Fantastic Beach House. Private and comfortably furnished for the whole family.
If you are searching for a spacious and private home that puts you directly on the the white, sandy beaches of Madeira, this is the place. With its unique floor plan, this house gives everyone in the group space and amenities that make it a one-of-a-kind vacation home.
The house is divided up into three private living areas, each with it's own kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas. There is a private beachfront balcony upstairs, and a large beachfront patio area downstairs. It's the perfect place for multiple families traveling together.
The two downstairs bedrooms each have a Queen size bed, and share one bathroom with an oversize bath tub. Upstairs, facing the beach, the Master Suite has an enormous four post King size bed, with its own totally renovated and spacious private bathroom with large walk in shower. On the other side of the house, the fourth bedroom features another very private bedroom with a lovely King size bed and shares a bathroom (with tub) with the fifth bedroom. The fifth bedroom is setup with two new Queen beds and is setup in a "studio" layout with a living room area and kitchen. There is an additional bathroom with shower on the upstairs floor. For extra sleeping capacity, there are three queen size pullout couches available placed through the house.
There are two full kitchens on the top floor, and a main fully equipped kitchen on the lower floor. Each of the three kitchens includes a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee-maker, and complete kitchenware. There is a new downstairs dining table with seating capacity for everyone, so big meals are not a problem.
Walk out the back door and through the patio and your feet are literally in the sand. The outdoor patio area has plenty of seating, loungers, a Gas BBQ, even a fire-pit. For more space and a little quiet time, the upstairs beach front balcony is perfect for your morning coffee and the view is just breathtaking.
For entertainment, there are flat screen TV's in every bedroom and two large 50" flat screens in both the upstairs and downstairs living rooms, DVD players, free high-speed WiFi, and free long distance and local telephone service. There are beach chairs, plenty of patio furniture, and even a good selection of beach toys for your pleasure. The house also includes a complete set of bath and beach towels, all linens and blankets, and a full complement of plates and kitchenware.
It's fully setup for the most demanding of vacationers!

BUGS, BUGS and more BUGS! Palmetto bugs are breeding in this house. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Palmetto bugs are also referred to as Florida water bugs. Expect to find several dead ones upon arrival, as well as live ones during your stay. We saw dozens of babies in the kitchen/laundry areas, so they are definitely nesting in the house. This issue could be easily solved by replacing the downstairs sliding door.
Downstairs Sliding door is impossible for a young person to open/close. The adults in our party even had difficulties closing the door from the outside. Not only would the bug population inside the house dwindle down to normal, but the air conditioning bill would likely be cut in half by replacing the door.
Upstairs porch is dangerous for little ones. There is a section of railing missing that most adults could slip through, not to mention a toddler could walk right through, falling to the patio below. The rest of the upstairs appears to have been recently updated and furnishings are in good condition. Old furniture was lying around that should have been disposed of. We used the base of a broken chair to cover up a large nail that was protruding from the upper deck.
Downstairs is in good condition. The living room furniture, the couches in particular, are in desperate need of replacement though.
We would have gladly paid an extra $100/night to have a working door and a safe upper balcony. The owners clearly have no interest in repairing the property, as many have been complaining about the issues with the door and porch for quite some time.
Having worked with vacation property management companies here in Florida, I am a bit concerned about the issue with the upper balcony. I did not see any licensing displayed, as required by the State of Florida. State requirements are that the facility be kept in clean, safe and good physical condition. The safety part should be a concern to anyone considering bring small children to this rental home.
We did not have the access code to the garage door opener and contacted company and they were there within hour to figure out issue and resolve with number. Left email with couple of suggestions after our stay was complete. The most pressing issue and concern was the ability to get the sliding door open from lower level to beach. It was almost impossible to open and close from outside, and very difficult from inside. Not that this is a big deal, but the garden person was there to cut shrubs and clean up exterior. He filled all the garbage cans with what he was cutting back and we had to just pile garbage bags on top of cans. We loved the location and the layout of the house, it was perfect for our guest and visit. Thanks
Absolutely loved our stay at the Yoda Beach House! The house is huge and the layout allows privacy for multiple families while still spending your stay together. We had a few minor maintenance Issues and each time someone responded and handled the problem within the hour. We will definitely stay here again! Beautiful house in a beautiful location!
Our extended family of 10 stayed at Yoda house and had a great time. There was plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor space. It was great to be so close to the ocean. We were there over Memorial day weekend so the beach was quite crowded initially. However during the week, it wasn't so busy. The house looks just as the photos show. I would recommend it for families or larger groups.
In love with this place! Plenty of room right on a beautiful beach!!! Sat out on the patio at night with a fire in the pit-awesome!!! The called the day we were checking in and said the washer broke but they more than reimbursed us for our minor inconvenience
