Whole villa - Casa Delfin

Casa Delfin is a large detached villa offering accommodation to sleep a maximum of 10 people. The whole villa consists of two independent apartments which is ideal for a large family or more than one family or friends wishing to holiday together.

In addition to the use of of your own private pool and table tennis table, guests can also use the nearby communal pool with children's paddling area, grassed bathing area, tennis courts, snack bar and children's play area.

The upper level of the villa comprises an apartment of 2 bedrooms to sleep 4 people, whilst the lower level offers an apartment of 3 bedrooms to sleep 6 people.

Both levels each include a kitchen, lounge and a bath/shower room. Please note that the upper and lower levels are not linked internally.

Both levels of the villa are air conditioned and have a wood burning stove and the added benefit of mosquito blinds and window shutter blinds. There is private driveway parking for up to 3 cars.

About the property

Casa Delfin

Both the upper and poolside level of Casa Delfin each provide individual self-contained apartments ideal for a large family or more than one family or friends wishing to holiday together. Pleae note that external steps link the upper and lower levels and therefore the two levels are not connected internally.

Casa Delfin sleeps a maximum of 10 people. The upper level sleeps 4 people and comprises one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The lower Poolside Apartment comprises two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.

Four roman steps lead down into the private 10 x 5 metre swimming pool which benefits from a poolside shower, large sun terrace, BBQ with seating area, sun loungers and garden furniture to seat 10 people There is also a table tennis table for guests to use.

Guests can also enjoy the use of the nearby communal facilities which includes a further large swimming pool with bathing area, free WiFi internet access, snack bar, tennis & hard surface football court.

To the rear of the property there is an impressive shaded naya which is a perfect area for relaxation and outside dining. The naya inclues a mosaic dining table and a seating area to relax with a drink whilst enjoying the views of the local vineyards, mountains and countryside.

All windows have mosquito blinds and most of the bedrooms have external wooden shutters. There is a large gated private driveway to park at least three cars.

The villa is located in a quiet, sought after area and offers superb views to the rear across the local vineyards and Spanish countryside. Local supermarkets are just a 5 minute walk away and Moraira town with its sandy beach, castle, many restaurants, bars, shops, pretty marina and all amenities is a 5 minute drive by car (approx. 3 kms).

LOWER POOLSIDE APARTMENT - 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6

The main entrance into the Poolside Apartment is from the pool terrace and through the shaded naya.

The comfortable, light and airy lounge/dining area is tastefully decorated in a mix of modern and Moroccan style and comprises a soft sofa seating for 6 people, a wood burning stove, a TV with English speaking channels and a DVD player. The dining area includes a dining table to seat six people and a wall mounted air conditioning unit that easily services the entire apartment.

The modern white kitchen comprises a fridge/freezer, oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. A doorway leads out of the kitchen to the shaded naya to the rear of the villa.

There is a twin bedded room and two double bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes and chests of drawers. Double doors lead out from one double bedroomonto the terrace at the rear of the property, and the second double bedroom as a view of the pool.

The recently renovated shower room is fully tiled and comprises a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.

UPPER LEVEL - 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4

Tiled steps lead to the upper level of the villa from the pool to a shaded naya with mosaic table and chairs. This is the perfect area to relax over a drink whilst enjoying the pretty views of the surrounding area.

Please note that the upper and lower levels of the villa are not connected internally.

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven/hob and a breakfast bar which separates the kitchen from the dining area. The dining area has a dining table with seating for 4 people.

The comfortable lounge has sofa seating with pretty cushions and modern wicker chairs for a minimum of 4 people, TV with English speaking channels, traditional feature chimney housing a pretty iron wood burner, coffee table and a wall mounted air conditioning unit which easily services the entire apartment.

There is one double bedroom which is light and airy and comprises fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. There is also a further twin bedded room with fitted wardrobes.

A separate bathroom includes a wash basin, mirror, bath with wall mounted shower unit.

Casa Delfin is perfect or those looking for a detached villa with its private pool in a quiet area. Within a 5 minute walk of supermarkets and just a short 5 minute drive to Moraira and all its amenities.

