About owner/property manager

We have been renting out and using our condo ourselves since 2005. Several upgrades were made over the years to make for the best possible experience for our guests. These include new porcelain floors, new granite counters in kitchen and both washrooms, new king-size bed, new sofa-bed, new flat-screen tv's, new air conditioning, etc. Our condo is on the 3rd floor, as is the management office where assistance is available face-to-face just down the exterior corridor 7 days per week during normal business hours and on-call 24/7. Although there is an elevator, you are only 2 flights of stairs down to beach from the 3rd floor, as well as to your own covered/reserved parking spot. We are from Ottawa in Canada and we are familiar with and can easily assist Canadians with their travel needs.

Why owner/property manager chose Saint Pete Beach

The condo is fully upgraded, the location is excellent and it permits short-term rentals. It is a beach-front, gulf-facing condo on the Gulf of Mexico (not a side unit); the on-site management is superb, and the Publix supermarket is directly across the street in a mall that also contains a Pharmacy, a bank, a Dollar Store, restaurants, beach clothing stores, etc..Our condo has the highest occupancy rate both summer and winter in the entire complex in 2017 and again in 2018, made up primarily of return guests and new first-time guests referred to our condo. There are no large buildings on either side of our condo complex to obstruct your view from anywhere. Our condo faces the entire beach north and south without any obstruction. These are some of the reasons we bought this particular condo in 2005. Summers are very popular at our condo, primarily with guests from inland Florida and southern states who head to the Gulf's beaches for their summer vacations (i.e. to the "cooler" waterfront climates along the Gulf). St Pete Beach was ranked the #3 beach in 2017 in USA by TripAdvisor and our condo complex was awarded a Certificate of Excellence in June 2017 by TripAdvisor based on the consistently excellent reviews it receives.

What makes this condo unique

Too many to mention. Worth a try if you have never stayed in our complex before. Many guests return year-after-year.

Live sports all within about 1/2 hour drive include Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL pro hockey), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL pro football) and Tampa Bay Devil Rays (pro MLB baseball). About 1/2 hour to Busch Gardens, about 15 minutes to Fort De Soto Park, about 5 minutes to Sunshine Skyway Bridge; about 2 1/2 hours to Disney World (Orlando). Great Condo, loved the layout , and the two bathrooms.

We had a nice time, needs a little updating, and it is close to public beach so not a laid back place in March, but over all nice condo and great support from Betty the manager who is right on the premises. She is so nice and professional.

Had some issues with noise above us, people loud all night long.

Pool is heated and very clean, the hot tub is nice too.

easy access to wide soft sand beach.

Lots to do in walking distance.

The property was everything that was advertised through VRBO and pictures. our main frustration was that we ended up dealing with two different entities that quoted us two different prices and we ended up paying a third price which was higher than the other two. I would suggest that if you rent this property, you make sure to get clarification on the final amount before agreeing to use your credit card for payment. We had email correspondence to verify the management company’s Price and VRBO’s price. However we have never received a statement with the final amount that we paid which was different from those two.

Excellent location right on beach

Really enjoyed the property, the condo was updated and clean, the management staff very helpful and caring. The location is perfect, with a Publix and bank right across the street. Will return again.

Payment terms are arranged directly with owner and "condo rental" payments are made directly to the on-site condo complex rental management office. (Any "booking" fees, if applicable, are made to VRBO/HomeAway). The rental management company will ask for a $200 deposit at the time of the reservation and the balance will be due 45 days prior to the check-in date. You would be able to pick up the keys on site 24/7 at the management office upon your arrival. NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY> "Condo rental" fees are refunded in full by rental management company if cancellation is made a minimum of 45 days prior to check-in date.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
