Fabulous 2 bedroom townhouse three minutes walk from the beach, an organic fruit/vege shop & supermarket and two family friendly pubs. The Tannery is a converted architect designed townhouse with all the original design elements showing glimpses of its previous life with industrial steel span trusses and reclaimed timbers.

The Tannery boasts a large light filled open plan living area on the ground floor with a private courtyard. Upstairs are the two bedrooms with doors opening onto the void overlooking the courtyard allowing lots of light and fresh air to flood the rooms. The bathroom and toilet are conveniently located next to the bedrooms. Original timber floors, feature timber and brick walls, industrial steel trusses and terracotta floors compliment the modern décor.

PLEASE NOTE: The Tannery is not suitable for children under 8 years of age due to the open stairwell and bedroom doors that open onto the courtyard void. All other children must be supervised at all times.

South Fremantle is a very special, unique neighbourhood with the ocean on your doorstep. South Beach is renowned for its family friendly grassed area with free BBQ's under the tall Norfolk Pines, its swimming beach and two great cafes. Step outside the front door of The Tannery and immerse yourself in the café culture, browse through several art galleries or dine in one of the multi cultural restaurants or friendly pubs. You will love wandering around the small side streets checking out the renovated historical workers cottages and pocket sized gardens. Peaches organic green grocers and the Freo Fresh IGA supermarket are 3 minutes walk away with a chemist and several other speciality stores.

Catch the free CAT bus into Fremantle 7 days a week - the bus stop is 30 seconds walk away. From Fremantle you can catch the train to Perth or beyond. Parking is provided at the townhouse for your car but with everything on your door step you could easily enjoy Fremantle without one.

Fantastic getaway with family and dogs

The location near the dog beach was excellent, our dogs had a ball chasing each other up and down the beach. The terrace house is full of everything you would find in a well equipped home, even down to spare dog leads and poo bags. It was nice to be able to cook at home or choose to eat out at many dog friendly cafes. Fremantle was a great place to visit and tourist attractions were all just a short bus ride away (Fremantle Prison and Museum etc). Even though we visited in winter, the home was nice and warm and sitting in the sun eating lunch outside while the dogs played was lovely. We'll be staying again :)