About Moraira...: Once a sleepy fishing village, Moraira has grown into a small yet charming and picturesque town and yet due to strict planning laws is still very pretty and not over-developed. The main hub of life is beside the pretty yacht marina offering a good selection of restaurants and bars where you can sit outside and watch the world go by. A charming square still retains much of the original character and atmosphere and is home to the local church. There are restaurants, bars and several interesting shops lining the narrow cobbled streets. In the high season, the town comes alive in the evenings with locals and visitors alike.

The beach...: This little town also has its own popular wide, gently-shelving sandy beach with shallow waters and a smaller beach in the adjacent hamlet of El Portet. Both beaches were awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness and are safe for family bathing, both are also served by beach bars and restaurants which serve drinks, snacks and main meals. It is also well worth exploring the many other coves and bays along the coast with sand or sand/rock beaches.

Its location...: Moraira is situated at the end of a long valley. The surrounding pine-clad foothills provide both shelter from the winter weather from the north and a natural vortex for cooling summer sea breezes. Moraira’s perfect orientation provides the majority of its properties with a southerly downhill view towards the sea. The development in the area is mostly detached privately-owned villas with very few holiday apartments and no holiday package hotels whatsoever and therefore accommodation is virtually limited to privately-owned villas. Nearly all the properties are owned by Northern Europeans either as retirement or holiday homes and are spread over quite a substantial area. The well-spaced villa development does mean that a car is a necessity in most areas.

Fantastic Villa

We were a family of 10, 7 adults and 3 kids. we arrived in the middle of the night and found the key access to the Villa easy. We were a little worried as none of the bedrooms had Air Con but it really wasn't needed, the rooms stayed lovely and cool. All the beds were really comfortable and we all slept well. Both kitchens were well equipped and had everything you needed for your holiday. Out the front of the Villa was spacious and had more than enough sunbeds for all of us. The pool was lovely and had a shallow end, approx. 130cms. Out the back was very spacious with a seating area and dinning table overlooking the Vineyard. Also this is where the table tennis was, this was great fun for all the family. There was also a little room with the washing machine. The area is lovely and quiet, there is a bar, restaurant nearby and of course Moraira is only a short drive away. Mike and Sue who look after the Villa were lovely and really helpful. Mike came round a few times to look after the pool and answer any problems we may have had. One of the floor standing fans didn't work and he brought a new one to us the next day. As we were there 2 weeks we had new bed linen and towels after the 1st week which was lovely. There is a well stocked supermarket within walking distance. There is also an Aldi and a Chinese shop for anything else you might need. The communal pool is within walking distance and the boys went a few times and met with some local lads to swim and to play football. I can't recommend this Villa enough and wish that we could go back next year but its already booked!

Lovely villa, lovely location

Had a 10 day stay at Casa Delfin and can say it was a lovely place to be. From booking, to returning home Hazel has been very efficient in dealing with any queries which made things very easy.

The villa itself is lovely. A bit on the dark side downstairs, but we'll equipped all around. The only thing we found it lacked was a clothes horse to dry clothes when it rains. We were unfortunate enough to be there after the heatwave!

The pool is a good size for the villa, and the villa is well located. A short drive to moraira where you'll find shops, bars and restaurants. (Recommend a trip to Tasca 42), and a short, but steep walk back from the supermarket.

There is enough space within the villa that if you are with a group of people, you don't get under each others feet as there is plenty of different areas to go to.

Very nice property, well equiped, good location.

We were 2 familes renting the villa over easter period. The villa is nicely located and there are nice views of the surroundings too. It has 2 separate apartments fully equipped with pretty much everithyng you need (may need to upgrade the TV in the upstairs apartment) . The only downside was that the apartaments weren't very clean when we arrived, quite a lot of dust on the floor and on the surfaces generally and there was a musty smell inside the apartments as well, very possible that we were first to rent it this year and the maintanace people didn't do much before we came. Though the maintanace man did come to the villa while we were there with 2 occasions pretending that he's got some repairs to do. It wouldn't normally be a problem but he got in unannounced, he literally got inside without any notice and without even knocking at the gate to ask for permision to come in. We felt that our privacy was broken and we were checked upon just to make sure everithing is in place. The overall experience was good and it probably worth the money.

