Enjoy the glorious sunsets from your beach front balcony set above the sand dunes and sea oats. Your condo has panoramic views of the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Intercoastal Waterway from all windows. Away from the crowded tourist areas, Sand Key is a quiet and tranquil beach accessible only on foot. This prestigious beach community has some of the widest and most private beaches in Florida. While only separated by a bridge from Clearwater Beach’s attractions, Sand Key is a serene oasis.
Lighthouse Towers is a premium resort style property featuring a heated pool and spa that has full sun all day long but open until 11pm for a late night dip. There is an outdoor kitchen with two gas BBQ-grills and a gazebo where you can dine outside with ocean views. For outdoor activities this double lot property also offers a tennis court also marked for pickleball and a separate basketball hoop. This is a gated community with a 24/7 security guard.
Inside, this unit is bright, contemporary and comfortable, decorated in soothing colors of gold, green and blue. It is has tiled, porcelain floors throughout warmed up with oriental rugs. The kitchen has been totally remodeled with white Canadian birch custom cabinets and Corian countertops. The appliances are KitchenAid stainless steel including a microwave, convection oven with flat cooktop and dishwasher. Keep your drinks cool in the brand new Samsung refrigerator as well as the new U-Line Wine Captain refrigerator. You will find the cabinets stocked with everything you need to feel at home including a Keurig coffee maker, traditional coffee maker, blender, toaster, full set of Chantal cookware and tea kettle, bake ware, Chicago cutlery and Crate and Barrel tableware. The dining table seats six.
The living room has spectacular views of the beach through the floor to ceiling windows and an entrance to the balcony. You will spend hours relaxing on this wide, covered balcony complete with a lighted, nautical ceiling fan, soft chairs including a chaise lounge, rocker with footstool, high top table with stools that sits four. When not enjoying the view there is plenty of entertainment provided. This includes a Samsung 65 inch SMART television with DVD player and cable TV through a Xumo streaming box. High speed internet is also provided. If you prefer entertainment without electronics there are binoculars for bird watching - the Roseate Spoonbill has been recently spotted on the property. For the musician there is a piano.
The master bedroom has a queen sized poster bed with a large dresser and armoire containing a hidden 43 inch Samsung Smart TV with DVR and cable TV through a Xumo streaming box. Relax in a comfortable rocking chair with foot stool. There is also a ceiling fan along with floor to ceiling ocean views and sliding glass doors to the balcony.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed with padded headboard and views of the intercoastal waterway. There is a lighted ceiling fan, writing desk, dresser, mirror, bench and a walk in closet.
The master bathroom has a large vanity with double sinks, separate shower and garden bathtub. Plenty of towels are provided as well a hair dryer. There is also a second full bath.
For your home away from home, there is a Bosch washer and dryer along with an iron and ironing board in the unit. There is no need to buy anything for the beach or pool. There are large beach towels, chairs, beach wagon, cooler and beach umbrella.
The building has two elevators. Lighthouse Towers is smoke free including outdoor spaces. Pets are not permitted for renters.
If you have a car, this unit comes with your own assigned parking space in the first floor garage. You will never get wet walking to and from your car in the rain and grocery and hotel carts are available for unloading luggage and groceries.
However, no car is necessary to pick up essentials, go to a great restaurant and have fun. Everything you need is a short walk from Lighthouse Towers at the “Shoppes of Sand Key” including Dunkin' Donuts coffee, an ice cream shop, nail salon and a convenience store. There are full service restaurants including Maggie Mae's for breakfast and lunch, an Italian pizzeria, Backwaters local seafood and bar and the famous Columbia Spanish restaurant. All the restaurants offer outside table service while you sit dockside on the bay. For shopping you will find boutiques offering resort wear for men, women and children as well as beach souvenirs. The Clearwater Community Sailing Association is a short walk away as well and offers sailing and kayak rentals.
Journey north over the bridge to central Clearwater Beach for additional dining and activities. At the Clearwater Marina you can chose from deep-sea fishing, water sports, dolphin watching excursions and sunset cruises including the famous Pirate ship. Clearwater Beach offers plenty of shopping, a 24 hour Walgreens, dining and dancing along with nightly celebrations at sunset on Pier 60. Stop by the newly renovated Clearwater Marine Aquarium to see Winter the dolphin, famous from the Dolphin Tale movies. Clearwater Beach is one of the best beaches in the country known for its views, white sand and the variety of activities for all ages.
You can avoid driving and holiday traffic by hopping aboard the Jolley Trolley, a fun to ride red and yellow trolley that runs along Sand Key and Clearwater Beach. The Jolley Trolley will also take you as far south as Pass-A-Grille, near St Pete Beach.
The Clearwater area is also part of the Grapefruit League for spring training baseball. From late February through early April, you can watch the Philadelphia Phillies play in Clearwater, the Toronto Blue Jays in nearby Dunedin and the New York Yankees in Tampa.
