This is a celebrity packed street with an average home price of around $10,000,000. Our kids are now grown and we have the chance to share our beautiful home with others. This is paradise and you won't believe the location. It is at the beach but with incredible privacy.

I want to give a little background, I lived in Malibu for over 25 years until moving to Calabasas in 2009. Last month I had a house fire in Calabasas so I needed an emergency rental for six weeks. I located this rental on VRBO, I had looked at a dozen rentals before choosing this one. My home in Calabasas is only ten miles from Malibu so looking at properties was not difficult and my insurance was paying for the rental so cost was not a factor. I could have paid 5000 more a month and my insurance company would not have batted an eye. I chose this property for a variety of reasons.
I met the owner and he was a great guy and very helpful when he learned my situation. He got his housekeeper in immediately to get the house ready and we made our deal on a handshake. I have never met him before and although I offered him as many references as he would like he declined and we quickly moved forward. I got the keys that day.
Now I know you are saying, its great that the owner is a good guy but I am coming to Malibu for a vacation, not to pal around with the guy I am leasing from. I agree 100%. Now let me get to the brass tax. The house is lovely, it is a 30 second walk to the best beach in malibu, not an exaggeration literally 30 seconds.. You have everything you need from a BBQ to surfboards, kayaks, to a HUGE expansive deck overlooking the ocean and the most exclusive beach in malibu. Lovely deck chairs & tables all along the deck to enjoy the spectacular view. Three lovely bedrooms two large showers, and an outside shower. All the things you need in your own house from silverware to beach towels to a fax machine it is all provided.
Ok drum roll, here is THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. This is malibu road. The MOST exclusive street in malibu by a WIDE WIDE margin. Every house on the beach not 40 feet from you is a 15 million dollar ( or more ) property. You are staying among the true malibu community. You are close to everything, the malibu shops, restaurants, malibu pier, EVERYTHING THAT IS THE REASON YOU CHOSE MALIBU IN THE FIRST PLACE. I am not trying to disparage other peoples properties but if you rent on Zuma beach or broad beach you are in malibu in name only. These places are 20-45 minutes from anything worth seeing in malibu and even further from other great places in LA. Malibu road is like Park ave in NYC, or Las Vegas Blvd if you are in vegas. It is the premiere address and THE ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE TO BE.
Excellent house for relaxing, going to beach and just sitting on patio/deck and enjoying the view. Open floor plan and comfortable. Owner very helpful with restaurant suggestions and things to do. Easy access to main highways. Great rental
