Three completely refurbished apartments in a XVI th century historical house

Located in the heart of colmar, a few steps from all shops, museums and monuments, the house offers four modern accommodations that you can visit on colmar-holidays .com

Our guests can share a wide roof terrace with garden furniture and BBQ.

The house is located on a very quiet place in the pedestrian area.

To park your car is not a problem. There are several parkings a few steps away, and it is possible to park near the house for a while in the morning or in the evening.

Colmar is the best place to stay for visiting Alsace, Germany and Switzerland.

Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Basel are at half an hour from Colmar by train or by car.

Freiburg is 50 km away, and can be reached by bus or by car.

Vosges mountains, the wine road and its typical villages are a few kilometers around.

In december the Christmas market is at your door.

The four high range accommodations have been renovated from 2005 to 2009.

The romantic loft MANGO, on the first floor, is fitted for a couple.

The Suite CARRARA on the second floor and the duplex PIMENT on the third and fourth floor, are fitted for a couple or a family up to four persons.

Le large duplex HANSI, 100 m2, for large families or separate couples, can receive 7 persons in its 3 bedrooms.

Its 2 separate bathrooms and 2 WC guaranty the privacy of each family.

A baby's cot can be provided with out extra cost.

All apartments can access to the large terrace, 80 m2, on the roof of the house, on the third floor.

You can receive internet, by Wifi from any place in the house.

Rates depend on the apartment, the season and the duration of your stay.

They variy from 60 €/night to 150 €/night all tax and fees included, with a stay minimum of 3 nights.

Great place to stay to experience Colmar

I stayed in Colmar for 5 nights, specifically to enjoy the historic buildings, churches and charm. I was doubly excited to get to STAY in one of the historic houses (this property) which has been lovingly cared for and restored over the years by the great owners. The inside is modern, clean and fun and has all you could need (washer/dryer, stove, refrigerator, etc.). It is very QUIET at night, which was quite welcome. You could hear the sounds of the church bells, but they served to calm me rather than to distract. In the day, with the windows open, you can hear the crowd walking by, but since it is not near any streets or bars, it does not get loud at night. The house is centrally located between two cathedrals (can see both from the windows) and amazing buildings (like the Pfister house) are in the block behind this building and in nearby streets. It is a few minute walk to Le Petit Venise (the canal area). There is a crepe/gelato place across the street, chocolatiers, bakerys and all sorts of clothing stores nearby.

This property comprises the top two floors of the building (fourth and fifth floors, by American floor counting), accessible by stairs - so know that when you plan your luggage as there is not an elevator. It was perfect for me. The Monoprix (grocery store) was a two minute walk away and there were frequently little open air markets that sprang up in the square by the cathedrals near by, selling antiques or clothing.

Charlotte was extremely quick in responding and had great communication. She is really nice and was willing to help me find the things in Colmar that would match my interests. I had the time of my life and wished I could stay longer.

Great host. Great house. Great location. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Fabulous week in Colmar

Charlotte was very helpful and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. She also helped with parking locations. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with coffee, several spices and olive oil...thanks. (Couldn't find a spatula for flipping my eggs.) Washer and dryer in common area....nice.

We used the roof top deck for breakfasts and evenings and wine. Great view of the cathedral bell tower. (The deck is a common area...could use some tidying up)

There are plenty of stairs to climb to the Piment unit...not a problem for us. Suggest you add a guard rail at the top of the bedroom stair.

Had a little trouble with determining where the various recycling items went as the containers in the trash area weren't color coded or labeled. Hope we didn't goof up.

Great little pastry/coffee shop right around the corner.

Colmar is a lovely town. For a unique experience, rent a bike and ride to Eguisheim. Safe ride and only 5 miles from the Colmar station.

Perfect Colmar rental

For our first trip to Colmar, we found a perfect vacation rental, the Hansi apartment in Closerie St Martin. Colmar in March was full of spring blooms and Easter decorations and this rental property allowed us to unwind and enjoy the scenery in style. The house is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, the kitchen was stocked with every item we needed, and window views of the Place des Dominicans were amazing. The property was great for a couple or family with a car and very convenient to exploring Colmar and nearby towns like Eguisheim or Ribeauvillé on the wine route.

Closerie St Martin's multi-story house is roomy, very thoughtfully laid out, and is a delightful combination of traditional Alsace old-fashioned charm and modern, up-to-date convenience. Its two stories afford the separation and privacy sometimes desired by multiple generations with different sleep patterns up at different times of the day and night.

But the very best thing about Closerie St Martin is its location: only a few feet away from one of the most spectacular parts of old Colmar, and one of the prime tourist and shopping parts of town. After shopping or visits to museums and attractions, it was easy to return to the rental to unload bags and grab a cup of coffee. Parking is easy to find either on the street or in underground structures and is an easy walk, about 5 minutes from the unit.

The property managers were very gracious and helpful and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Closerie St Martin. Our next visit to Colmar will definitely include a longer stay at this excellent rental property.

L'appartement Piment est parfait : très clair, magnifiquement aménagé, très propre et très bien équipé! La maison est également très bien située, à deux pas du parking de la place de la Cathédrale. L'accueil de Madame Clog et de Gabriel a été très chaleureux! Lors de notre prochaine à Colmar, c'est chez Madame Clog que nous réserverons!
