About the property

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, outdoor shower, sleeps 8, fenced in yard, dogs welcome

Escape to one of Cape Cod's oldest towns and enjoy the best beaches Cape Cod has to offer. Located in Eastham, this charming Cape sits on a fresh water pond with a spacious fenced in yard and fire pit. Conveniently located within walking distance to the National Sea Shore Conservatory, The Whaling Museum and Cape Cod's bike trail leading directly to Coast Guard beach; voted time and again as one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. Enjoy the quiet, charming town of Eastham, its rich culture and breath-taking views by spending a week at this centrally located home; an old town feel while still conveniently located to Orleans for a day of shopping. Close in proximity to both the bay beaches such as First Encounter as well as the Atlantic; Coast Guard Beach. A day at the beach is easy as we are located a quarter of a mile from the Coast Guard Shuttle; pack a cooler, park your car and enjoy a shuttle ride to the beach without the hassle of fighting for spaces.

The end of a sun-kissed day...: After a day at the beach, come home to a spacious yard perfect for barbeques and late night fire pits. Relax on the hammock with a book, spend time in the sunroom or take your bicycle for a sunset ride. Looking for an outdoor activity? Grab one of the canoes or kayaks and enjoy some time on the fresh water pond. While cooking at home is easy and convenient, you aren't limited to dining in. There are a variety of restaurants for your choosing. Whether you like seafood, italian, pizza, casual or fine-dining, Eastham has something for everyone. But remember: there is no better way to end your day then a nice outdoor shower. Rinse the salt off while never losing a minute of fresh cape-cod air.

Day trips...: Looking for something to do outside of Eastham? You have plenty of options! Located within a half hour's ride of Provincetown, you can escape on a day trip that will take you back in time. Enjoy all that P-town has to offer with its old New England architecture, love of the arts and breath-taking views. The Wellfleet Drive-In is one town over and never disappoints! Have a love for the arts? Then Cape Cod is a wonderful place to be. Visit Wellfleet Harbor, Chatham or Provincetown and admire the local talent. Visit the Eastham Farmer's Market or the Wellfleet flea market. Drive the windy roads of Truro and experience their beautiful sand dunes. Whale watches are a fun way to experience the Cape Cod waters. See Cape Cod from a different perspective, enjoy the ride and try to spot some whales! Adults and looking for a night out? Check out the musical talent at local venues. The options are endless!

For your convenience...: Whether you are traveling from far away or close by, we understand that there is only so much space in that suitcase or car. That is why we provide as much as we can to make your stay enjoyable. At our home, you will find a fully stocked kitchen of dishes, silverware and glasses. The beds are made, no need to bring sheets or pillows unless you would like to! We provide a number of towels, however, bringing an extra or two can’t hurt. Beach chairs, boogey boards, Kayaks and a canoe are provided for all of your water related activities. Don't worry about having to over-pack as we have a washing machine and dryer right at the house. Our fenced in yard is perfect for dogs, although we ask that only well behaved animals visit our cottage. You will find an assortment of outdoor related games for your enjoyment: whiffle ball, frisbee, soccer balls and more.

Great Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We just came home from spending a long weekend at this cottage. Traveling with two picky teenagers and a dog. Arrived to find the cottage clean and inviting. Pictures do not do it justice. Vaulted ceilings make the space feel much larger than it is. Really nice layout, all the bedrooms have plenty of space between them. Cozy family room with a flat screen TV, big couches you can sink into, great kitchen with everything you need, plenty of room for everyone. Loved the fenced in yard. It was too cold to use the outdoor space, but we would have loved to use the fire pit. Great proximity to P-Town and Chatham. No issues whatsoever with the Wi-Fi or cellular service. The entire family (including the dog) give this cottage two thumbs up.

Charming, spacious, clean, quintessential cape house!

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The updated kitchen made meal prep enjoyable. The airy sunroom, firepit, and hammock were perfect! Plenty of space for our family of 5. A great location right by coast guard beach! Our only minor disappointment was they no longer have their boats for the pond. But Matt was readily available to answer questions and helped us find a place to rent the boats. Thank you Matt & Nora!

Loved this house. The decor was perfect, the location was ideal, the yard spacious for kids, and very comfortable. I'll try to stay here again if I have the chance!

Off Season Gem

  • 5 of 5

We had an excellent stay in this clean, comfortable, well equipped, pet friendly home away from home. The location is perfect with ease of access to Rte 6, but in a private, beautiful setting, with a sunroom, patio with outdoor firepit. and a Ministers Pond view from the back. The homeowner was very responsive and accommodating to make our getaway everything we hoped it could be. We managed to have a couple of unseasonably warm sunny days, but were just as comfortable when the weather turned more "March-like". Look forward to visiting again!
