About Christie Corgiat
Our journey to Rioja Ranch In 1969 my grandparents purchased the ranch across the road and as a result my parents decided to leave Southern California to raise our family near them in Paso Robles. As it happens, my wife is also a transplant from So Cal, as her parents decided to leave Calabasas behind and raise their family on a piece of property just a 1/2 mile down this same road. Fast forward almost forty years later, my wife and I have the opportunity to purchase the property across the road and remodel the little farmhouse that was built in the 1950’s. Rioja Ranch was born. My wife’s vision was to create a warm and inviting home that had the feel of a Spanish ranch house. Our inspiration came from many places such as the Biltmore in Santa Barbara among other Spanish style architectures around California even brining some home from Morocco. All the floor tiles you see came straight from a tiny ranchero in the rural countryside of Baja Mexico. We discovered this authentic producer by following the distant smoke from a kiln up a small dirt road on one of our many adventures. Two months later we had two semi-trucks deliver us over 40 pallets of brick and tiles from our new found friend. We are blessed to be surrounded by beautiful vineyards while overlooking our piece of Huero Huero Creek and the many surrounding acres where our families built their lives. We hope that you enjoy Rioja as much as our family truly does and we are happy to have the opportunity to share with you our special place that holds many fond memories for us and our children. Enjoy! Randy and Melinda Redberg

Why Christie Corgiat chose Paso Robles
This property is exclusively unique and a gem among gems. A luxury villa on spectacular acreage and yet minutes to downtown Paso Robles with boutique restaurants and shopping. Rioja is perfectly located for views, privacy, wine tasting, golfing, hiking, wining and dining! The villa itself is charming and cozy with so many personal and worldly touches. You just want to take it all in. If you are feeling adventurous you can take a short walk to the cabana area and lounge by the spa and also enjoy the tennis court and basketball half court and all it's glory. A short distance away you may want to introduce yourself to our two llamas: Phoenix and Dakota, three donkeys: Rueben, Simeon and Benjamin, and about eight male longhorn sheep. Around dinner time the kitchen practically begs you to open a bottle of wine and cook a delicious meal with all of its amenities and views of El Campo Courtyard. Afterward you have your choice of indoor and outdoor warm and tranquil fireplaces to gather by. Are we enticing you yet? You should come and let us host you on this one of a kind luxury property. You can't escape the feeling of wanting to stay forever once you get here!!
What makes this Villa unique
From the views of the rolling hills and the sound of the rustling Poplar Trees...we were in love with this land. To be able to sit out on the many patios and courtyards and gaze at the red tail hawks soaring above and quietly stare at the pack of dear roaming around is just breathtaking. Many times we have watched the colors of the seasons change as we cozy by an outdoor fire and enjoy a bottle of local wine in the peaceful silence.

Great house and property!
We visited with another family and thoroughly enjoyed the house and property. Playing basketball and tennis was an added bonus!
We hosted family in town for our daughter's graduation from Cal Poly, and the property couldn't have been better. Lots of room, lots of kitchen space, and just a ridiculous number of activities to entertain our crew. Plus, the property is so scenic we got some great family photos. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
The house is amazing and very well kept. We had an awesome time and will definitely recommend this place.
This is an absolute amazing property. Very spacious. Very clean. A DREAM kitchen!!!
Trampoline was very fun. So was the tennis courts and the Jacuzzi. Only a 10-15 minute drive into town. only thing that I would add is a great swimming pool. But, other than that GREAT GREAT GREAT property
One of a kind getaway!
Everything about this property was so thoughtfully built and Christie is super responsive and a wonderful host. A true getaway that feels like a private resort with a feel for times long past. We would love to visit again, very special place with amazing service.
The property was absolutely beautiful!
We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect. We were a big group with 12 people and the house had everything we needed and more. The house was beautifully decorated and spaced out. We were able to cook full meals and dine together and one of the many large eating areas. The property itself was stunning. You are secluded yet still very close to town. There were areas to walk around outside and sit and relax and look at the views. Overall, this property was perfect! I would definitely comeback for another weekend getaway!
