YOUR FAMILY HOME IN LONDON: Free Wi-Fi - XBox(Wi-fi)

Situated on the edge of Zone 1, close to two Tube stations and with frequent buses to Waterloo, Westminster and beyond, it is the perfect base for a vacation exploring London.

Both Tube stations are a 10-minute walk away, or take the bus and be at Tate Britain, Big Ben, or Westminster Abbey in 10-15 minutes!

The house is situated in a safe, quiet, residential street and with space to spread out and relax (a scarce commodity in most London holiday apartments) it is perfect for families, couples, or larger groups. On quiet nights you can even hear Big Ben strike and the River Thames is just a short walk away.

The new American Embassy is being built nearby, very close to the impressive MI6 building.

Please note that this is a traditional British semi-detatched house, not an apartment. You occupy the whole house, so no noisy neighbours above, or below!

There is a very large Supermarket (which is open until 11.00pm every night) just 5-minutes away, plus cafés, delis and restaurants, all within easy reach. There are also two gyms nearby to work off the calories.

The property has recently been totally refurbished and is supplied with everything you'll need to make your stay stress free and comfortable and cut down on your luggage.

There is a small, but fully-loaded kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Upstairs, are two large bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and remote-controlled ceiling fans, a smaller bedroom with full sized bunk-bed and a family bathroom with bath tub and power shower.

Downstairs there is a shower room, a lounge with double sofa bed, ceiling fan and flat screen TV and a dining room (seats 8) leading out to a patio garden.

Baby cots and inflatable beds can also be supplied on request. The house is centrally-heated and double-glazed.

Linens, towels, bathrobes and 2 hairdriers are supplied.

The house sleeps 8 adults (in beds/sofabed, plus we can provide 2 extra cots for infants)

For relaxing at night, a selection of DVDs and Xbox 360 games are available (please ask, as we like to offer age appropriate films and Xbox games), as well as books and games.

Free Wi-Fi is available. Also supplied are two pay-as-you-go phones for you to use during your stay.

Some basic food stuffs to get you started are included, such as tea, coffee (instant, decaff and filter), milk, bread, eggs, butter, cooking oil, olive oil and condiments.

If you would like us to have your own shopping ready for you when you arrive we can arrange that for a small fee of £10, or you can order it online and have it delivered and we will put perishables in the fridge.

If you have any special requirements, please let us know and we will do our best.

Check in is 4 p.m. Check out is 10 a.m.

If you are arriving early, we can look after your luggage until check in time, so you can fit in some sightseeing.

We try to be as flexible as possible with arrival and departure times.

There is a total no smoking policy in the house, but guests may smoke in the garden.

Daily Parking Permits can be arranged, the current cost is £5 per day.

We are nearby, so always on call for any queries.

Best stay in London

I would not consider staying anywhere else in London. Whether you are a couple, a Mum & daughter ( like us ), a family or friends, Bev & Jeff's London house is the perfect place to stay. The location is fabulous- only 5 minutes walk to buses and local shops and 10 minutes to the centre of London on public transport. The house is exactly as described and fully self contained with absolutely everything you could possibly require. There are extras you would not expect such as a couple of Oyster cards for public transport, a fridge stocked with starters ( bacon, eggs, milk, bread, juice & cereal) basics in the pantry and full sized shampoos & body wash in the bathroom along with fluffy robes, hairdryers in both bedrooms, guidebooks & maps, overseas adapters and so much more. Apart from the fabulous house, Bev & Jeff are more than happy to assist you if required. You will not find more obliging hosts. This is my second trip to London and 2nd stay at this great house. I will definitely be back. 10/10 stars.

There's a reason this place gets all these 5 stars!

5 Star Deserved.

Wonderful townhome that suited us just perfect. Everything was clean and ready for guests when we got there. A bit of food in the fridge and other amenities we would need during our stay. The property owners greeted us when we arrived, gave us some local information and answered our questions. Probably the most helpful owners we've dealt with....ever. They even helped us get back to the train station (to get back to the airport) when we left. (I shouldn't say this...perhaps they cannot always do this...but they even escorted us to the train station and got our luggage down there!...so nice!)

Even before our visit...they were very helpful with any information we requested. Very fast replies....which is huge!

Location is not super central...but just a very short walk to the bus stop....and away we went. Convenient and easy.

We were a party of 5 and no one had any problems with this vrbo.

Great vacation

We had a great vacation in London. Bev and Jeff were very helpful even going so far as to load up the refrigerator when our flight was delayed causing us to arrive late at night. We were a group of 7 adults and the house and location worked very well for us.

The BEST home away from home!

We have traveled all over the world and always look for the perfect home where our family can stay. Jeff and Bev's home is absolutely the BEST home in the world! They thought of every little detail. The home is perfect, inviting, very clean, in a great location, includes a great book of information, and met our every need. We will be returning to London and will only stay with them. We would recommend this place to anyone. You will be missing out if you don't choose to stay here. Thank you Bev and Jeff!

Perfect hosts/home for your London stay!

My family of 5 stayed with Jeff and Bev over the Christmas holidays and we loved every minute of our stay. They are such great people: caring, fun, and charming in all the right ways. They did so many extra things for us to ensure our holiday was special and we came away from our stay feeling as if we had made new great friends. The home is in a quiet street close to all the action. When you stay in their home you are within easy walking distance of the buses, tubes, shops, and fun activities the City offers, yet you live in their neighborhood. The home is well-appointed with great beds, several bathrooms, a good kitchen/dining room and comfy living room. Jeff and Bev really add value with all the things they provide and you can really tell they love doing this. I hunted for 6 months trying to find just the right place for my family in London and I found it with Jeff and Bev. If their home is available when you want, lock it in and don't second guess your decision. From now on, we know where we're staying in London. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for being such great hosts. Can't wait to see you again soon! Kevin and Lisa

'Home from home'

A lovely homely property in a great location to explore London. Owners were so helpful with some lovely touches, like the Christmas tree, and stocking basic food supplies. They took the time to explain the best ways to get around London. With them living next door it gave us piece of mind. Kids were happy with the free WIFI that worked well. The property is of a high standard and very clean. Restaurants and a large new supermarket within walking distance. We couldn't have chosen anything better!
