This is a new listing in December 2017

This family beach house commands extensive vistas of Batemans Bay and the beach from its elevated position amongst stately gum trees. It is on two levels with access to the lower level via a spacious deck.

The spacious lower area is ideal for older kids, or a second couple, with its own bathroom and deck, TV and DVD player. The house sleeps up to 7 .

Architect-designed living spaces are comfortable with floor-to ceiling windows making the best of views and natural light.

The spacious deck and paved area is excellent for outdoor eating and relaxing – barbecue 4 burner with side burner provided

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee-maker (Nespresso compatible), jug, toaster, kitchen utensils, mixer, juicer, cutlery and crockery for up to 8 people

The bathrooms upstairs and downstairs have recently been renovated

The master bedroom has one queen-sized bed and built in wardrobe

The second bedroom has two single beds and small built-in wardrobe


2 comfortable single beds and a fold-out bed plus 2 comfortable lounge chairs, TV and DVD player and small hanging space


Linen and towels (new, Sheridan brand) are provided on the basis that guests wash and dry them before leaving or exercise the option of paying $50 for this service. The laundry has an 8kg washing machine and a semi-industrial dryer. If guests wish exercise the washing and drying option, beds should be stripped and sheets and towels piled ready for pick up.

Short rentals (under 7 days) assume guests will clean the house and leave it in a condition suitable for the next tenants. Professional cleaning is available at $100 additional to rental.

Parking space is for two or three cars and/or boat

A short walk to the (very safe) beach – around 10 minutes (immediately below house but accessed through adjacent right-of-way)

Batemans Bay (a regional centre with extensive shops) is 12 kilometres away and there is a small café and store at Maloneys Beach (around 20 minutes walking distance from the house) selling takeaway food, basic items (milk etc) and liquor.


Occupancy is from 2 pm on the day of arrival. Tenants must depart by 11 am on the day of departure. Note: other arrival and departure times may be negotiated with the owner

Price is for self-cleaning (including washing and drying of linen and towels) and the tenants are required to leave the house in a clean and tidy condition.

Smoking inside and pets are not permitted

Christmas bookings are Saturday to Saturday

Long weekend bookings are for minimum 3 nights

Why Peter Dawson chose Long Beach

This is the house we built as a family over a number of years. A very good architect as well as a wonderful neighbour helped us. It has been a family getaway place for several decades. I bought the block from the original sub-division before services were connected. It has been renovated several times, most recently in 2017

What makes this house unique

The house occupies a unique position on the ridge overlooking the bay. I was able to select from a number of (undeveloped) blocks along the ridge. It is near the top of the ridge so catches all the breezes on hot days. It has magnificent spotted gum trees. It is a short walk to our very safe beach.

Lovely relaxing Property

Highly recommend a stay at Trees n Sea 🌊?. The property is charming with plenty of room for a small family with children or a holiday with the extended family. Great location allows you to live like a local for a more authentic experience. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, loved the wood fire for those chilly nights, comfortable beds, a really well equipped kitchen and even wifi if you need to stay connected. The host Peter was very efficient at making contact and gave excellent detail on the property. We will be sure to recommend to all our friends and family.

Tranquil weekend

We had a lovely weekend away. Couldn’t fault anything The quiet spot was jusr what we needed, and the nearby walks in Murramarang NP were beautiful and not too challenging. The facilities in the unit were in good condition and the games compendium brought back old memories.

Lazy few days away

The other reviews on this site were accurate. We loved our time at Tees 'n' Sea. 5 star it is not, but it is a very comfortable home in a great location. Communication through Homeaway with owner was easy and speedy. Peter (the owner) even contacted us on our check out day and invited us to stay later in the day as he was aware it was a beautiful day in Batemens Bay -- very kind of him.

With a winter stay the slow combustion heater was great. Bed in main bedroom was pretty good. Everything needed for food preparation etc was found in the kitchen.

Great value accommodation in a lovely part of the world.

Cosy and relaxing

This is lovely house with a view down through the trees to one end of Long Beach. The wood fire kept it cosy and warm during the winter evenings. Would love to come back and stay longer next time.
