INSIDE THE HOUSE

Nearly every room of this glass house opens on both sides to patios overlooking the untamed desert. Panoramic vistas thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows greet you at every turn. With the supremely private location, you can hardly see the neighbors on the horizon. Here, surrounded by the mountains, you’ll experience ever-changing light, deep silence, and a sense of privacy you’d never expect from a glass house.

The sleek, simple interior design always turns you toward the terrain. Even mundane tasks like doing dishes at the vast island in the kitchen take on a meditative quality. Dinner is a gorgeous affair whether you sit inside or barbecue on the patio, where the darkness lets the night sky shine. The high-end furnishings and amenities are additions to the great design. Note: There is now a pool and hot tub ready for your use! The pool features a 12-inch-deep reef section that drops into the 5-foot-deep end. This property is not suitable for children under 16.

The house was lovely and very well equipped with beautiful pool. Turnkey Management was just the opposite. We first booked another home in January. Shortly before our visit in April we were told the property was unavailable. Three alternates we offered, two of which were the same property. There were zero instructions left in the home for anything. They would not have even known if we were there. The office in downtown Borrego said open from 10 to 4. No one was there for the week and no one returned telephone calls. There was a lot more but with limited space let's just say they were the worst management company we have ever dealt with and we have dealt with many.
