Owner : Malak purchased this villa in 2007
For a couple of years, I have been looking for a villa in Northern Lazio's Lakes District. Finally, by accident, one day I came across the villa, fell in love with it and immediately bought it. I was fascinated by that lovely, green, airy, sunny valley where the villa is located, and with the extention of the park. As I LOVE gardening, I took care personally of preparing colourful rose bushes cutlings and grew them with enthusiasm. They are now fully grown and breathtaking. I also planted numerous Olive and fruit trees, and constructed a lovely pool and a large patio for open air meals. . Every time I set foot in that property, I feel relaxed, happy and in peace with the world.
The villa is located in a very privileged position, at the cross roads between Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria, therefore, making it easy to visit all the towns and villages of all three regions, which hold 60% of Italy's artistic and historical wealth. Furthermore, beside being close to Rome and the Vatican City, it is located in the beautiful Lakes District north of Rome, which boosts four wonderful lakes. Moreover, the villa provides total privacy, calm amd silence, while beeing close to where activities are. Hence, you can combine cultural discoveries with relaxation and sports, and you can store as much sun as you wish by the lovely pool, in the middle of a vast green manicured park, enjoyable by adults and children alike..
Our family of 2 adults and 3 children had a lovely stay in this villa. We had a warm welcome from the owner who had thoughtfully made us a meal and was extremely helpful. The garden and pool are amazing - a great space for the children to run around, they particularly enjoyed spotting lizards! We spent a lot of time in the pool and enjoyed our meals (including BBQs!) outside. Being in a rural area meant that it was peaceful and relaxing. We did a few trips out - going on the train to Rome for the day and we also enjoyed nearby Sutri with it's amphitheatre and ice cream. We would definitely recommend this villa for a holiday.
