A nicely designed and renovated apartment with high ceilings, wood floors and high-specification finishes, located in a stunning converted 1800's Victorian brewery (Grade II listed) overlooking a magnificent courtyard.

The apartment has a bright private living room with lots of light and a double bedroom, perfect for couples or families with full privacy. There is also a very modern, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub/shower. The apartment is about 58 square meters. The building has a very large communal roof terrace with a view of London, perfect for a bbq or glass of wine. The common areas and beautiful St George & the Dragon sculpture have just been carefully renovated.

Whitechapel is an increasingly trendy spot at the eastern edge of heart of central London (the actual historic City of London or 'square mile'), and the metro takes you to all locations in minutes.

Great Location: Just along the market is the Whitechapel Art Gallery (the most important modern art gallery after Tate Modern Art Museum), and Brick Lane (with lots of pubs, restaurants). 10 minutes walk away is Shoreditch and Hoxton's areas, which are the trendiest areas of London with its pubs, restaurants and designer shops. New restaurants and cafes are opening all the time in this area.

Transport: Excellent transport links and easy access: London is a big city - you will enjoy London more (and save costs!) by staying in the real heart and centre of London. For transport, the flat is 2 minute walk to Whitechapel Station. Stansted airport trains goes directly to Liverpool Street which is nearby, or you can take an express bus directly from the airport to the doorstep. London City Airport is 15 minutes by cab (also on metro system). From Gatwick, direct trains go to London Bridge, then a few stops on the metro. From Heathrow, the Express takes you to Paddington, and from there, one direct metro line.

Cozy and convenient stay in London

We stayed in Rolf and Mok's cozy flat for six nights in December. The flat is well-equipped for four guests and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Whitechapel Underground, which made it easy to access all the sites in Central London. Rolf and Mok were great to work with during the booking process and very accommodating with check-in. We did have spotty wifi during out stay, but they were immediately reachable and able to offer assistance and alternatives. I would very much recommend this flat for a great stay in London.

Great family apartment.

A really nice apartment that is well set up to cover all the needs of a family for a stay in London. It is close to transport,, supermarkets and transport. The apartment was clean with a fantastic kitchen and wifi. The building is set back from the road as it has a large courtyard in front with residents only access through a locked gate. Giving it a really "safe" feel in a busy part of London. We were even invited to a residents. Christmas tree decorating party in the lobby. The owners are helpful and answer questions by text. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family.

Ten minutes away from Tower of London and Tower Bridge

We were four people stayed in this apartment for 5 days. The apartment is very clean and looks new. The owner Rolf is a great guy, he gave us a lot of information about the area through email and when we met him at the apartment. He told us to call him if we needed anything. Our flight arrive early at 6:30 am, it wasn't a problem for Rolf to meet us early at apartment. When we arrived at the apartment he was there waiting for us. The apartment had one double bed (two can sleep on it), sofa bed (its double bed, so two can sleep on it) and a single bed that can be folded.

The apartment is in safe area and there are a lot of restaurant around it. There is a big supermarket behind the apartment, its almost the size of Walmart. Its great to have supermarket very close, it helped great with our stay in London.

In London the train system is very important because it can take you any where in London faster than a car. The underground train is only about 3 to 5 minute walk. The Tower of London is only 10 minute ride with the train and Lesicester Square is about 30 minute ride with train. I need to go to the Excel Convention in London for my work, so it's about 40 minute ride with the train.

Overall, The location was great, it was clean, great customer service from the owner, and I would recommend this property to friends and relative.

Smart, clean, tidy apartment, loads of charater

There were 4 of us, two adults and two kids, this was a great apartment, really nicely decorated and fitted out, no scrimping at all, really nicely done, lovely details. I would recommend this, it's close to the underground, but just outside congestion charge area if you are driving there. The Gherkin is just in front of you and you are minutes from Tower Bridge by foot, and by underground right on the district line so really quick to get to the London Eye, Big Ben etc. Importantly, Mok and Rolf were great, really good communications, and so helpful, these are owners who genuinely look after their guests. Would recommend.

Maravilloso y muy bien situado

Hemos pasado tres noches en este apartamento estupendo.

Es muy cómodo y limpio y está muy bien situado, con paradas de metro y autobús junto a la casa, aunque no es necesario desplazarse mucho para recorrer lugares con tanto encanto como Brick Lane o la zona de Shoreditch con unos mercados y un ambiente espectacular.

Puedes ir andando hasta Oxford street y dar un paseo por el Soho atravesando la City si tienes ganas de dar un paseo más largo, nosotras lo hicimos y es una ruta muy recomendable.

Cerca del apartamento hay restaurantes, tiendas y todo lo que puedes necesitar para tener una estancia perfecta.

Además, sus propietarios, Mok y Rolf son encantadores y están disponibles para ayudar en todo lo que necesites.

Volveremos allí, sin duda!
