Villa Ivrea is located at the northern tip of Cap Estate and boasts spectacular views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Designed by the American architect Dan F. Sater II and built in 2009 by Wayne Brown D/B, it offers all the amenities required by discerning travelers, beginning with luxuriously appointed bedrooms and social areas, together with outdoor features like infinity pool, panoramic verandas, pergola and terraced gardens. All four bedrooms in the Main House enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea or both. A large panoramic deck invites guests to enjoy the sun just outside their room, while an enchanting downstairs veranda provides the ideal setting for deep relaxation, outdoor dining or simply staying close to the pool and witnessing some truly unforgettable Caribbean sunsets.
Cottage: In addition to the Main House, Villa Ivrea offers a fully independent, one-bedroom Cottage that includes a full kitchen with nook, bathroom, living room, central air conditioning, laundry station and a veranda with a splash pool. It enjoys expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean and it is surrounded by an English lawn and a citrus orchard. The cottage is quoted if the traveling party is over 8 people ($125 per night mid and low season with rental of the villa, $250 per night high season with rental of the villa).
Gardens: The terraced gardens host an eclectic mix of Mediterranean plants, including olive trees, lemon trees, figs, date palms, bay laurel, jasmine, oleander and cypresses, complemented by tropical and native varieties of bird of paradise, cannas, bougainvilleas, ginger lilies, sago palms, mango trees and more. Most of the water used for the irrigation of the gardens comes from rain-water harvesting.
Nearby Activities and Services: The renowned St. Lucia Golf & Country Club is just a 5-min drive away, while a 15-min drive will put you in the heart of Rodney Bay with all its different attractions, including excellent restaurants, a world-class marina, shopping malls, pharmacies, post office, banks, etc.
Some restaurants we recommend: Spinnakers (Sunset Bar and Food on the beach), Memories of Hong Kong (Best Chinese in the Windward Islands), Elena's (Pizza like you are in Italy), Razmataz (Indian) and Big Chef (Steaks and Wine).
But all this is just the beginning, as the rest of this beautiful island awaits being explored by those interested in snorkeling, hiking, bird watching, scuba diving, sightseeing, mountain biking, deep-sea fishing, sailing and more.
'Saluti' from Villa Ivrea, a taste of Italy, where the enchanting warm waters of the Caribbean Sea meet the crisp waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the dancing lights of Martinique greet you from the veranda.

Villa Ivrea Owners purchased this villa in 2009
When our friend told us that she had chosen Saint Lucia as the ideal place to build her retirement home, after a nearly four-year search throughout the Caribbean, we had to come and see it for ourselves. From the very first moment we were captivated by the beauty, cleanliness and tranquility of the island, but what won our hearts were the people and their special attitude towards foreigners, unlike anything else we had seen during our multiple trips to other islands in the Caribbean. It was then that we decided to purchase a piece of land, build our dream home and make this emerald paradise a part of our lives. We believe Saint Lucia is gorgeous, but do not take our word for it: come and see for yourselves. You may not end up buying land and deciding to stay, but you will certainly get hooked on it forever.
Villa Ivrea was built in 2009 and it is located at the northern tip of the exclusive Cap Estate subdivision. It offers breathtaking views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea and it is just five minutes away from the St. Lucia Golf & Country Club and its fantastic 18-hole course, set within the scenic rolling hills of Cap Estate. The villa provides guests with luxuriously appointed bedrooms and social areas, in addition to outdoor features like infinity pool, panoramic verandas, pergola and terraced gardens. All this in a secure and exclusive environment that ensures privacy, tranquility and enjoyment. The elegant LeSport Spa & Beach Club is also close by and they are well known for their rejuvenating one-day spa treatments. Or guests may prefer to stay at the villa and have Maria, our professional masseuse, come by and treat you to a great massage under the Pergola, while listening to the ocean waves. Whether relaxing or exploring, Villa Ivrea is definitely the right place to call home while vacationing in Saint Lucia.
Lovely view of Martinique, especially at night. Very relaxing and with all the comforts. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The owner and staff are amazing!!! The views were breathtaking. It was close to the store and beaches only a 10 minute drive. Bertha really took care of us. Claudette answered any question we had and went above and beyond. We rent a lot of properties and the service here blew us away. My two year old daughter is still asking for Bertha lol. We will return to this property
What can we say that hasn't already been said about this amazing Villa Ivrea? From before we arrived and our communications with the owner until the last minute we left saying our good byes to Bertha and Claudette and all our new St Lucian friends, we were made to feel at home! We loved this place and the island and people of St. Lucia so much we are going back again this year and hope to make this our annual wedding anniversary destination. Thank you to Lisa for all your hospitality and your making us feel at home and special!
