A truly Magnificent established 50 acre farm in the Byron Bay Hinterland (Byron Shire). A special place for your family to be together without all the city distractions; a place to share time with other families; or a time for friends to enjoy company together in the beautiful Northern Rivers. There is no reason to leave if you don't want to. Relax on the dam pontoon during the day and sit around the sandstone fire pit by night.

However if you want to explore the region, the farm is less than 10 mins to several beaches; 8 mins to major shopping centre; 20 mins to Byron Bay; 12mins to Brunswick Heads; 25mins to Bangalow; and 35 mins from Coolangatta Airport. The farm is straight down the M1 with easy access 5 mins from the Motorway.

The VALE is a perfect location to get away from all the stress and bustle of City life and enjoy the tranquility and peace of the rural lifestyle; though close enough to shops, many wonderful restaurants and the varied cultural aspects of the Byron Shire. This property has been designed with a French Provincial influence in a rural Australian setting. The gardens are mostly Australian natives attracting a wonderful selection of local birds. Kookaburras will most likely wake you in the morning with the sound of many bird varieties during the day; with the addition of gentle sounds from chickens, turkeys and cattle. Laze around the magnificent natural dam, rest on the pontoon, lounge next to the water.

New Quality Beds:

The farm house sleeps a maximum of 8 adults with an extra bunk bed available for children making 10 in total. There are 2 x King Ensemble Beds, 1 x Queen Ensemble Bed, 1 x Single Ensemble Bed and a bunk bed with a Double Bed below and a Single Bed on top. The main French Room is grand with a private ensuite and walk-in. The Oriental Room has a private verandah overlooking the setting sun, also with an outdoor ensuite. One can open the sliding door of the bath area offering a magnificent view over the paddocks through to the valley. The Cherub Room and the Bunk room share the third bathroom. The linen and towels are by Sheridan and of the highest quality. This is our family home and therefore has all the benefits of a loving home and not just a rental property.


There is an extensive video library with the very latest LED LCD Smart 55inch TV with Soundbar. Just walk in the door, connect using bluetooth and you have access to your music, movies and TV shows. Apple TV is available, just requires your own login details.

There is a glider swing for the romantics, cricket and badminton sets for the athletes, boules for the fun loving; and board games galore. We have Bond 007 Trivial Pursuit, jigsaw puzzles for all ages, cards, UNO and more. There are 2 chess boards and a board game set including checkers, backgammon, snakes & ladders and more. There is no reason to leave the farm.

For the adults, we have a roulette table with blackjack and craps.

There are many different living areas. Firstly, there is the large lounge suite seating 8 people comfortably. Outside on the front verandah there is a large Italian bar, outdoor table and lounge setting, together seating 16 people. In the garden there is a marble table with 6 stools and an exquisite white marble horse fountain offering the gentle sound of running water. There is another large outdoor table by the wood fired pizza oven and Kamado BBQ. The Western verandah also offers another private area of seating and dining. Around the fire pit there is further seating. This property provides many different spaces for privacy and social gatherings.

Modern Kitchen:

The kitchen has a Miele dish washer and a country Euromaid 5 burner gas oven with 3 separate ovens. By the front verandah there is a Kamado Japanese BBQ next to a very large wood fired pizza oven. The beautiful Italian Bar services the outdoor entertaining area. There is also a fire pit for simple BBQ cooking. One never has to leave the property with the choice of cooking facilities - all of an extremely high standard.

Running Creek & Dam:

There is a large spring fed dam with a beautiful natural tropical backdrop. A hardwood pontoon allows easy access to the water with a selection of blow up lounges and water toys to relax and feel the gentle breeze. Next to the dam are sun lounges to soak up the magnificent weather. There is absolute privacy, no one can see you lounging or swimming. The property also includes a beautiful full-year running creek with several swimming holes, all with a stone base which is perfect for lazing around on a hot summers day. The creek is a few minutes walk from the farm house. Children can be supervised from the luxury of some large native trees overhanging the water. We usually wear a pair of old joggers when swimming as the creek is home to various native fish and other local animals. It is common to see perch, some platypus if you are very quiet, even an echidna or two as you walk through the paddocks.


