The Khaya is a spacious and fully self contained, one roomed studio with a queen and two singles.
The shower and separate toilet are outside in the Khayas' own private courtyard, where there is also a second dining table and an extra double daybed to relax upon.
The kitchen is well set up for cooking and the dining table seats six if you need.
Theres the laundry, and extra garden toilet and shower out in the communal area.
At the Freostay Village the two main houses, and the Khaya studio are connected by beautiful garden paths joining at the Shebeen area which is there for all to use.
It is an urban village built especially to accommodate guests.
The houses are solid, simple and natural. Facilities are all of good quality and the curved adobe walls create peace and privacy between dwellings with established gardens giving a country feel.
Fully self-contained houses, laundry with all requirements, parking for vehicles, beautiful gardens, and the Shebeen, a communal gathering place housing its own outdoor kitchen as well.
Interaction with Guests
Not at all unless we are asked, we offer childcare and advise, and also specialised breakfasts prepared in the Shebeen upon request.
Massive hundred year old Tuart Trees line the street, which is quiet as it doesn't run directly from any of the main roads. Golf Course and Booyeembara Garden Park are only a block away and its a 15 minute walk to Fremantle centre or the beaches.
Buses to and from Fremantle run nearby, train station to city is in Freo.
