You were three wonderful people. The two months spent in my apartment (November and December) No. 37 Light Street I appreciate my customers as friends and guests.

The cleaning requests were always efficient but the first week: I was warned and I immediately blamed the cleaners: after there was no problem.

I did go to Neil, Terry and Cindy my other apartment in Via Santa Maria in Monticelli 69: It was very apprrezzato.

I can not say more because the apartment is fully equipped and perfect, I normally do with my home checks to see if everything is fine and is the only way to be sure everything is in order.

Again beautiful

Again in rome, again in Trastevere - and again beautiful

The flat is ideal for discovering rome. You can reach every place by bus or tram. All stations are near the flat. Or you go by foot, its also possible. And in the evening you spend an nice time in Trastevere with its own charme. After that you go home in your air-contitioned flat and spent the night there. Its really quiet but central. You will find everything there you need (wifi, air-condition, tv, ...). And you have nice personnel :-)! Shirley and Rodlfo tried to solve all your problems (car parking). We (2 adults and 2 children) love it!

Owner's Response: Thanks Dirk. you have been magnificent. You forgot to mention that this is the second time you come to Rome and always in this my apartment! The kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer! The house has two lovely and large bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower! The living room is large, bright, with dining table, couch, chair and TV. Third floor, bright, quiet, with elevator. The assistance before, during and after the check-in is one of our strengths! Rodolfo the owner remembers that has two other apartments in central locations, always with two bedrooms + living room + kitchen + 2 bathrooms with shower. FRANÇAIS Merci Dirk. vous avez été magnifique. Vous avez oublié de mentionner que c'est la deuxième fois que vous venez à Rome et toujours dans ce mon appartement! La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec deux fours, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge et sèche-linge! La maison a deux belles chambres et grandes et deux salles de bains avec douche! Le salon est grand, lumineux, avec table à manger, un canapé, une chaise et une télévision. Troisième étage, lumineux, calme, avec ascenseur. L'assistance avant, pendant et après le check-in est l'un de nos points forts! Rodolfo le propriétaire se souvient que deux autres appartements dans des endroits centraux, toujours avec deux chambres + salon + cuisine + 2 salles de bains avec douche. ESPAÑOLA Gracias Dirk. usted ha sido magnífica. Se le olvidó mencionar que esta es la segunda vez que vienen a Roma y siempre en este mi apartamento! La cocina está totalmente equipada con dos hornos, lavavajillas, lavadora y secadora! La casa tiene dos habitaciones preciosas y grandes, y dos cuartos de baño con ducha! El salón es grande, luminoso, con mesa de comedor, sofá, silla y TV. Tercer piso, luminoso, tranquilo, con ascensor. La asistencia antes, durante y después del registro de entrada es una de nuestras fortalezas! Rodolfo el propietario recuerda que tiene otros dos apartamentos situados en ubicaciones céntricas, siempre con dos dormitorios + salón + cocina + 2 baños con ducha.

Spacious, light and airy apartment!

We arrived at the apartment on a rainy night in July! We were met by Shirley and Irina who were most helpful and showed us around the apartment. They also gave all the information required during our stay and left contact details should we need further help.

The apartment is light, spacious and airy with beautiful high ceilings and large windows. There was ample space for us and our two tall teenage sons and with the added bonus of 2 shower rooms, we had all that we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with double sink, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer and well stocked with enough cups, glasses, crockery and cutlery for all of us! We didn't make use of the kitchen facilities but, they were there if needed. It was lovely to get back to the apartment after a long hot day sight seeing and switch on the air conditioning in the living area and both bedrooms, it also helped with sleeping at night, a definite bonus on hot July nights.

The apartment is conveniently situated about a 10 minute walk to the main area, alternatively you can take the bus or the tram which runs frequently from the end of the street. We enjoyed the stroll from the apartment into the town for dinner and ice cream, very pleasant. The apartment is on a quiet street and we didn't experience any noise at night so we slept well, a definite need after all the walking we did! Lots of local restaurants within walking distance in Trastevere, the atmosphere is lovely and there is so much choice!

Two people to check-in and much more! A person explains well the house and the other person communicates indications of the area and all utility stores: restaurants, pizzerias, bars, super markets, banks, transport, etc. The importance of the respect of our guest: 1) always come before us! The guest must never wait in the street with suitcases! 2) two people to check in as I said before! 3) always available for any problem in a timely manner. This is the real service and care towards the guest You forgot just one particular, Steven: The washing machine is also asciugatriuce! Cancelled day before arrival

I reserved this apartment in January 2016 for a stay in July 2016. Rodolfo provided information, answered my questions and agreed to meet us for our check in on July 14, 2016. The day of our flight from the USA to Rome (July 13th), he cancelled our five night reservation. He did not have another apartment to house us. He sent some links to other sites and possible apartments, and that was it. I was left to scramble to find accommodations for the four of us in a few hours. This created a great deal of anxiety for the beginning of our trip and added to the expense of our trip.

Owner's Response: This is apartment is on this site since 2010 and has 72 reviews, nearly all 5/5 stars! This complaint has already been addressed and resolved by the homeaway's staff. The days before their arrive a serious electrical fault arise, a problem that can't be resolved in few days. I've immediatly contacted the client and I've made a full refund. I also send them links to other three apartments, like the one they have booked, that have had the same or lower price, optioned for them for three hous, to ensure they stay in Rome pleasant. The customer has never stayed in my apartment but he have leave a negative review anyway, I've made all I can do to resolve the problem that doesn't depended on me.

Very comfortable apartment full of light

The apartment is centrally located, within walking distance of much of central Rome or, if you want to take the bus, near the main Trastevere bus route. It provides both the neighborly quality of Trastevere, but is very quiet. You can get an excellent night's sleep since the windows do not face the street.

We enjoyed our stay in Calle della Luce. The apartment is clean and has an excellent air conditioner for the hot summer days. There is everything you need in the apartment and Rodolfo is very responsive if there is something you want.

Although Rodolfo does not speak English, he uses google translate to communicate via email and has staff that do speak English. Do not be put off by the sometime stilted emails: that is google translate, not Rodolfo.

Very comfortable and convenient, wonderful stay

This was a lovely apartment, very comfortable and convenient, excellent service from the owner. It is very convenient to wonderful Trastevere restaurants, but on a quiet street. Very easy to cross the bridge and be in the heart of Rome in minutes. We were interested particularly in the monuments and buildings of ancient Rome, and visited the Forum, Trajan's Market, the Collosseum, the Ara Pacis, the Pantheon, as well as Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain, among others. There are many many wonderful restaurants, including Da Paolo at the corner, and I Vascellari 5 minutes away. The nightlife area in Trastevere is about a 5-10 minute stroll away. We would certainly cheerfully return.

Wonderful location.

The apartment was cozy, in a wonderful location, well equipped and the owner was very responsive. It was a comfortable walking distance to many sites. The 8 and H lines were very close by if you didn't want to walk, as was the taxi stand. Great restaurants close by. Within a few yards was our morning cappuccino stop, a very fun little trattoria, and a very good gelato stop for dessert. We would stay there again.