We decided to book this villa for our recent vacation only after careful consideration, as some villas in Cap Estate offer great things on their web site that when you arrive are far from reality. This being our 5th trip to the beautiful island, we wanted to make sure that our children and our parents were comfortable, safe and happy. Flying over from France, via Martinique and arriving in Castries was not without minor hiccups, but upon landing we quickly remembered why this beautiful place continues to draw us year after year. Lisa, the owner, was very helpful in the days leading to our departure and the welcome cocktail with Claudette was just what my wife and I needed to feel at home and forget our busy lives back in Paris. The house is elegantly decorated and has all the things we needed to enjoy a great vacation. The views, as many, many people always talk about when reviewing this villa, are just magnificent and pictures alone will never do them justice. All rooms upstairs are air conditioned (including the Study) and there are no mosquitos anywhere outside as the sea breeze is constant throughout the day and night. Bertha, the housekeeper, was among the best things we had while at Villa Ivrea. She is a grandmother herself so our children were immediately privileged with her attention and great cooking (we loved her curry fish). The house was always clean and bright and welcoming because of her hard work and we always felt welcome and tended to. Claudette also arranged for Victor, their guide and driver, to take us to Tet Paul trail in the Pitons, which we had not had the chance to visit during our previous trips. We highly recommend this villa to people with families and in search of privacy, relaxation, and great comfort in a luxury environment. Au revoir Villa Ivrea….we cannot wait to come back soon! F. If heaven ever existed in the world it would be named Villa Ivrea. From the time of booking up to my trip Lisa was awesome and she was always prompt to answer any questions which made booking this Villa stress free. Once we arrived we were given our warm St. Lucian welcome by Mrs. Claudette. The views from this Villa are some of the most amazing views you will ever witness. I traveled with my family of 6 and we had plenty of space. The pictures do not even come close! The villa is fully equiped with everything you will ever need as well as a fully stocked kitchen. Bertha our house keeper was amazing and a superb cook. She made us some of the best curry goat, acki, and red snapper we have ever tasted. And her rum punch was out of this world. Victor was one of the coolest drivers ever! My family really enjoyed him. He was always on time and the ultimate St Lucian driver and guide. He took us to some really cool spots and he made our trip feel very personal and memorable. He provided us with the perfect St Lucian experience. Beware though because this Villa is so beautiful you will not want to leave. The views overlooking the veranda will leave you speechless. We spent lots of time by the infinity pool taking in all the beauty this villa offered. Centrally located between the Carribean and Atlantic you get the best of both worlds. Being able to see St. Martinique from the villla was an added bonus. We are already planning our next trip . Lisa, Claudette, Bertha and Victor thank you all for making my 40th birthday celebration awesome.
All the members of our family loved this villa and their staff. This is the third time we come to Saint Lucia on vacation and we continue to be impressed by their attitude in welcoming visitor. Both Bertha and Claudette were superb. The villa sits atop a hill, right in front of the beautiful blue ocean, and has everything you may need for a fantastic stay. We recommend renting a car in order to explore the island.
The Villa was spectacular and the Owner and staff maintaining the house and grounds were all a pleasure. The views were beyond expectations, as was the Villa - it is more beautiful then the photos. Our family continues to talk about this vacation and how lucky we were to come upon this Villa in St Lucia. Bertha's welcome set the tone for an unbeatable week. We could sit on the terrace all day and never tire of the view. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we could think - we wanted for nothing more. We look forward to returning to this little piece of heaven.

Golf: The Saint Lucia Golf & Country Club (18 holes), located inside Cap Estate, is only 4 minutes away by car. Unfortunately, the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course next to Villa Ivrea will not be finished before Fall 2018, but we are sure that once you see it you will want to come back as soon as they open. A great alternative is the La Toc golf course (9 holes), located 30 minutes south from Villa Ivrea --La Toc is the oldest golf course on the island. It is rather hilly, but the expansive views of the Castries Harbor and the Caribbean Sea make it really worth the trip. Their rate is US$60/round and they have no carts.
Other Activities: About 45 minutes by car, going south towards Soufriere, you will find the Tet Paul Nature Trail, which is nestled on six acres of lush, verdant land in the farming community of Chateau Belair.