The villa managers have looked after this property on behalf of the owners for several years now, they know the property very well, they are trustworthy and have always done a fantastic job in dealing with any maintenance issues as soon as they arise, so I was very sorry to hear your comments. As with all villa rentals, the villa managers will clean the swimming pool and carry out any urgent external maintenance unannounced whilst guests are not in, however arrangements will be made direct with the guests should access inside the villa be necessary. I will of course ensure the property and the service the villa managers provide continues to be of the highest possible standard we are used to. Thank you once again.

Fabulous, will be back

The villa is split over two apartments, of which we had both. they were both well presented and clean and tidy, air conditioning helped for the evenings. The pool was great, again clean and private. Lots of outside area, we used both the front and the back (lovely views out the back) to eat and relax.

The villa is close to the shops and local bars, all are friendly and speak English. Moraira is 5 mins drive down the road, and has loads of shops and restaurants.

The whole family had a fantastic 10 day holiday, and we will be definitely going back

Casa Delfin was a fantastic villa with all the equipment that we could have needed. It was very clean and just as we thought it would be from the pictures and description. The pool was a great size and was very clean and very safe, we have 3 children who had the best time. Moraira is a beautiful town with lovely beaches. We ate in some lovely restaurants but "El Nido" stood out with it's fabulous food and wonderful service. We enjoyed a day at Aqualandia in Benidorm which is only 45mins from the villa and Javea is not far again with fantastic beaches and restaurants.

We have used LemonTree Villas before and would definatley use them again as they have been great and would recommend them to anyone.

If i had a negative it would be that the beds were not very comfortable, but that is very minor compared to how great everything else was.

Fantastic stay!

Casa Delfin is a wonderful villa. We had both the upper and lower apartments as we were two families travelling together - this was absolutely perfect and suited out needs. The pool area was wonderful and our children - all boys aged between 12 and 15 - found it more than big enough for all their games. The provision of a table tennis table was brilliant and loved by both adults and children! Also being able to use the nearby communal pool and tennis courts was also an real added bonus. This area also had a fab snack bar at a reasonable price.Plenty of places to sunbathe around the villa and the area to the rear of the propoerty was shaded and lovely and cool towards the end of the day. The lower apartment is very well equipped, the upper level not so well equipped but that didn't really cause any problem - we can live without a toaster and microwave for a fortnight! The

supermarket is just down the road as is Rustys bar. All in all a fab property and we'd definitely like to return. The kids will love Aqualandia in Benidorm (about 45mins away), Fonts d'Algar is brilliant as is Guadalest. El Portet is a wonderfully beach as is the beach at Cumbre del Sol. Lovely bars at both beaches and El Portet is perfect for watching the sun go down. We went kayaking with CoastalKayaking - highly recommended!

Golf: There are upwards of 12 golf courses on the Costa Blanca and 4 within easy reach of Moraira. All are affiliated to the Spanish Federation and consequently can validate members handicap internationally. All have golf clubs for hire and most, if not all can provide coaching. CLUB DE GOLF ‘IFACH’ No of Holes: 9 Par: 60. The Club de Golf Ifach course is situated on the coast road between Moraira and Calpe on the San Jaime Urbanisation in Benissa, hence surrounding views of the most prestigious properties in the area, set in a beautiful fertile valley with distant scenes of Calpe’s D’Ifach rock and sparkling blue Mediterranean sea. CLUB DE GOLF JAVEA No of Holes: 9 Par: 72. Situated between Moraira and Javea, this all year course is slightly longer and quite flat, easier to play and not so tiring in the hot summer sun. It has been attractively landscaped around the greens and also benefits from a putting green, driving range, club bar and restaurant, heated swimming pool, tennis and squash courts. CLUB DE GOLF LA SELLA - No of Holes: 18, Par: 72. On the back-road between Javea and Denia, situated inland near the area of Jesus Pobre, this course was opened in 1991 and designed to use ‘all the clubs in the bag’. Although almost totally flat it has many trees and water obstacles (canals and lakes which provide the irrigation).
