Escape to the beauty and tranquility of the upper Shoalhaven River valley. Our 3 huts have simple comforts and access to the greater wilderness of the Deua National Park with walks to The Big Hole and Marble Arch just a few hundred metres away.
We offer our guests simple and comfortable accommodation established in a relaxed rural garden setting with an awareness of the Australian landscape, our bush heritage and environmentally sustainable practices.
All 3 huts are well insulated, have wood fired heaters (firewood provided) and have been constructed from a variety of recycled hardwoods, sustainable timber products and galvanised corrugated iron to reflect our rural heritage. They are furnished with an eclectic range of rustic, vintage and antique pieces to sit comfortable with more functional modern fittings like the very comfortable beds ( we supply all linen).
Paddy's Hut has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. There is a double sofa bed in the large living area and we do have 4 foam mattresses for spill over usage. There is a well equipped small commercial kitchen and instantaneous gas hot water and a very good gas stove.
The 2 smaller huts (Walden and Louisa's) are open plan with a small kitchenette each. They each have 2 single beds and a double sofa bed.
The bathrooms are located only a matter of metres from all the huts, well situated for access and privacy. The bathrooms are thoughtfully presented, modern and spacious.
