This lovely Island Escape Condo is a upper level condo located in the beautiful gated community of Truman Annex-Shipyard. Location is everything.!!I No need for a car you can walk 2 blks to Duval Street, Fort Zachary Beach. Also close is Mallory Square where sunset is celebrated every night. Have breakfast at Blue Heaven visit Hemmingways House and have a drink at the famous Green Parrot Bar. You are close to everything. The Island Escape is a one bedroom/with flat screen TV, one bathroom with tub/shower, hair dryer, towels and linens, washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen that includes microwave, coffee maker, and blender for those yummy Margaritas.

The living area has a flat screen TV and french doors that open up to a large covered balcony. Read a book or just relax around the tropical foliage.This is a corner unit condo which allows privacy. The condo also has one parking stall right at your front door. The pool is steps away and beach towels are provided. The Condo is very clean and decorated with with tropical decor. There are windows across the front of the condo letting in lots of light and tropical breezes.

We are licensed & inspected yearly with the state of Florida and City of Key West for vacation rentals.

About the Owners: When not in Key West my husband and I live and own a business in Kansas. We have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. We have owned in Truman Annex Shipyard since 2001. After visiting a few times we fell in love with Key West and knew we had to own. It is a pleasure to share our condo with others so they can also fall in love with this beautiful historic city. After all these years of visiting we still enjoy and love this historical city.

The Truman Annex is located 2 blocks from Duval or Fort Zachory Beach. The famous Blue Heaven restaurant is 1 block as is the famous Green Parrot Bar. Hemingway house and Truman little White House is also very close.

Wonderful week

Great location for biking to the best beach in KW; near some of the best eateries too! La creperie, Virgilio's, and Jack Flats wasabi tuna 👍� best TVs for sports too! The Rum Bar is a must. The happy hours and 1/2 apps are endless ALL OVER the island! We cooked and ate our catch from our Gulfstream IV trip. The Tropic cinema is a must, just a block or so away.

Coffee every am on the shady porch with our yummies we bring home from The French Bakery on Duval.

The condo is very well equipped to support our KW temporary home 🌺�

Great location to everything Key West. Loved It!

First time to Key West for my wife and I. the condo was very clean, we'll stocked and cozy. The back porch was a great place to sit and enjoy the weather. The pool was awesome. An amazing location to basically everything you want to see in Key West. You're two blocks, an easy walk to Duval Street, but far enough off to avoid noise. It's peaceful and can say wothout reservation, my best vacation in years. Already planning my next trip and will stay at Island Escape.

Better Than Advertised

We stayed 5/6 – 5/16/17. It was great staying in the condo rather that a hotel. Location is only 2 short blocks off Duval. The condo was well kept and well equipped with all the necessities. Renting was easy with Jean (Condo Owner) and she goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need and she gives you contact numbers just in case (we didn’t need to use them). For dinner we enjoyed Blue Heaven the best (Just down the street. definitely try the Yellowfin Snapper on pasta). We hope to be back and will book with Jean.

Loved Island Escape. Best location with close proximity to everywhere. Covered deck was fantastic.

Key West is our favorite vacation spot. At Island Escape in Shipyard Condos, everything that we want to do is within a 15 minute walk. No need for a car or other transportation. The condo has everything we could possibly want, is the perfect size for two, and is always so nice and clean. What a great find. The only problem is that everybody else knows about it too and it is usually booked up a lot of times that we are interested in staying. I can't imagine a better location or place to stay. We love, love it here.
