Nice Property...Outstanding location!

Your experience (public)

I recently stayed at this house with my wife and 3 children ages 14, 9 and 2 and found the place easy and everything was clean upon our arrival. Ted promptly answered all our questions so we were able to immediately start our vacation and we appreciate that! For anyone who truly wants to experience Siesta Key life this place has all the components and is in very close in proximity to all the key offers. We made great use of the kitchen and eating areas. The appliances were new and good quality. We used gems like Crescent Beach Market on the Key and Morton's Gourmet Grocery not far off the Key to purchase some really nice and local foods to stock that kitchen up for the week. We went to Big Olaf's for ice cream down in the Village every night. Weather like always in April was fantastic...not one drop of rain and everyday was a beach day. For anyone who likes fishing this place has a pretty cool amenity and it's a small fishing dock cut right into the back yard that is on the canal system there. We used live shrimp and caught small snapper and pompano...a couple of very respectable sized sheepshead quite a few catfish and a few stingrays. Was all catch and release and I don't suggest eating anything from there but it was pretty fun fishing. CB Outfitters (right behind Crescent Market) is a very good bait shop and the people are all very nice there and quite helpful to acclimate you to Florida fishing. I got a 3 day license (it's the law) for $17.50. Other than the beach...this time we went one day up to Tampa to Busch Gardens and the day we headed home we left the house early so we could make a stop at Kennedy Space Center. 2 very nice things to do there if you are driving. There are great local attractions as well in Sarasota as well but we had seen those before. One last thing I would like to say about the house and neighborhood that I was most impressed with and it's the overall friendliness of the neighbors. Everyone you pass always waves and says hi and that really does make you feel welcome! I would stay here again...

Wonderful Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this home for Thanksgiving week with my husband and two teenagers aged 16 & 18. The house is wonderful and very spacious with more than enough room for our family. We particularly loved the outdoor space which again was very spacious. The pool was fabulous and nice it was screened in so no bugs! We loved to sit outside and watch the fish jumping and the Kayakers passing by. We had a car but did walk into Siesta village on several occasions. It was an easy 0.5 mile walk for us. We enjoyed the fact it was very close to the village and bars, restaurants and shops but located far enough away to be very tranquil. We have come to Siesta Key many times and this was one of our favorite properties we have rented. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again. Thanks to Ted for offering such a lovely property!

All you could ask for!

  • 5 of 5

My wife, our 3 year old son, and my mother in law stayed here a week. What an amazing home and location! Clean, heated pool with screen cage...check. Super modern and clean home...check. 5 minute drive to Siesta Beach...check. 20 minute walk to Siesta Village...check. Very responsive and nice owner, Ted...check. Water views...check. We loved this home and would rent it again in the future! In addition to Siesta Beach, be sure to check out Turtle Beach and Coquino Beach. Both are less busy, but without the perfect sand. Something different though. Thanks again Ted for an awesome stay!

The guys at CB let me know that cos i thought was a feeding frenzy! Terrific location

  • 5 of 5

Nicely renovated home that's a quick bike ride to town and beaches. Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 kids.

The pool and outside areas are also really great, it was tough to get the kids to go to the beach!

Given proximity to town the location is very private and quiet, which we enjoyed.

Definitely worth a repeat trip!

Excellent vacation home. Fun for the whole family

  • 5 of 5

Ted, we loved staying at your beautiful home on Siesta Key. The property description on home away was very accurate. The house was modern, clean, spacious and easily accommodated our family of 4 with room to spare. The pool was beautiful and we spent quite a bit of time relaxing in the warm water. The "pool cage" and screened in porch area were my favorite and I spent a lot of time reading and relaxing outside. My boys loved fishing from the canal and we were very happy that there were poles in the garage. The beaches were spectacular and I can't even use words to do justice to the white sand and blue/green water. Parking for beach access was a bit challenging but if you entered a lot (we used entrance 7) and waited a little while, someone would leave the beach and you could grab their parking spot. We would highly recommend your lovely home to anyone who is looking for a wonderful, relaxing Florida vacation. You were easy to work with and provided great "customer service." Thanks for helping us make our spring break one to remember.
