One of four cottages on this peaceful retreat, the open plan living area in Banksia Cottage has a cosy wood heater for the cooler days. There is a large deck with a BBQ, table and seats. Banksia Cottage is a 10 minute walk from a long, white, sandy beach and close to the Rocky Cape National Park where there are hiking trails and spectacular, coastal scenery. The cottage has a queen bed in the main bedroom, 2 singles in the second bedroom and a double with bunk over in the third as well as a day bed in the living area. Ideal for a larger family or small group, Banksia Cottage is one of two cottages set together on the Eagles Rise property. Pademelon wallabies, possums and many different birds can be seen in the gardens near Banksia Cottage. These are always a delight to visitors especially the children.

Set amongst native trees and gardens Banksia Cottage is an ideal holiday home for the family. It is quite a large holiday cottage with an open plan living area and cosy wood heater. There are three bedrooms, one with queen bed, the second with two singles and third has a double bed with bunk over. A large, modern bathroom with bath, shower and toilet is a feature of the cottage (there is also a separate toilet). A large deck with Webber Family BBQ and outdoor furniture make this the perfect place to relax with the family. The beautiful long, sandy beach is only a 10 minute walk away and is ideal for a leisurely morning or evening stroll or a swim in the wonderful, clear water. The jetty at the western end of the beach is a great place to throw out a fishing line when the tide is coming in. There is also a very good boat ramp for those who wish to bring their boat. Banksia Cottage has plenty of room to park a car and boat. The Rocky Cape National Park has hiking trails to isolated beaches and small caves. For those who just want to get away and relax then the peace and quiet of Banksia Cottage is just the thing. This Christian retreat property adjoins the Rocky Cape National Park so small pademelon wallabies, possums and many different birds can be seen near the cottage.
