Set on the unique and beautiful La Manga Strip (Spain's best kept Secret!) and considered to occupy one of the most spectacular and prestigious positions on the whole of La Manga Strip.

Our Luxury beach side upper floor apartment is ideally suited for families and couples alike who enjoy unadulterated luxury beach side holidays at reasonable rates.

You can swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean directly in front of the apartment (perfect for an early morning swim before breakfast!) Or you can swim in the Mar Menor to the rear, which due to it’s shallow warm waters make this an ideal environment for young children who want to swim or learn to swim in the sea , alternatively there is the private pool area which are all conveniently located right on the doorstep of the apartment.

There are Water sports of all kinds, Jet Skiing, Sailing, Fishing and Diving within easy reach.

For the golfing enthusiasts, there are numerous Championship Golf courses within a short drive, OR, you can just sit back on the balcony, relax and watch the world go by (Glass of wine in hand!) whist taking in the most beautiful uninterrupted views out to sea. The choice is yours!

Furnished to a high standard together with air conditioning and underfloor heating make this an ideal all year round escape.

The huge Balcony overlooking the Pool, Beach and Sea, make this the most perfect place for Al Fresco dining, whilst taking in the magnificent views out towards the Isle of Grosa .(Meal times will never be the same again!)

From the Lounge, main bedroom and kitchen, we overlook miles of uninterrupted stunningly beautiful white sandy beaches, out across the calming waters of the Mediterranean taking in the Isle of Grosa and the yachting channel to and from the Marina.

From the 2 large double bedrooms we also have the additional bonus of each having their own small balconies looking out over the Mar Menor towards mainland Spain.

For your entertainment, the apartment is also equipped with a 40 inch LCD TV/DVD player enabling Satellite UK TV and Radio channels.

For those requiring internet facilities, unlimited WiFi is now available on request.

The apartment and apartment block also benefit from being wheelchair friendly, due to the ease of access to the apartments, which are serviced by lifts to all floors.

As would be expected with high end apartments, the communal parts inside and out are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis by a full time caretaker employed by the owners of the apartments, therefore maintaining a much higher standard all round.

For those hiring cars or coming by car, there are plenty of off road car parking spaces around the complex.

A frequent bus service operates up and down the strip connecting you to such historic places as Cartagena and Murcia together with other great places of interest along the way. A stop is conveniently located at the front of the apartments.

A ferry crossing also operates from the Marina on a regular basis connecting you to Santiago del la Ribera with its vibrant weekly street markets steeped in traditional Spanish culture.

A street market also operates on the Marina, Saturday mornings, whereby it is ideal for all your superb quality fruit and veg needs.

This was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed in. The apartment was luxurious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed. It was home from home and in fact I could move in there permanently and not change a thing. My teenage son was so pleased with the wifi and choice of TV channels when he wanted to escape from the heat of the day (typical teenager!!). The location was beautifully tranquil and peaceful. The views from the windows and balconies were amazing. Everything was exactly as the description for the property but until you are actually there you cant fully comprehend it. Any correspondence I had with John, the owner was responded to immediately and was extremely helpful. Also Hayley and Tony who manage the apartment were very helpful and lovely people too. I certainly will have no problem recommending this property to my family and friends, even strangers who will read this review please believe me when I say this is an amazing property. If your looking for a holiday in a luxury apartment in a superb quiet, peaceful and tranquil location then this is the place for you. There is a well stocked supermarket close by should you wish to cook which we did because the kitchen was so well equipped and we could appreciate the views from either the inside dining table or the balcony table and chairs. However if dining out on holiday is your thing then there are some beautiful restaurants within walking distance at the harbour, there's even a Burger King!!! A bus runs regularly up and down the strip for a mere €1.15 if you wish to travel down the strip where you will find a range of other restaurants and shops. The beach was beautiful and safe with a lifeguard in attendance and on the opposite side of the road (Mar Menor) you could hire pedalos and jet skis there was even a large sea play area for kids. All in all this is one of the most amazing places we have stayed in. 11 out of 10 John !!

Hypnotic view with incredible unspoilt beach stretching as far as the eye can see

Just back from a wonderful 9 days in John’s apartment. Being our first time in an apartment (we usually stay in hotels or villas), we approached the holiday with an open mind. We were not disappointed!

This year we wanted a quiet and simple holiday and chose the ‘strip’ for its beautiful beaches. The view from the apartment is as John shows, it’s beautiful.

The apartment had plenty of space for our family of four, with each child having their own room. The air con was great and worked a treat at night. Linen and towels were provided and we had requested beach towels as well. As our flight was incredibly delayed (not flying Ryanair again!) we were most appreciative of the welcome pack provided by the housekeepers. Hayley and Tony were great at welcoming us despite our very late arrival.

John responds to emails swiftly, and is very professional in his dealings as are the property managers Hayley and Tony.

If you want a lovely apartment in a stunning beach front location then this is for you. However there are no beach bars or tavernas adjacent to the apartments, and the restaurants are a good 20-25 minute walk - not bad in the cooler weather but a long way with kids in the summer pre sunset. You need to be organised and have your own supplies in, heading back to the apartment to get ready to go out and watch the sun set.

This part of the strip is certainly where the Spanish holiday, there are hardly any Europeans which we found quite nice.

You get a front line seat at the beach!

There are no parasols in the apartment although we left ours as it didn’t fit in our luggage, so maybe you can use it?!

It would be useful to have an outdoor storage box on the balcony of parasols, seats etc that folks leave behind for others to use.

The apartment has a washer which is handy and nice furnishings in the family room.

It feels safe

We didn’t hire a car as we were doing a totally relaxing holiday, we flew into and out of Murcia

Buses are easy to catch I believe, we didn’t!!!

