This fabulous ground level, 4-bedroom, 2-bath, 1800 sq ft home with its own private pool and hot-tub. The open-concept living space features a kitchen with granite counter tops including breakfast bar. A casual dining area makes this a great space for entertaining. You have a separate office with WiFi and computer and 3 brand new HD TVs. Just move in and enjoy the luxurious space. Centrally located, it is less than 15 minutes from University of Phoenix Cardinals Football Stadium, the Jobing Arena and Westgate Shopping Center. Three parks within walking distance of home. . The Glenhurst community is quiet and safe. This property is newly renovated with new paint, carpet, and brand new appliances.

Getting around: Avondale is 20-25 minutes west of downtown Phoenix. It is a central location for travel to tourist attractions. For the avid golfer, there are several golf courses nearby, including the Wigwam Hotel and golf course. 1.5 miles away is the Coldwater Springs golf course. The property is 7 miles away from the Phoenix International Raceway where they have NASCAR races twice per year. The Cardinals football team and Coyotes hockey team play in Glendale which is less than 15 minutes away. There is a Wildlife World Zoo very close perfect for kids. Multiple grocery stores and other amenities such as pharmacies, Starbucks, and Blockbuster nearby. Shop at Estrella Falls, Westgate, Desert Sky Mall and Arrowhead on west Bell Road 20 minutes away on the 101 freeway. Tons of antiquing nearby. Also walking and biking trails near property.

Why our location: The heated pool is a big draw with its water fountain, dancing colored lights, fenced-in area, and the ability to swim at night. The hot tub is a great addition for relaxation. This location's spacious rooms is great for large families or groups. You won't have to fight over one TV with the 3 brand new HD TVs. Avondale is the best location to stay in the Phoenix metro area for access to other state destinations such as the Grand Canyon. There are baseball training facilities nearby, where you can get up close and personal with the major league players and pay only $10-20 to watch them train and play. Watch multiple teams train and play at different sites during training season, end of Feb, March, and start of April. Once you come to our location once, you will definately come back!!!

Who is most suited for this vac home?: This property is perfect for families with kids and large groups that want to experience what Phoenix has to offer. The west side of phoenix is much more affordable than the Scottsdale area. Stay in style at this location and save money to spend on all of the great activities nearby. Wheel-chair friendly with not a single step or stair.

Paul's rental property

I took my 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law and 5 grandkids to the Fiesta Bowl. We rented this place and everything about it was awesome. The house was just like you see in the pictures. Very spacious and clean. Everything was provided for our use. The host was very gracious and considerate. Close to shopping center, grocery store and golf courses. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. So did I. The owner called and checked on us to see if everything was ok. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Phoenix area, I would recommend this rental property very much. You will not be dissapointed. *****

Truly a HomeAway but with relaxing perks and special attention!

The owner values his property and it shows! He wants his guests to love it as much as him. So convenient to check in, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Of course the weather in PHX is amazing but having your own backyard to breathe it all in was perfect! Loved finding the snugly robes in closet as the mornings are cool; coupled with your own rich coffee and not hotel drab, it was enjoyed by all! We are foodies and we're actually there on a Wellness Convention, so finding Frys Market only 3 blocks away, filled with local produce, and wines was so fun! The mountain ridge feels like its a stones throw. Stay here, you'll be glad. The Millers

Just what the doctor ordered!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. It had more than enough room for the five of us, and had everything we needed to "move right in". It was easily accessed off of HWY10, which made our sightseeing, etc. a breeze. A nearby grocery store provided provided everything else that we needed to settle in, and enjoy our stay. The home was clean, as was the pool and hot tub. Paul, the owner, called us as soon as we arrived and walked us through any questions we had. With the current CAD to USD exchange rate, this was a little pricey for us, but aside from that, we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house!

The home was clean and well maintained...perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The bedrooms were perfect, the open concept enabled us to cook and eat together, and we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Paul responded quickly to our inquiries before and after we arrived at the house. The neighborhood was very quiet and we used a nearby park that had a playground.

Enjoyed our stay

This is a very nice four bedroom home with a spacious master and en suite. Another strength is the hot tub and heated pool, which provides the visitor a means of relaxation after a full day of "vacationing". The kitchen/living room area is well appointed and open concept and you will never get a feeling of being crowded in this space. We had guests while staying here and they felt very comfortable. It is located near a Fry's grocery store and very accessible to highways.

If you find yourself doing things in or near Avondale this is a great place to stay. Unfortunately, for us, most of our activities were in Scottsdale and related areas and found ourselves traveling quite a bit each day. Phoenix is a big city, with many parts so plan your trip well.

Thanksgiving Get-Away

This was our first experience renting a house for a vacation. Overall, it was an easy and positive experience. We chose this location so we could visit our daughter who is in the Phoenix area student teaching at a near-by elementary school. A deciding factor for this particular property was the pool and hot tub. The house, pool and hot tub were very clean and overall well maintained. Like any home, there were a few things here and there that could use replacing or fixing. I did bring those items to Paul's attention and he appreciated the feedback. None of the items negatively impacted our stay. The house had a nice open floor plan which worked well for our group. The beds all slept well. The grocery store was within a 1/2 mile which was convenient. It was an easy drive to and from the airport as well as to our site- seeing destinations - South Mountain Park for hiking and the Botanical Gardens. If we ever choose to vacation in the Phoenix area in the future, I would consider renting this house again.

Nice house did not like the camera's

The house was clean and in a quiet residential area near to a supermarket.

After a 20 hour journey to get to Phoenix it was nice to get to the house for a relaxing 2 weeks. The owner then phoned us to go through his check in procedure. This procedure involved the disconnection of several remote control CCTV camera's both in and outside the house.

We were disappointed to find that there were 2 camera's in the living area and 1 in the en-suite bathroom focusing through the doorway to the bedroom all plugged in. We were not aware of the camera's until speaking with the owner on arrival. Also outside the property there were various camera's. We understand these are for security but felt overcome by them all especially inside the house the 2 we thought were intrusive were

By phone the owner told us we could disconnect the inside ones and the tub and pool ones-this one needs a ladder.

As this property is managed remotely and outside the US it would benefit guests if there was an information folder on hand. For example how the tv works, garbage days, pool cleaning etc, rather than going through some of it on arrival

To assist with booking the presence of these cameras should be stated with in the house description so that future guests are aware of them before arriving.

Central location including the following: 11 bar and grills within 5 miles, grocery store 1/2 mile away and another 6 within 3 miles. Walmart Super Centre 2 miles away, Kohl's and JC Penny 2.5 miles away. Costco gas is 4.5 miles away and Target is 4 miles away. Walgreens within 2 miles. There are two main banks within 1/2 mile. Starbucks 1 mile away. A variety of cuisines within a 4 mile radius. Department store mall within 6 miles.
