Your sun-drenched, 3 bedroom apartment within the heart of Katoomba is on the top (3rd) floor of an art deco building. With that comes loads of light and exceptional views. Quality linen and breakfast provisions are provided for your enjoyment.
Sit in the dining room and take in the magic of the Blue Mountains escarpments laid out in front of you, or look across to Leura, just a stones throw away with its renowned mall and shops.
Perhaps catch that breathtaking storm roll in or see the early morning mist burn off. In the afternoon, enjoy the everchanging scene from the dining room with a glass of local wine; curl up on the sofa in front of the big gas combustion fire in the colder months and watch a movie. We have a selection of DVDs and unlimited Wifi.
Take time to visit the rooftop terrace where there is a 360 degree panorama - great for photographers.
The apartment faces east, away from the street and is very quiet for an undisturbed night's sleep. Electric blankets, extra doonas and throws are provided.
We also have a newly restored deep bath to relax and have a soak! For those longer stays, there are laundry facilities, indoor and outdoor drying lines.
Surrounded by all this natural beauty, you have the convenience of the many restaurants, bars and entertainment or events on offer. Nothing in town would be more than a 10-15 minute stroll away.
You will have full private use of the whole apartment but no parties at all. The apartment would suit 5-6 people, families, friends or even just one couple wanting to enjoy a few days out together.
Rooftop access is strictly limited to laundry access and viewing or photography only. Weekend stays are minimum 2 nights, all long Weekends are a minimum of 3 nights , all public Holidays are subject to a public holiday surcharge.
Interaction with Guests
Please provide a phone number when you book with us so that we have a point of contact. Ross and I will most often be available for anything you may need so please don't hesitate to contact us should the need arise. One of us will most likely be present at your arrival to show you through and ensure that you have everything you need. We would be grateful to receive a call or message the day before you arrive (if in the country) and/or an estimated time of arrival to ensure we can be there to arrange keys etc.
Katoomba has a lot of history and character and is the gateway to both upper and lower Blue Mountains attractions. If you are travelling further afield it is a great place to stop in transit.
It's a little quirky, a little funky and has really friendly cafes, restaurants and its accessibility to other places makes it a very attractive destination for holiday makers. The home of the steepest railway in the world, The Scenic Railway, next to Echo Point and The 3 sisters, all the great trail walks, Leura Forrest, Giant Stairs, Furber Steps and Mt Solitary to name a few. The Cultural Centre in the very heart of Katoomba is well worth a visit. The heritage Niagara Building has Palette dining with its own small food and cocktail bar upstairs; The Station Bar's pizzas are delicious and then, of course, there is The Carrington Hotel with its own inimitable heritage and style. We have everything from Mexican, Japanese, Thai, Indian and Italian on the doorstep. Take your pick!
If the weather should take a turn you could catch a movie at The Edge cinema or grab some take away food and head back to soak in a hot bath and watch a movie!
- The apartment is extremely well located where local amenities are concerned.
- It has a single car space allocated downstairs, so please let us know if you are coming by car so we can show you where the space is. Otherwise, there is ample parking close by and around town.
- If arriving by train, it is about 5 minutes walk from Katoomba Train Station.
- The Blue Mountains Explorer Bus and stop is a few minutes from the front door.
- There are 3 major supermarkets and a local food co-op for provisions within walking distance should you need.
Other Things to Note
Please note for families with small children we have installed safety Pins on every Window. It is the guests responsibility to ensure that they are secured in place during your stay. Please refer to the welcome folder on site which will detail this further.
The roof top is out of bounds except to view and photograph, or to access laundry facilities. Please no noise after 10pm. We would appreciate that you wash up your dishes and return all items used to their original place. Should you be interested in purchasing any of the artists work please call me to enquire.
There is a register book that we would be grateful if you would write how you enjoyed your stay with us and we would be most appreciative to receive a review on the accommodation provider website following your stay as March 2016 is a new beginning for this holiday apartment. Thanks so much ;) Please note that should any items be lost or broken they will be charged accordingly.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation
All guests must be aware of our terms and conditions, variances can be agreed on but only by prior arrangement with the host in writing.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties, schoolies and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in payment of the security deposit and/or additional payments.
Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests, unless prior arrangement has been made with the host in writing
Disturbance to our neighbour's, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and payment of the security deposit.
The security deposit is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared and is to be paid within 14 days of the owners request for payment
The owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
