About Kerin Booth

While I live near Launceston, I love staying for a few days at our Kingston Beach apartment with my husband or with some of our 8 grandchildren. There is so much I still want to see and experience in Southern Tasmania. In the local area, I love a stretch on the outdoor gym equipment in the nearby park, a stroll along the beach or esplanade, stopping a while to enjoying the cafés. I love that it's just 10 to 15 minutes from Hobart City, Salamanca and the wharf. Relaxing back at the apartment I love watching the sunset over kunanyi Mt Wellington and appreciate the view through to the beach in the morning light. Overnight I sleep well, listening to the sound of the waves on the beach.

Why Kerin Booth chose Kingston Beach

I enjoy offering the apartment to guests so they can enjoy a pleasant holiday or a relaxing time away from home and city life while on a work or business trip. While it is still to be renovated, it is clean, bright, pleasant and comfortable.

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment is both affordable and convenient and guests describe it as very clean and comfortable, enjoying the quality linen and the top-down bottom-up blinds that allow for both privacy and views. We were so lucky to find this unit as it has pleasant views through to the beach and mountain.

The apartment was perfect for our needs and so close to the beach and shops. It was great to have the extra single mattress and bedding. Everything was clean and tidy. We were very happy to stay here.

Thank

  • 5 of 5

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for our break away to Hobart . We stayed at Kingston Beach unit and it was Fabulous.

Decor was good, spotless presentation with everything a family could desire. It truly was a 'home-away-from-home'. A delightful retreat at the end of busy days sightseeing and beach time.

What I liked was the 'no fuss' booking, all was done online, no hassles. I would certainly recommend the host Kevin Booth who accepted my booking which was very last minute and even rang us on the day of our arrival to ensure we could get in the unit without any hassle.

The view from the unit is great and if I ever go back I will definitely book it again. Just a recommendation couple of umbrellas would be handy.

Thank you for making our trip memorable.

Pleasantly cosy

  • 5 of 5

My family had a good winding down for 2nights after long days in Tasmania. Kerin's place has everything we needed and was so clean. We felt as we were at home as it is pleasantly cosy. Lovely view, on both side of the window overlooking the mountain and the beach. I really enjoyed washing the dishes with beach view.

Few breaths away from beach and great coffee.

Supermarket and restaurants are less than 5' driving.

Cute holiday flat

  • 4 of 5

We spent a week at Kingston Beach and the holiday unit was the perfect fit for us (2 adults, 1 child). The two bedrooms had a good size and the recliner chair were great at night. Views to Mt Wellingston on one side and the beach on the other. Walking distance to great coffee place and the beach. It was a great base to do the Huon Valley, Bruny Island, Mt Wellington and the rest of Hobart. Even with a rainy day you can just enjoy the view.
