A great stay!

Vanessa was an excellent host of this beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in Wollongong.

The place was completely spotless and the kitchen was full of crockery, cutlery and dishwashing equipment.

Vanessa was extremely helpful & responded within minutes every time I contacted her.

We will definitely stay here again if we pass through Wollongong !

Double booked

Despite booking the apartment months earlier, we were left out in the cold. The owner was not apologetic and didn't answer calls from myself or Stayz staff for quite some time despite knowing there was a problem unfolding.

Owner's Response: We were apologise to what had happened to you and contacted stayz straight away after we found out the double booking. We rented another place for you and you didn’t like it. So we paid another accommodation for you at 5pm in the afternoon,( normal check in time is 2pm) You threaten us will take leaf all actions if we don’t pay you some settlement fee, we paid you $427 to make up for you, but you still doing these unreasonable disgraceful actions.

Great apartment in handy location

We stayed at the apartment as a base for our daughter`s wedding. Everything was top notch! Appliances were high quality and furnishings very tasteful. The apartment is an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the stadium. One of my pet hates is when rental apartments don`t provide enough cutlery/crockery and I was happy to discover there was plenty of both in the apartment.

Having read previous reviews I was aware of the "1 key" issue and I do agree a second key would be handy but wasn`t really a problem for us.

My tip for future guests is to be careful which lift you take as if you get in the wrong one you can be stuck, as we were, in the wrong lobby. The correct lift is not the one you drive past in the car park, it`s further along.

All in all we had a lovely stay and recommend to others.

A Disappointing Stay

The inconvenience of being issued with only one key amongst our group for a weekend stay proved to be an unnecessary stress when the key was accidentally left in the apartment. Entry could only be gained by enslisting the services of a locksmith which turned into a costly exercise and left to we the customers to meet the cost.Had we been in possession of a second key such a time wasting and stressful problem would have been avoided. Communication with the owner to try to solve the problem proved futile and very disappointing for us.

Good location

Good location and plenty of space for two families, but each couple need a key each to access the apartment, it was very inconvienient. The apartment was hard to find, need numbers on the apartment building.
