'The Nest' with views of Cruz Bay (across the street) are magical. All amenities have been selected by the owners to create a five-star experience, complete with a property manager to greet you as your ferry arrives to answer any questions and provide any information you need. Having lived on the island for years, she can provide you with any resources you need to tailor your stay to your specific requirements. She will provide you with information and recommendations for car rentals, water sport rentals, how to find the perfect beach, walking trails or restaurants and must do activities.

'The Nest' at Grande Bay Resort is perfectly situated in the heart of Cruz Bay and you can walk to ferries, shops (including grocery), restaurants, bars, wonderful walking trails and some beautiful beaches such as Honeymoon Beach. You can also catch an open-air taxi which will

shuttle you around the island.

The Grande Bay complex sports St John's only heated pool and spa with a large deck, waterfall and waterfront gym with new equipment.

This three-bedroom home is situated on the corner and has AC, two king beds, two twin beds and a sleeper sofa. All bedrooms have very comfortable beds dressed in luxury linens, wall-mounted flat screen TV's, and I-Pod docking stations. There are two full bathrooms and an excellent floor plan which allows privacy when resting in the bedrooms and ample opportunities to socialize in the living area and patios.

The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a wrap-around bar for seating. The dining area has a glass-top table and six chairs. There are magnificent views from the wrap-around porch which are visible also from the kitchen/living room. While seated on the patio enjoying your favorite beverage you can watch the ferry/sailboats navigate the harbor and the locals and visitors enjoying the Cruz Bay lifestyle.

This home is the perfect place to enjoy a luxurious stay while accessing some of the most pristine beaches, marvelous walking trails, or partaking of all the water sports you desire. You are only a ferry trip away from other islands should you wish to venture out.

The beauty of St. John is that you can do nothing or go all out and have the vacation of your dreams.

Matt is from the Midwest and Jenn is from the West Coast. We now call Minneapolis home, we are career oriented and love to visit St John when time allows. We've made many new friends on St John and truly enjoy every minute we spend on island. We hope you enjoy our island home as much as we do.

Why Jenn chose Cruz Bay

Location, location, location...we enjoy being within walking distance to all that Cruz Bay and St John have to offer. We are a short 5 minute walk from the ferry or walk down the beach to boat rentals and fantastic restaurants. Our unit is easily accessible by using one flight of stairs so we do not require the elevator.

What makes this condo unique

Being less than a five minute walk to 10 different restaurants and shopping. Every morning we pickup the Lind Point trail and hike to Caneel Bay. We have a beautiful corner unit with a wrap around balcony where we enjoy many meals and the occasional evening cocktail hour.

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo. We leave tomorrow but I wanted to take a moment to let you know our vacation was amazing! Everything you could possibly want or need is in your condo. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking Cruz Bay each morning and night. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Loved having TV's in each bedroom and the living room to lay back and relax at night and watch a little TV after long days at the beaches.



Your kitchen is well equipped with everything anyone could possibly need. And, the condo was very clean. Just beautiful!



Being able to walk to the restaurants, bars, casino, shopping, and taxi's was so convenient. Even though a lot of the restaurants were closed due to low season, we had a fabulous time. The weather was perfect EVERY day. We went to Cinnamon Bay, Maho, and Hawksnest beaches. Maho is our favorite.



We took a catamaran trip to Jost Van Dyke on Kekoa. That was the highlight of our trip. We would highly recommend Kekoa.



Laurie Crandall was fabulous too. We provided her with our grocery shopping list and she stocked the kitchen for our arrival. Nice not to have to run to the grocery store when we arrived.



We hope to come back to St. John in April or May. We'll check your condo's availability soon!.

PERFECTLY POSITIONED PROPERTY

Our rental property, known as "The Nest" in Grande Bay Resort was superfantabuloustic. Yes thats right, we made up a word because there wasn't a word to describe this. We are in our early fifties, three kids over 18, traveled overseas, live in a large city, a hurried life. This place made us feel like locals to St. John's. The owner of this condo has thought of everything. The kitchen has everything. You know that other feeling when you stay in a condo and you're in the kitchen trying to make something and you realize you don't have what you need? It doesn't happen here. Seriously, the owner( a fantastic woman) has thought of everything you'll need from beach chairs and noodles to a blender and a coffee maker . This was a three bedroom (not even closed to cramped) with three large king beds and one of them with a view of the sailboats in cruz bay, and within 45 seconds down one flight of stairs you can be sticking your toes in the water. And yet you can walk 3 minutes up a hill to one of the islands best restaurants and views. Or walk the other direction and you are in a hub of activity in less than 1 minute in the quaint village of Cruz Bay. Yet at no time does it ever feel crowded or busy. Perfect place to relax on their balcony, where you can throw a stone into the water or just get lost in the beauty and the sound of the water releasing on the beach. Looked at other places while were on the island, none were as perfectly positioned as this one. Didn't need to rent a vehicle for the first three days of our eight day stay. The Nest Is the best!

Loved being in Cruz Bay

This was our families 5th time in St John, but our first staying in Cruz Bay (rented houses other times). Being able to walk everywhere was awesome! Great condo, met all our needs.

St. John Paradise

Right in the center of Cruz bay just a short walk from the ferry dock yet peaceful at night. Walking distance from everything except the beaches. This place feels like home as well with everything we needed to cook while here. Comfortable beds and the best patio overlooking the ocean. Having coffee on the porch each morning before taking our jeep to the beaches. Pipers jeep rental dropped our jeep in our parking space the morning after we arrived. Truly couldn't have been better.

Amazing place to stay.

The Nest is in an amazing location. Being in the center of all of the action is so essential to have many options to choose from while on vacation.

The condo is very well equipped for any need that a vacationing person or persons would want.

The views are so delightful that sitting on the veranda in the morning for a cup of coffee or in the evening for a relaxing cocktail should not be missed.

The staff are very accomodating and the owner has taken every step to ensure that comfortable surroundings have been provided.

I would stay here again and recommend this to all that are thinking of a trip to St. John.
