Villa rental for up to 8 people, super location with mountain & partial sea view

This comfortable family detached Villa is situated within the acclaimed San Juan de Capistrano urbanisation in Nerja, an oasis of beautifully maintained properties and gardens. Well equipped and modern, it features 4 well-sized air-conditioned bedrooms to sleep 8 people, free wifi internet access and a large south facing garden and terrace. It is quiet and commands excellent mountain & partial sea views. Villa Sol Jardin has a floor area of 120 square metres and the property features quality furnishings and marble and tiled floors. The villa and terrace are all on one level. The living area and all 4 bedrooms have air conditioning and heating for the winter months. The shared pool is one of the best in Nerja and there is a choice of half a dozen restaurants within 500 metres of the villa. The villa is all on one level and with an enclosed garden it is safe for youngsters. A shallow paddling pool in the garden keeps children well amused. Nerja is a beautiful town and has maintained its Andalucian charm, but bulging with excellent restaurants & charming shops

Activities: There are a number of excellent beaches in Nerja.

Walking, cycling, golf, boating, diving, surfing, fishing, paragliding, tennis, water parks, horse riding and horse drawn carriage rides are all close by. In winter the Sierra Nevada ski resort is less than 90 minutes drive away: you could ski in the morning and go to the beach in the afternoon!

Within a short drive are Granada, Malaga, Marbella, Gibraltar and Seville

Transfers: The nearest airport to Nerja is Malaga, served by scheduled and charter carriers from most UK airports.

Car hire is recommended. From Malaga Airport it is mainly motorway and very straightforward, taking only 45 minutes. We provide comprehensive directions for our guests. Alternatively bus or taxi transfers can be arranged from the airport.

Great villa for a great holiday

Villa located in a quiet part of town in a secure residential area - very peaceful with great views if Nerja town. A Large communal pool within walking (uphill) distance where resteraunts and bars are located (and a small convenience store). Another popular resteraunt is located even closer, next to the bus stop that will take you to the local beach and the heart of town, where you can take the land train to the much recommended caves nearby.

Can also recommend Bar Nena (300m downhill) where the locals go to unwind and where the brilliant tapas materialise ever 10 minutes - great for trying to get to feel the real Spain and learn the language.

The Tuesday market and Sunday flea markets are also within a short walk away.

The villa was perfect for us and as described with everything catered for, making our stay a real home from home feel.

Rooms were large, clean and all had air- conditioning!!

The veranda was great for night-time drinks and card games. Everyone enjoyed the facilities and the local attractions - age range 13 to 82 yrs old. Can totally recommend this villa and many thanks to John and Lesley for making the villa availble to us and for making the administration so easy and seamless.

Just back from a lovely relaxing 10 day break at Villa Sol Jardin. Great villa in a super location. The terrace and garden have a wonderful sunny aspect. San Juan de Capistrano is perfect. Great pool area. Restaurant and shops close by. Really well maintained and spotlessly clean. Nerja is beautiful. The property manager for the villa, Dimitry, was very helpful and easy to deal with. All in all, a hassle free rental from booking to departure. We would definitely return.

Excellent Villa in San Juan

Stayed here with several family members for 10 nights in October 2014 - a very spacious villa with everything you could possibly require, including a fabulous terrace and great sized garden. This is our fourth holiday on San Juan and the location of the villa is ideal for the the shop, pool and bars as well as the bus-stop into town. We hope to be back in the not to distant future. The Petrie family.

Fantastic accomodation and excellent service

A group of us recently spent a week at the villa and had a fantatsic holiday. The villa was spacious, clean and had everything required for a relaxing holiday. Terrace and garden fabulous. We found the service received from the owners great, with lots of advice and information provided when requested.The resort of Nerja is beautiful with plenty bars and lovely restraunts. Would definitely recommend this for a relaxing holiday.

Nerja is at the eastern end of the Costa Del Sol, 70 kilometres from Malaga Airport. Flanked by the mighty Sierra Almijara mountain range, this stretch of coast has a micro climate that makes it one of the best on the Spanish coast and provides dramatic scenery. With strict planning rules Nerja has maintained its Andalucian charm: the town centre features narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings, but bulging with a wide range of restaurants and a variety of charming shops. There is night life in the Plaza Tutti Frutti, but well away from the tranquillity of Villa Sol Jardin! The centrepiece of Nerja is the famous Balcon de Europa, a tree lined esplanade with panoramic views of the Mediterranean and Nerja’s beaches. There are some great beach restaurants, which cook paella on huge open fires. The magnificent caves of Nerja are a must see attraction.

Nerja weather is good all year round. Typical temperature highs range from 18C in winter months to 30C in July and August.

Other Activities: Winter skiing only 1 1/2 hours away in Sierra Nevada

Golf: The Costa del Sol features many golf courses. The nearest to the villa is about 10 minutes drive away.

Ski: Sierra Nevada ski resort is 1 1/2 hours drive away.

The spacious open plan living area features a dining table and 8 chairs, two large sofas, cable television including English channels, a home cinema system with CD, DVD and radio, air conditioning and a wood burning stove. You will find a selection of DVDs CDs, books and board games which you are welcome to use. The furnishings are of good quality and taste. Throughout the property there are electric radiators for winter use. Wifi internet access is included. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, ceramic hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. A comprehensive range of crockery and glassware can easily cater for 10-12 people. The villa is our family holiday home, which we use as often as we can. This hopefully reflects in its overall quality and the comprehensive nature of the fixtures and fittings.