The laundry has a washing machine and dryer of the latest Miele products (WKG130 + TKB450) - with TwinDOS and capsule dispensing (only uses Miele detergent provided).

Grocery Delivery & Vegetable Garden:

Coles online can deliver your groceries to the door, so plan ahead and your order can arrive at the farm as you do. We also have a vegetable garden suppling some fresh fruit and vegetables including some fresh eggs from our own chickens. There is also an extensive herb garden available for your use.


Your family pet is welcome provided they do not interfere with the livestock or cause any problems. There is a dog pen for security at night and the house area is fully fenced with both paddock fencing and an overlay of dog fencing. Pets are permitted in the home, though not allowed on the furniture. A quality tick and flea medication is absolutely required to ensure their health and prevent flea or parasite problems on the property.

Please no enquiries for dirt bikes as we are a breeding farm with young calves. And no music festivals.


The property has a full time caretaker who manages the farm, Jason, so if you have concerns with using the many items available, he is there to assist.

The Vale is a special place indeed. Every aspect of our 5 star 5 night stay was amazing. The outdoor bathroom with a view, the pizza oven, the beautiful homestead (better than the photos!) the grounds and gardens, games provided, books, magazines and the most well equipped kitchen you've ever seen on holidays.

The Vale is a loved and well designed home, with many beautiful pieces of furniture and additional touches. We went with our two boys (9,13) and our little dog, who all loved it too. The roulette table on the deck, badminton on the grass and the sandstone outdoor fire pit provided hours of fun.

The owner was kind, thoughtful and went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely stay.

It's the type of place you don't want to leave and a coles delivery is available so you don't have to!

Thank you for an amazing stay The Vale.

What a Gem

Two families stayed at this lovely farmhouse over the New Year period and had a fantastic time. The property is so well equiped and comfortable, you want for nothing. We will go back.

Country Elegance

What a great break we had with our family over Xmas at The Vale!!

Couldn't fault anything with this place from the moment we started correspondence from the second we left after a 6 night stay.

Incredible house full of elegant country charm offering the peace & tranquility we desperately needed as we caught up with all of our family across the nights and days.

A few minutes from billinudgel and a few more to ocean shores and Brunswick Heads which hosted amazing beaches and more than enough shopping options for food.

Be prepared not to leave though as not only does the Vale offer a massive gas burner cooktop and oven but also a char grill ceramic BBQ (steaks, leg of lamb, fresh giant squash, roast pumpkins) and a divine wood fired pizza oven. I enjoyed every moment of cooking for all of my family and they thoroughly enjoyed everything I put in front of them.

The Beds were unbelievably comfortable, showers were perfect and the property itself was just what we needed to get back in touch with each other. Kids loved the space to run and play all day finishing each day on a brilliant and very smart setup with the big Television watching movies whilst the adults fired up the guitars and sang the nights away in front of a star filled sky and fire pit.

Jason is the onsite caretaker and is a champion bloke who couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our

stay there.

Classy, peaceful, friendly and loads of fun is the Vale and I would highly recommend taking a break out here.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

The Vale was a delight and a real treat for us. The homestead is a lovely modern home in its build and fitout, yet old world in feel, with its gorgeous furniture and ornate mirrors throughout.

We really enjoyed the farm aspects - cows in the paddock, fresh eggs in the chook pen and chasing ducks down at the creek. The fresh herbs we were able to pick for our 'quiet night in' were an added bonus.

It became cool late in the day so we sat around the firepit with a hot chocolate and a sassy red - a perfect end to a wonderful country day !

The games table [backgammon, roulette and poker was a lot of fun too].

Thank you Stayz - we'll be back !!
