 2017 arrival date only. Higher rates for later arrival dates -- add $65/night for each arrival day after December 16, 2017.