Request a late checkout if you are flying later, we didn’t and as the apartment is so popular we had to leave in the morning. We checked into a special hotel for the night instead!!

Would we return?

Yes we would

Just trying to decide if we drive from the UK and have an extended holiday?!!!

A wonderful find in a beautiful location

What a great find this was on Owners Direct. The apartment is lovely and we felt very comfortable and settled there straight away. Very clean and beautifully maintained and presented. The views over the Med are fantastic and we spent lots of time people watching from the balcony. Especially fascinated by the fishermen who turned up some evenings and spent all night on the beach (very quiet so no bother!) and by the beautiful sunrise and sunset. We loved the location of the apartment - on the narrow part of La Manga so not too many other buildings around the complex - and all the arrangements with John and with Tony and Hayley were excellent. Any questions were answered promptly and helpful and Tony and Hayley gave us a lot of tips on the area. We enjoyed the ferry trip to the mainland ( 5 Euros each way) and made use of the good bus service along the main road. The Marina with a good choice of restaurants and cafes is about a 15 minute stroll. Supermarket with excellent little cafe bar next door is within easy walking distance as well. We had a lovely relaxing holiday in La Manga, made special by this great apartment, and hope to be back again in the near future. Thank you John, Tony and Hayley for helping make our stay so enjoyable.

Lovely apartment couldn’t fault great position for our needs

We are only too sorry that you felt that we over charged you for the internet when you say others in the same apartment block don’t charge extra for this facility. We would like to reassure you that other owners in the block do charge a small fee like ourselves providing they have the more expensive premium internet provider, which is faster and more reliable than some of the less expensive service providers we ourselves have experienced in the past! As a result of our past experience we do prefer to offer the better service for an optional small charge to complement our Holiday Home high standards. We do hope this explains and thank you once again.

Lovely apartment with great views.

Everything is as described in the property overview but we only really appreciated how lovely it is once we were actually there. The location is very peaceful which suited us and the only noise at night was the crashing waves which you soon get used to (and enjoy).

Having a good Wi-Fi connection was much appreciated as was the Freesat TV with UK channels. The local supermarket is excellent and there is a good choice of restaurants within walking distance. It was generally quiet when we were there (April) but locals told us it can get really lively later in the summer. Everyone we met seemed friendly and welcoming. The bus was really handy, punctual and we used it several times.

John was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and Tony and Hayley gave us a warm welcome, offering some good advice and suggestions without being pushy.

Winter break relaxing by the Mar Menor

Beautiful Appartment with views over the Mediterranean and Mar Menor. Wake up to the Sun Rise and watch Sunset whilst having a glass of wine. It was very peaceful in February but should imagine extremely busy in the summer. The appartment has everything you needed and comfortable furnished. Thankyou for sharing it. Madeline and Tony

A truly magnificent place for families and couples alike, who enjoy unadulterated laid-back luxury beachside holidays .

The apartment is located within 5 minutes walking distance of the very Cosmopolitan Tomas Maestre Marina with its vast array of high class restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, banks etc.

If beach walking is your interest then you can walk for hours on the beautiful beaches from just outside of the apartment.

If sightseeing and shopping is your thing, the beautiful historic Port and Town of Cartagena and the bustling capital city of Murcia are well worth a visit.

Within a short drive is the world famous La Manga Golf Club Resort, where many of the World’s International football teams can often be seen using the 5 star sporting facilities.

If traditional Spain interests you, at the end of the strip there is Cablo de Palos a small fishing village, with its many excellent waterside fish restaurants.

Santiago de la Ribera is another must visit, which can be reached by a leisurely ferry service, operating from the Marina. Experience Spanish culture and cuisine at its very best.

Our holiday home is surrounded by white sandy beaches and clear waters of the Mediterranean and Mar Menor Seas, situated on the unique and beautiful La Manga Strip, reputed to have the best average all year round climate in Spain, boasting an average of 320 days of Sunshine per year!)

The region is blessed by the mild Mediterranean climate, temperatures range between 15 - 22C in winter. Summer temperatures vary between 30 - 40C. The average annual temperature is 18C.

La Manga Strip has a unique position in Europe, between two Seas, the Mediterranean Sea and the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor.

This part of Spain is famous for its salt lakes which has a major knock on effect on humidity levels, and as a result the air is much dryer than in other parts of Spain & Europe. The low humidity levels coupled with a mild climate, means the World Health Organisation have rated this part of Spain one of the healthiest climates in the world.

At certain times of the year, Flamingos can often be seen at both ends of the strip, feeding in the salt lakes.

The La Manga Del Mar Menor / La Manga Strip area.

We are located directly on the beach at the northern end of the La Manga Strip close to the Marina.

From here you can hire a boat, go scuba diving, fishing etc. There is also a ferry which sails to Santiago de la Ribera every 2 hours and a tour boat which sails into the Med and around the islands in the Mar Menor.

The Marina itself offers a wealth of international restaurants including French, Asian, Italian, Norwegian, Greek, Mexican as well as traditional Spanish restaurant.

The long promenades and boulevards make this an ideal location for the elderly or disabled as well as the most enthusiastic sports enthusiasts. In fact La Manga has something to offer everyone.

During the summer, the beaches offer a wide variety of water-sports, sailing, powerboat trips and scuba diving.

For golfing enthusiasts, we are approximately 20/25 minutes from the world famous La Manga Golf Club and many other renowned Golf Clubs in the area.

For beach lovers. Paradise found! The beaches in La Manga are just beautiful, the Mediterranean beaches and the Mar Menor beaches are perfect for family holidays.

Everything is within walking distance, plus there is also a good bus service operating up and down the strip.

There are also many traditional Street Markets used by the locals and tourists alike, whereby they are great for stocking up on really good quality fruit and veg at really low prices.
