We live on the Wirral and are passionate about Bryn Goleu. We have 3 girls who are now 24, 21 and 17 who have all got lovely memories of Bryn Goleu. We have owned the cottage for 9 years and have made many improvements. Each year we up-grade or improve an area of the cottage. We visit in school holidays and at least one weekend a month just for the break and to keep on top of maintenance and standards. We are always available to help with any minor problems you might come across.
Jenny Jones purchased this cottage in 2007
The views. the peace, the space. A time to chill with either friends and family or just sometimes on our own. We love the Llyn and in particular Abersoch. We are amazed how many people come back to the area time and time again and have their own fond memories from their childhood. We have many returning guests year after year which is a testament to the quality of the property.
Spacious. Far enough from the maddening crown in summer but near enough to drive to within 10 or so minutes. A kitchen you will want to cook in just for the views, fantastic patio to sit with your glass of wine or cup of tea. Enough space to not feel crowded even when 8 guests staying and a beautiful inglenook log burner in the fantastic lounge.
Wow, what a truly beautiful cottage.. Breath taking from the outside to the in.. The pictures do not do it any justice..
From the minute we opened the door we were completely in love.. If I could give 6 stars I would..
The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are so comfy.. The kitchen is huge and a great room for entertaining with the built in stereo..
The views are spectacular, you can see the sea on a clear day..
I dont want to right too much as I think the surprise of the cottage is amazing, let's just say you will not be disappointed..
Really didn't want to leave..
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share your beautiful home...
We will most definitely be back
The property and views are absolutely beautiful and decorated to a high standard. A real 'Escape to the Country' gem. The property is very clean and well maintained. The information folder provided by the owners made it easy for us to book a taxi and provided us with not only information about the cottage but also ideas for places to eat. The owners were really easy to get hold of via email or by phone which made everything easy. I would recommend this place to a friend and we are going to be booking the cottage again next year!
We could see as soon as we arrived at the cottage that it definitely lived up to the promise of the web site and other guests reviews. Having stayed in this area many times the cottage is definitely in one of the best places on the Pennisular in terms of the fantastic scenery and relaxing environment. 7 adults of a variety of ages and 2 dogs stayed in the cottage and we all really enjoyed our holiday. It's is easy to find if you follow the directions (one group failed to do this and ended up in Abersoch!) We had plenty of space in the cottage but spent as much time outside as possible making use of the garden and the BBQ during some lovely sunny days. Our dogs loved the long walks on the beaches and our Black lab found 12 tennis balls in the garden ! ( we left them in the toy box) The cottage is really well positioned in relation to Abersoch, Pwllheli, Nefyn etc. We also had a trip to the Zip wire at Bethesda which was highly rated by those who dared to do it.
We would definitely recommend staying at Bryn Goleu and have already done so to friends & family . We hope to visit again.
The photographs and description do not do justice to this property; I would wholeheartedly recommend it. The standard of decor, cleanliness, facilities, location, etc etc could not be bettered. This is a perfect place to relax and unwind and although we were three adults, there is plenty of space (including sitting and dining) for eight people. The owner was very helpful and friendly when approached.
We were all over the moon with the high standard of the cottage, down to even the smallest detail it was perfect. 100% a 5 star accommodation. The cottage is equipped with absolutely everything you would need and more. Perfect for everyone, couples, families, children old and young.
The location is ideal for a relaxing break, you really feel like you are in the middle of no where even though Abersoch is only a little drive away. Amazing views and surroundings so peaceful.
The owner is lovely and communication between ourselves was excellent.
We can't recommend this cottage enough, we loved our stay here and will be returning again in the future.
We stayed for 7 nights, only 1 minor setback of 1 bedroom bed linen not being changed prior to our arrival but this was resolved immediately by Bryn. We felt completely at home. Loved the added bonus of bird seed being available to feed them, also enjoyed watching the family of rabbits living in the garden. The location is idyllic. Bryn and Jenny should be very proud of their property. Did not really want to leave this most peaceful setting. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their stay. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Bryn and Jenny.
