This is a Unique Stay. Property is a quirky rustic mud-brick cottage on the way to the mountains but close to town. It's great for those wishing to visit the majestic Warrumbungles, surrounding areas, star gazing or just relax and enjoy your natural environment outside overlooking the garden, up at the stars, in the hot/cold tub by the fire pit, or the cozy fire indoors. We provide all linen, wood for the fire and just about everything you will need for a cozy and comfortable stay. Hope you can stay :)

***Booking for 2 is for king bed in loft only, for 3 includes 1 single bed in the sunroom, for 4 is the includes king and 2 x singles in sunroom. Please indicate at time if booking***

TV with streaming and free to air, mobile coverage is sometimes limited inside due to mud bricks however you can usually get enough to receive, plus use the wifi.

Please NO PARTIES - NO PETS - only the number who have been booked and paid for are allowed on the property, we don't allow extra guests to the property for any reason.

If you have mobility issues the special designed 'loft stairs' may not be suitable for you so please consider this fact before booking. There is bedding downstairs as an alternative option. If concerned .please discuss with us prior to booking.

Character filled, quirky delight!

We spent the weekend at Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Cottage and it was an absolute pleasure. We got to finally get away from it all and relax in absolutely charming surroundings with plenty to do in the cottage to keep our two girls (7 and 10) occupied. Michelle is an extremely gracious hostess and the cottage was conveniently located for all our star gazing activities. The girls were in raptures about the place. Highly, highly recommended.

PEACE & QUIET

Love the location just on edge of Coonabarabran. It was such a peaceful spot and all we heard we birds singing and kookaburras laughing! A cute quaint little cottage which had everything we needed and just loved the fireplace which kept us cozy and warm. Would loved to have stayed longer!!

Perfect dark sky retreat at the foot of the Warrumbungles

Had an excellent stay with family at Michelle's property. Michelle was an attentive host and easy to communicate with. We ended up staying in the big blue house which was beautiful, spacious, and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the peaceful rural setting, with cute gardens, birds calling and a great deck to enjoy the stars. The property is also well situated, with easy access to town and at the foot of the Warrumbungles. Would visit again!

Why they chose this property

My property is very unique in that it is only 2.5 kms from the town centre but is a very lush garden and bush setting, on the road to the mountains. There are amazing birds and other wild life, its all very private so you feels a million miles away from it all, but convenience is just around the corner. The building itself is very unique, cozy, with all that you need for a wonderful stay regardless of the temperature or weather. If its warm go mountain climbing and then relax in the hot tub after, if it's cold stay inside or out by the fire or fire pit watching a movie or star gazing just outside. It has it all.

What makes this property unique

Quiet and peaceful place, very tranquil with amazing trees and birdlife, lovely garden surrounds, easy access to mountains and town and all local attractions, very comfortable bedding, wonderful Kitchen, fire pit, inside fire, hot tub, all linens provided. A very unique experience.
