Beautiful spacious home with amazing property and views

Our family of 5 spent 2 nights here and had a wonderful time. Catherine is a welcoming and gracious hostess and Maya (her dog) is super friendly and sweet.

The home is comfortable, clean and beautiful. We enjoyed walking around the large expanse of property, seeing the beautiful views in all directions, feeding the horses and donkey and relaxing poolside.

Catherine recommended a restaurant for us in a beautiful quaint mountain village. The home was close to Aix-en-Provence. We wished we were able to spend more time here!

One of a kind family estate and host -- beautifully situated and full of grace

We cannot say enough about how much we adore Catherine, her family, and her home. We are convinced the Maya (her dog) is the best dog on the planet (we miss her so much!) and that the estate is a treasure. The property is beautiful and full of surprises -- lavender bushes, olive trees, views of Aix and the Luberon hills. The ease of using the family parking space was an absolute delight -- even for our "monstrous" (for France) car size! Catherine was welcoming, fun, and friendly -- we missed her the moment we left and have not stopped talking about the estate, Aix, Maya, and Catherine. We want to move in right next door! It is a gift to be able to experience Catherine and her property, and we strongly recommend the experience!

We have got to get back here!

We received such a warm welcome from both Catherine and Myer the dog that if felt as if we were coming home. Built in 1802 as the families hunting lodge, the accommodation has been beautifully renovated and impeccably maintained. For us it was a slice of paradise. With uninterrupted views and situated in an olive grove on 4 ha of land, we felt as if we were isolated in the heart of Provence; in reality, we were a short drive from Aix-en-Provence with its amazing shops and restaurants and were given access to a free parking in the town centre. The accommodation had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and despite loving the town of Aix, we were hard pressed to leave the lovely modern pool and warm comforting sunsets. It was perfect for us as we had my parents-in-law who had their own private wing complete with bathroom and we shared another bathroom (and separate toilet) with our two children. Such a lovely time - cant wait to go back!

A wonderful Holiday at Beauchamp

Our American family of six stayed at Beauchamp this summer - we had a marvelous time!! Catherine did so much to make us feel welcome - from the moment we arrived we knew finding Beauchamp had been a lucky find. The home, gardens and pool are gorgeous - we knew we were staying in a very prestigious home, but a very comfortable one!. The parking lot in Aix we had access to made daily trips in for markets, lunch, museums very convenient. We loved having morning day trips and then returning home in the heat of the day to the comfort of the pool. The terrace was our favorite breakfast, cocktail and dinner location , perfect for viewing beautiful sunsets with a glass of rose in hand. Of course I must mention Maya who we miss terrribly!! - what a polite, friendly little dog she is. All in all a trip of a lifetime, our thanks to Catherine for making it so special and for making us feel like family.

Paradise in Provence

Beauchamp is a very special place, and Catherine is the most exceptional host. Everything about our stay was fantastic. There is no way to beat the location: literally a few minutes drive to the center of Aix, while being in the countryside. Sitting on a hill, Beauchamp has a beautiful view and the grounds are pure Provence: olive and fig trees, lavender, and the fragrant herbs make for a wonderful environment. There is not month that goes by without our 2 children missing their loyal companion Maya who was there to greet them every morning and say good night every evening. We almost had to dognap her! ;)

Though we spent most of our time outside with the refreshing pool, the many boules matches, and evenings grilling and dining under the pergola, the very comfortable and well equipped house has such spectacular furniture, paintings, and antiques, that you feel very privileged to be sojourning in a countess's country estate.

But you don't have such a wonderful place without a gracious and generous hostess such as Catherine. Who, from the first phone call to the almost tearful departure, could not have been more delightful.

Having lived previously in and around Aix for over 15 years, I know the area like the back of my hand. So as a visitor I had very high expectations, and everything from the location, the accommodations, the natural environment, and the reception all came together for a perfect vacation.

We will be back!
