Nice Studio Apartment in Chelsea
We had a comfortable stay here, and Michael was a very helpful host. Walking distance from Chelsea Market in one Direction and Hudson Yards/The Vessel in the other.
All around fine experience
Perfect in every way!
Michael’s place was so perfect! A lovely spot, and a great location. I loved getting to know the Chelsea neighborhood and the extra bonus is being right next to the High Line. What a beautiful way to start the day...with an early morning walk there. Michael was a very responsive host and was more than happy to tell us everything we needed to know about the neighborhood. Great place! Great host! My husband and I can’t wait to return.
My husband and I stayed at Michael's place and we fell in love with the apartment we didnt want to leave. Close to so many convenient stores and sight seeing. The water pressure was great the bed was cozy and the apartment building was WONDERFUL!!! We will be staying here when we come back to the city. Thank you so much Michael !
A very cute studio apartment in an up and coming neighborhood
This studio apartment is perfect for one or two people. The main room is a good size, and the kitchen area is compact but perfectly fine for a vacationing traveler. The furnishings are comfortable and well chosen, including a good sized tv with all the cable channels. There is also access to a beautiful garden roof, with couches that are made for lounging. The owner of the building, Michael, was extremely helpful (in particular, he booked a car to the airport for me and waited with me for it to come), as was the guide book to restaurants in the neighborhood.
The only downsides were that the apartment is a third floor walk up, meaning that I had to walk up and down two flights of stairs a lot (which was fine for me but might tire others), and the apartment is a little far from the subway (although far is a relative thing in Manhattan - the 23rd Street C and E station is about a 6 minute walk away, and the 23rd Street station for the 1 and 2 lines is a few minutes further). Also, the mattress on the bed is a little soft, although because it rests on a firm platform, the overall effect is reasonably firm. (Maybe a futon mattress would be a little bit better?).
Convenient & clean
Nice cozy & warm NY apartment. Quick walk to Chelsea Market, other shopping and great restaurant choices in the area. Owner was very responsive, courteous and friendly. Easy check in & check out. We would definitely stay here again!
446 West 25th St was a great location to walk to almost anywhere, and when the feet got tired; the metro, bus, taxi or Uber are close by to get you to your destination. The Studio was clean and very comfortable! Michael was very nice and helpful with suggestions. Additionally, if the weather is favorable, the rooftop deck area is an excellent place to hang out. Look forward to coming back!!
