Overview

About the property

5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and views of Geographe Bay from both upstairs balconies

Perfect for big families, or those who enjoy a bit of extra space.

The Tree House comes fully equipped with everything you need for a holiday Down South, including a spacious kitchen, all linen, a bbq area, deck with ocean views and even gear like surfboards or fishing rods provided upon request. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, it's a leisurely 15-minute stroll to Old Dunsborough's pristine beaches or a 10-minute bike ride to the shops.

The only thing you need do is unwind!

There are two levels with a steep wooden staircase between. Great for two families to stay and still have a level each, if you want some chill time. Down stairs includes the main family room, kitchen, three bedrooms and both bathrooms. There's also a bbq area out the back, with a grassed area where the kids can run amok while you kick back and enjoy a well-deserved drink. Upstairs hosts the second family room, two bedrooms and the deck, which has views of the bay on both sides.

Since this is set up for holiday stays, you'll have access to the entire space. I provide all linen including bath and beach towels, and there is Wifi, Smart TVs with Netflix, DVD player with surround sound, a large range of DVDs, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, blender, slow cooker, toasty machine, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer, hair dryer, big free standing bath, high chair, cot, BBQ, indoor wood fire, outdoor chiminea, outdoor bar fridge (please just ask me to turn it on for you), outdoor hot water shower, books, magazines and board games available for guest use. A wide range of organic/environmentally friendly/socially conscious personal and cleaning products are also provided (e.g. hand wash, hand lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, essential oils, bath salts etc.). Surfboards, a SUP, bikes, fishing rods, fishing tackle and extra baby gear can be provided if you need it. Just let me know in advance.

I live just 15 mins drive away in Yallingup, so can be on hand whenever you need me. I provide a loaf of my famous homemade spelt bread or spelt and almond meal pancake mixture on arrival, and I can give you tips on the best wineries, breweries, beaches and surf locations. Whatever you need, just ask!

Down South WA is full of outdoor adventure and world-class wineries. With mountain bike tracks and bush walks at the back door, hiking trails up the coast, world class surf breaks just around the corner, beautiful beaches everywhere and great fishing spots nearby there is plenty to do for active souls. If you prefer to simply chill out and unwind there are loads of excellent wineries, good breweries and quaint galleries to explore. Please note that the neighbourhood is very quiet, so wild parties are a definite no no. But, feel free to enjoy a sip on the deck while listening to some relaxing tunes.

A car is definitely the best option if you want to fully explore the region, but if you are happy to just chill around Dunsborough I can provide some bikes to help you get around.

The hot water is not limitless - large bookings need to be prepared to take short showers or plan showers in shifts to allow the hot water to build up again after high use.

Prices vary with the season as follows:

Low season (June, July, August): $150 per night

Mid season (September, October, November, April, May): $200 per night

High season (December, February, March): $250 per night

Peak Season (January and Autumn School Holidays, Long Weekends): $400 per night

The rate for leavers/schoolies is $80 per person per night plus $200 cleaning fee and $1000 bond.

Although there is generally a minimum 5 nights stay over summer, shorter stays may be possible between bookings - just ask.

Extra large group? Talk to me about booking both The Tree House and Kookaburra Cottage (next door).

About Eve Foley

I'm a fun and friendly surfer chick all about enjoying the awesome lifestyle of the south west. I love wine, coffee, chatting, camping, travelling, fishing, talking to my chickens and chilling with my cheeky 5 yr old boy Ry.

Eve Foley purchased this house in 2017

Why Eve Foley chose Dunsborough

I bought this home for its fantastic location. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac at the top end of Old Dunsborough means that the property is super quiet and surrounded by lovely bushland, but is still close to all the action of town and the beach.

What makes this house unique

The views of Geographe Bay from the upstairs balconies are very special - I love to light the chiminea and enjoy the dusk in front of a crackling fire with a glass of red!

The Tree House makes the perfect holiday house with lots of bedrooms and two separate family rooms - you can have one family upstairs and one family down, or sleep all the kids one one level and have the other as an adults only sanctuary! There is also a fully enclosed backyard so pooch doesn't have to miss out on the holiday.

With the Old Dunsborough golf course just behind you will sometimes catch a Kangaroo on the front lawn, and super fun mountain bike trails start just meters from the back door.

Fantastic house, fantastic stay

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect, clean and spacious. Had everything you need. Loved having the linen included and the fact there was soap, body wash, shampoo etc means all you need to pack is clothes. Makes it a very easy holiday.

The kitchen had everything needed to be able to cook and there was some basic supplies.

There was some items for purchase like wine in the fridge which was great for when you first arrive and haven’t been visiting wineries.

Was perfect with our baby and our fur baby! Fully enclosed and a great backyard for the dog and loved that the dog could come inside with us. Would be great when our baby can run around also, the kitchen overlooks the backyard so kids can play whilst your cooking.

Close to town and to the beach.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The perfect family getaway.

Lovely home in a great location, perfect for a couple or small group.

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely 4 nights staying at the Treehouse. It was in a nice quiet cul de sac which helped us to relax. The house had great amenities and a view of the ocean in the distance.

Was a lovely touch by the owner having homemade pancake mix in the fridge for us for breakfast.

Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for a large group. Everything we needed. Host was very helpful and accomodating.

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay. The house is very homely and the wood fire added to the comfort. The kids loved having their own space in the upstairs family room. The beds were all very comfortable which is always a nice surprise. Little touches like the body washes, hand soaps and pantry items made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect; a quick stroll to the beach or a quick drive into town. Eve, our host was very approachable and always answered any queries very promptly. We will defiantly be booking again.
