High-end country comfort was one of the high lights of our road trip

  • 5 of 5

Helen and Bryan have a stunning home full of lovely antiques and interesting pieces, wait till you see the Aga! The home isn’t a drafty old heritage listed building, it is modern and warm, full of light with high ceilings and french doors all down one side and equipped with all the mod-cons. Everything is crisp, clean, beautiful and comfortable. They are extremely welcoming hosts, willing to go the extra mile for you; answering questions, suggesting things to see, telling amusing stories over a cuppa and Bryan cooks a great hot breakfast for you in the morning. They both made a big fuss over our puppy too, so he gives Helen, Bryan, Charlie and Hollyoak a big 5 paw rating! We will definitely visit again and you should too.

What a charming home and it's owners

  • 5 of 5

Helen and Bryan are the most charming hosts one could think off in such a charming setting, although it was the cold season their surroundings would be magnificent when every thing is in bloom come spring.

The interior of the house is so warm and welcoming, and the effort put into your stay makes one feel like family, not to mention the breakfast buffet, just scrummy.

It was a delight staying there.

Warm and cosy on a cold night

  • 4 of 5

We recently attended a Wedding at St.Claire’s In Trentham East, and had the pleasure of staying at Hollyoak. We were warmly greeted by hosts Brian and Helen. Our room was beautiful and warm and the shower was fabulous. Hollyoak had much charm ; the furniture and decor was just so nice. We were spoilt for choice at coffee, rhubarb & muesli, poached eggs and great conversation.

Along with the main shopping street just down the road boasting local produce and delicious food at the bakery, we would recommend Hollyoak as a lovely place to stay when in Trentham

A very comfortable B&B with very congenial and welcoming hosts.

  • 5 of 5

The B&B is well situated in Trentham in easy walking distance of the town. The property is very comfortable with a separate guests lounge where reading a book on a wet afternoon was very welcome. The bedroom and bathroom are well appointed and the hosts provide a delicious breakfast.

Where to stay in Trentham!

  • 5 of 5

Bryan and Helen were charming hosts - we could not have felt more welcomed. Not much to add except to say that we'd certainly stay there again, and would recommend to friends travelling in the Trentham area.
