SELF CONTAINED 5 BEDROOM 3 BATHROOM IN THE HEART OF MUDGEE
Stay on the Park Mudgee
About Stay on the Park Mudgee
My family moved to Mudgee in 2007 after leaving the farm. Our children are all grown up and leading wonderful lives of their own. The opportunity arose for us to buy our first self contained accomodation guesthouse in 2014 and then again in 2017 with Haylock. We have loved renovating this house and the reward is in having people come and stay and enjoy all that Mudgee has to offer, including the house.
Stay on the Park Mudgee purchased this House in 2017
Why Stay on the Park Mudgee chose Mudgee
Having purchased the house next door to Haylock in 2014, called Cawarra which is also a self containeded accomoation guesthouse, we knew that having 2 houses next door to each other would allow larger family & friend groups the chance to enjoy staying close to each other with all the benefits of being in the heart of Mudgee. We purchased Haylock in 2017 and have fully renovated this lovely old c1927 Californian bungalow for the enjoyment of guests needing the comfort and space of a large family home. Ideally located close to the town hub and offering home comforts; a perfect weekend away destination. Complemented by having Cawarra on the Park right next door also offers the larger group 2 houses side by side with plenty of space.
What makes this House unique
LOCATION, CONVENIENCE, SPACE, COMFORT & PRIVACY A perfect location in Mudgee on Short Street; right opposite Mudgee's iconic Lawson Park with pathways meandering through the park and the Cudgegong River with it's own small weir. Haylock has rear lane access to the main street, Market Street, and is only a few short steps to the town centre. Easy to get to the vineyards, sporting fields, wedding venues, etc.
Cancelled bookings will not receive a refund.
Amazing group stay
Haylock did not disappoint! The house was beautiful with modern amenities mixed with traditional charm, in a perfect location. Great for large groups and the host was lovely. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a beautifully set out home, congratulations! The living area and kitchen etc coped with the family group of 24 very well. We love Mudgee and this home makes it a lovely stay.
Haylock was a perfect place to stay for a large group (10 Ladies). We could walk everywhere and the house was beautiful. It was immaculately fitted out with top quality inclusions, air con, fire and everything we needed. Highly recommend it.

A touch of paradise!
We absolutely loved this property!! The house has been renovated beautifully & is extremely comfortable & we really felt at home. Our group consisted of three couples & three kids under six. The house is within walking distance to town & the very wonderful Roth’s wine bar is a short walk from the back gate! Karen was a fantastic host - communication was excellent & she even posted back some toys that the kids left behind - thank you! This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in a long time, and the greater Mudgee area is amazing.
Ideally located opposite Mudgee's iconic Lawson Park with walking pathways & the Cudgegong River meandering through. Childrens playground, 50m Public Pool, sporting fields, coffee shops, restaurants, retail & business outlets, all within an easy walk.
