About Chuck

I am a retired college professor. My wife and I currently reside in Oklahoma and are happy to share our house with you!

Chuck purchased this cabin in 2001

Why Chuck chose Red River

My wife and I bought this cabin as 'retreat from the heat'. We loved the convenience of being right on the outside of town and, of course, being right on river.

What makes this cabin unique

All that you need for a relaxing vacation in Red River.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Blissful

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was well kitted: games, utensils, towels and bedding.

It was also perfectly situated just off the water, and just out of town.

My family and I look forward to our next stay!

Only drawback: we were never able to connect to the Wi-Fi; which for our overall purpose was not bad, but we had three students with us and one

needed to submit work. Notification that Wi-Fi was spotty would have been useful.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your input!! Next time call us and we could have fixed it for you. Sometimes the router just needs resetting but it is located in another cabin. We look forward to hosting you again!

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

My kids really enjoyed being right on the river. The location is close enough to the town without being mixed in the busyness.

it was so nice to be right on the Red River. We enjoyed listening to it at night. The property was comfortable, the perfect size for 2 couples, clean, and quiet. We love the town of Red River, it was just the vacation we were needing.

Such a peaceful stay.

  • 5 of 5

Our family of six LOVED every second of our stay. The cabin was fully loaded with pots, pans, cups and silverware. You are literally right next to the river and it was so relaxing sitting on the porch while

listening to the river, as we drank our coffee in the morning and evenings. The beds had mattress toppers which allowed for a great nights sleep each night. We will absolutely return to Red River AND this cabin!
